I would give this 5 stars, but I just can't for one reason. There were no mattress covers of any kind between the very thin sheet and the mattress. I don't think I have ever seen that before. There is always some sort of barrier or covering between the mattress and sheet. I find that kind of sketchy. Other than that. Very clean, comfortable, roomy, quiet, and convenient. We would stay here again. The lobby staff was friendly, even though they were very busy during our check in time around 530pm... Read more

We were travelling north from California, and by the time we arrived in St. George we had forgotten about the time change, so found ourselves in St George at 7:30 PM with no room reservation. We stopped at the first spot that we saw which was the Hilton Garden Inn, and found that there was only one room left, and it was priced at least $30 more than what we were paying at most of our stops along the way. When I asked the front desk clerk if she thought that there might be a less expensive spot n... Read more

This hotel was superb. The check in was quick, pool area was very nice, although lots of families were enjoying it, there was still plenty of space. Our room was spotless and seemed as if it was remodeled the night before we got there! Lastly, I must mention that we received Excellent customer service. I dont know if "Ally" was the hotel manager but she gave us everything we needed to make this stay perfect!

Used this hotel as our base for exploring the beautiful Utah area. Lovely welcome as we arrived and our room was spick and span with a very welcome fridge installed. Room was serviced well each day. Cannot comment on the breakfast (extra charge) as we took something out each day as a picnic. This is the second time we have stayed here and would certainly revisit.

The Hilton garden inn has THE best and most accommodating staff. Warm, welcoming people from the first call I made to them to let them know I was coming in a little late, changing my room when I checked in to better suite my needs and arranging for a later check out which allowed me to enjoy every last meeting of that day without stressing. :)). My husband and I checked in at the Hilton Garden Inn, St George, Utah, on a Saturday afternoon in June of 2016. I had to say one of the front clerks checking us in was very helpful with the local information. That left us with an initial impression that our stay of 5 days would be just as nice as when we checked in at the hotel. We are Diamond HH members and have stayed in many Hilton Garden Inns around the country. This one is in a great location but just did not measure up to Hilton standards in all respects. First, the room is appointed like all other Hilton Garden Inns, but this one had a mattress on a piece of plywood in a nice wooden frame. Hmmm. Looked like a nice building... with a pool and another outside sitting area off the lobby. Problems during our stay had to do with staff and housekeeping. Here's what pulled my rating down... (1) Checking in at 12 midnight due to our late-night flight from SLC, we were anxious to get to our room, for which I'd used the HHonors online "pre-checkin." On a one-night stay for a cross-country trip, I simply want (and expect) a clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed, newer, hi-def tv with a variety of channels, reasonably quick WIFI, and efficient service throughout. This hotel had them all. In addition, room furnishings, including an extremely comfortable desk chair, were as expected from a Hilton Garden Inn, and parking (at least for this night) was easy. Even better, it was right behind a Cracker Barrel!
