Spent two nights at hotel. It was very nice. Easy access via complimentary shuttle from airport. Right on a small lake that was full of baby ducks, etc. Very comfortable bed! Clean and quiet room. No airport noise. Pool looked inviting but didn't make it in. Really liked the chocolate chip cookie too. Have to cab into downtown if you need or want to go there.

Beautiful property, the lake side walk path is wonderful, the room is clean and big, front desk is very courteous. We asked room change because the room doesn't have refrigerator in the room, front desk told us that they will send a refrigerator over. When then take a walk by the lake. The refrigerator was already in the room and running when we return.

If you were Hilton Hhonors Top tier members, I suggest you visit other Brands by Hilton. Because you probably will not receive the benefits of a Diamond Member, but at other brands you will be treated as valued.

We need a quick little get away. This hotel is only 10 miles from our home. It was perfect to just get away from the everyday, and go relax and feel like we were on vacation. Everything was very good.

Clean and comfortable. Rooms are awesome, and very nice. We did not here freeway traffic or airplanes coming into the airport...a plus for sure. Had an issue with breakfast, but all in all this is a great place to stay.

This is a nice Hilton property - it is a busy place and it is properly run. The staff here make up for any deficiencies in the property. The airport shuttle is spot on, the front desk clerks are amazing. The restaurant is SUPERB and the Bar staff both downstairs and in the executive lounger are top shelf.

Room didn't have waters in it - I'm HHonors so it is expected. Room was not cool and would not cool. I didn't call front desk because I arrived at 1 am. Room was in the high rise which was a hell of a walk at 1 am when i arrived.

We stayed here for one night. We had never stayed at a DoubleTree before, but will definitely be staying again! The staff was friendly, the room was immaculate, and of course the cookies were delicious! We also loved the walking pond in the back and the putting green!

We stayed here for two nights to see SLC before heading to a few national parks. It is close to the airport and a quick drive to downtown. On the plus side the staff is very nice everywhere you go. Requests to housekeeping were quickly fulfilled. The breakfast is quite tasty and not that pricey for a hotel. Starbucks coffee is included which was a plus. And of course the standard doubletree cookies are yummy. The hotel is ok but seems a little dated for a doubletree. The room was large... Read more

We loved staying at this hotel! It was very nice looking out onto a little lake! The staff was friendly. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the neat lounge in the evening and loved the large spacious rooms and comfortable beds! The complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing before we took off for Moab! Well stay here again in a heartbeat when we return to salt lake!

Stayed here for 1 night. Clean and comfortable. The place is huge and we got a room right by the pond. There's ample parking. No complaints. We also ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Slightly pricey (~$14 - 15 main course) but worth it for the convenience. The food was good. Dessert was great !

Worst Hilton hotel I have ever stayed at! I have stayed at this hotel about 5 months ago and it was not bad. Started with digital check in. I requested a room and when I checked in at 4pm it was not ready! Was not recognized as a Hilton member at check in, no cookie offered. Room was full of mosquitos which I spent each night killing before bed. Second day I got locked out, front desk kept asking me how long my stay was. Which told me they had me checked out( reason my key didn't work). Said the... Read more

Allegiant airline had cancelled our flight from Missoula and so we had to roadtrip down to salt lake city to take a flight out early the next morning. I booked the doubletree because it was near the airport, the price was reasonable, and I knew the reputation of the brand was good. Even for a quick in and out the hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is clean, well appointed, and has generous space in the rooms and public facilities. I would definitely book this hotel again. I think it had... Read more

Stayed at this hotel during a family vacation. The staff was kind and helpful and the accommodations were execellent at the price point (less than $100 per weeknight). The pool area and gym were very nice. Enjoyed a evening snack and breakfast as I stayed in an excutive level room, the services were well worth the price.

It's been a while since I gave a hotel 5 stars - and I stay at a LOT. Upgraded to executive floor (floor 3 in main bldg), acknowledged my diamond status, got a warm cookie. The room was in very good shape, even though the hotel is not new, It's obvious the maintenance has been professionally kept up. The room was very clean and air conditioner cold. I went to the executive lounge and the evening host was top notch not even letting me get out of my chair for a drink. The room was packed and he w... Read more

We stayed two nights at the start of our Teton/Yellowstone road trip and having previously always been very happy with Doubletree hotels we were disappointed with aspects of this hotel. Our problems started at Checkin. We had e-mailed ahead to request a quiet room with no connecting door. On arrival the reception staff failed to acknowledge our Hilton Honours member status and told us all rooms had connecting doors. We challenged this and eventually we were offered "the only room without a con... Read more

Being a Gold member in the Hilton Honors program and being treated like I was means the non-member is sure to be treat worse. The quality of there food is deplorable. Salads are served with brown stale lettuce, the property is dated and people are rude.

Have stayed here several times. Convenient to airport. Hotel is kept nice and staff is very friendly. Room is always clean. I have never experienced any issues while staying here. The shuttle to the airport is a quick trip. The exercise rooms is a bit small, but the equipment is in good order. The breakfast buffet is good.

We stayed one night at the hotel and made this choice since we arrived late at the airport and were picking a car up the next morning from the airport. The shuttle service works really well, and we didn't have to wait anytime both ways. When the driver picked us up from the airport late at night she brought warm cookies which was a lovely touch and welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We book on the executive floor and went to the lounge for breakfast which was perfectly fine too. ... Read more

I am diamond level with Hilton so stay at their properties around 4 months out of the year. This Doubletree is simply tired. Worn out rooms, bathroom doors that can't shut, grout missing in a lot of the tiles, water stains on the ceiling, bed covers worn thru, dirty windows, dirty carpet, pool is small and dirty. Staff is friendly which makes up for a bit. Lounge for honors members is ok - small and not amazing. The Home 2 Suites close by is much better and cheaper.

No air conditioning, dirty rooms with worn-out fixtures and furniture. Had to change rooms due to no AC, new room was cooler but smelled of smoke, was still dirty and had broken furniture. Neither room felt clean. This place is not worth the money and not worthy of the Hilton brand. I'm a loyal honors member but will tell my travel department to avoid this place. Bad experience and will not return.

I stayed one night at the Double Tree during my drive between St. Louis and San Francisco. I was traveling alone so I was really praying this would be a safe, restful place for the night between long days of driving. It was everything I was looking for and more! This is an old hotel, unrefurbished and dowdy. It sits by a pond separating it from a noisy freeway. It is 2 miles from the airport. I had an upgraded room. The "balcony" was a narrow concrete add on with no room even for a chair and the freeway noise was appalling. The room was fairly large and the bathroom tiny. The executive lounge was a hotel room - crowded, poky and entirely without appeal. Food offerings were also unappealing. There is a small pool in a large empty room. Altogether a ro... Read more

I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and I can tell you that this is a nice hotel. It's showing some age here and there, but the people who work there are just great. The food in the restaurant is better than average too. The best part for me was that it was the least expensive property in the Salt Lake City area (by more than half) when I stayed. There are other Hilton properties nearby, but this is now my go-to when I go to Salt Lake.

Large rooms on the H Honors floor and executive suite breakfast was done well. Most of the hotel is showing signs of age and lack of attention to detail. I do not recommend this hotel as the hotel owners are not putting in new updates and pitching pennies to put more profit in their pockets.

Hotel was replacing carpeting in hall ways restricting access to rooms in the late afternoon and up to 10 pm. Poor planning. Staff did not make eye contact, had to ask for Honor "perks" and overall did not perform up to Hilton traditional standards I have received in the past

After 5 different stays in a Hilton property using my Hilton honor points and being a Diamond Hilton Honors member, was acknowledged by staff for having the diamond status. The hotel was located on a lake and we got a room on the water, unfortunately could not walk along the water due to rainy day. The room was a typical Doubletree room. Breakfast was great with lots of choices.
