Spent 4 nights over a long weekend. Room was very quiet, despite being just steps from the breakfast room, didn't hear a bit of it until opening the door. Couldn't hear our neighbors above or beside us. My only complaint was the inability to get a good nights sleep. My wife didn't have any problem but I hated the pillows. One was too firm, the other too soft. Nice pool, good breakfast, we'd stay here again.

I was in town for the annual Utah Woodturners Symposium. This hotel was nice enough to offer a special rate for this event. I had a lovely room with a view of the snow capped peaks. Breakfast was great and the staff were more than helpful and responsive to my questions. There is a Subway and a Dominos in the parking lot. Indoor pool, adequate parking, near the freeway.

My husband and I were in town on business and stayed four nights. The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet, despite being next to the stairwell. We were on the second floor, which means we were able to hear all of the traffic, but overall it wasn't bad. Bonus was the windows could be opened for fresh air. And did I mention the view of the mountains from our window??!! The first night our room was missed on the cleaning schedule, but a trip to the front desk got us fresh towels in n... Read more

Was told at check in that the 4th floor had just been converted from smoking to non-smoking and the rooms still smelled like smoke. A likely storey. Did not get a complaint from any of my co-workers who were on that floor. I happen to be a Rewards Club member as well. I hate when I am lied to. I was at the Hotel on business for a month. Management keep leaving messages about wanting access to "clean" my room. I usually allow them to come in every 3 days. this particular day, I noticed, after I ... Read more

Location was OK, breakfast was great, room was great, mattress was one of the worse ever, at least a 4 inch dip where you slept. Also, the guy at the desk was really rude. I called and asked for the corporate rate for my company. He said he could not give that to me, that I would need to go on booking.com or where ever I saw it to get that rate. I was forced to call the central reservations for Holiday Inn to book it. It would have been very helpful to not have to hang up, look for the numb... Read more

Had to take my mother to her house in Wyoming for the summer and stayed here on the way up. Very nice property, and everything was great. However, we apparently chose a date that they did some type of annual updates on the satellite system, so nobody in the hotel had any television of any kind. It would have been beneficial to have been made aware of it ahead of time. They did not even tell us that when we were checking in. I used my Points for the room, but mom had to pay full bore. It wo... Read more

I was traveling home and because I had such a good experience last time I'd try it again. Unfortunately I asked for a king room and wasn't told it would it be a handicapped accessible room. It just didn't work for me, still a clean room but the bathroom with no shower enclosure created a very wet uncomfortable environment and the lack of a vanity was a real pain. Had I been told this when I booked I would have opted for something different. But I still appreciate the staff and will give it ... Read more

Just a little difficult to get to in heavy traffic with the sun directly in my eyes but well worth the effort. Beautiful glass objects in the lobby. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff, very good value. If you have been on the road for several days as we had been and you could use a car wash, there is a wash behind the motel. It offers a drive thru wash.

Never go to a Holiday inn again. This place was terrible. First air conditioner was making loud noise. I pushed down on top of it and it stopped making noise. Then shower door was not working properly, would not open or close unless you pushed real hard. It was broken. TV goes in and out all day. Tiles on shower floor moldy and broken. Went to pool and it was nasty. Would have liked to have ice cream at store all gone except one choice available. Ya get what you pay for I guess.

Halls and stairwells were dirty, obviously needed vacuumed. Bathroom in our room had hair behind the door and in the shower. We reported it to the hotel clerk and she said she would have it taken care of right away. We waited about 10 minutes and housekeeping showed up at our door with additional towels. She obviously didn't understand what she needed to come to our room for. The hotel clerk at night that checked us in was very unpleasant and gave very short abrupt answers to any questions a... We stayed here for one night because it was convenient, and indeed it was. The staff was friendly, the room was great (albeit a bit crowded) and there wasn't a single problem. We used the pool and it was nice, and breakfast in the morning was typical but good. I'd stay here again without any concerns.

There's not a lot to say about this hotel. It's what you'd expect of a Holiday Inn. Clean, clinical (but trying to be homey), very pleasant and helpful staff, and a no frills, serve yourself complimentary breakfast. The room was nice enough, and very clean. Although you could hear everything that was going on in the next room. Everything. Mercifully one person didn't have much stamina, although their partner seemed to be in full agreement! As we'd had a very long drive to get to Orem, we didn'... Read more

Nice front desk staff, clean spacious room, big TV, nice lobby and breakfast area and located right off the freeway. Only downside: Wi Fi is extremely SLOW and UNRELIABLE at all hours of the day or night- called front desk 3 times before giving up. They were understanding but not their fault HI's WI FI is sub-standard.

This hotel is very convenient in that it is right off the 15 freeway. It is clean and the front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast started early enough to get going early. Overall the stay turned out very well. Food locations are within a mile out.

First, I've got to say as a Spire member with 35 years of travel, I love IHG hotels. Overall they treat me and my family extremely well. HI EX Orem is the exception. I've stayed at the hotel in June and had a complaint about the night shift clerk named "Stacey", who I thought to be an extreme jerk due to my being overcharged. I even thought that the guy wanted to punch me when I objected to being mis-charged from my reservation. I seriously thought that the guy wanted to fight. I've posted on th... Read more

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orem/North Provo for a night in July. Check-in was fairly painless, and counterstaff was efficient. The King Bed room was standard in size, with flatscreen TV, fridge and microwave oven. I was given a room for handicap access bathroom (railings, shower curtain instead of shower door etc). A few things in the room were slightly subpar though, including having incadescent light bulbs (most Holiday Inns I've stayed in recently have LED or fluorescent bulbs),... Read more

This was a very new, clean, and quiet facility. Darn near Excellent, but just lacked some of the high end amenities that would have put it over the top. The included breakfast was basic but good (and included both biscuits & gravy and cinnamon rolls).

Holiday Inn Express Orem is just off I-15. Extremely convenient for people doing business near Utah Valley University. I took my youngest son to school. He is rooming right next door at Wolverines Crossing, a student housing complex. Their staff was second to none. There is a Dominos Pizza and Subway with inn walking distance. There is also a Jackson gas station and convenience store next door. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast buffet. There is a coin laundry, swimming pool and ... Read more

Our group was traveling through town and I made reservations at this hotel. The location was ideal just off I-15 and near many things. In the parking lot is a Subway and a pizza place. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and more. The front desk staff was friendly and we had rooms on the top floor. They were clean and very quiet. For my tastes, the mattress was perfect, not too soft or too hard. I got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was the typical enhanced continental. We were fueled up and ready... Read more

Nice hotel. Looked new and well kept. Staff was friendly. We liked our room which was nice and roomy. We didn't have that boxed in feeling. Bed wasn't comfortable. Seemed like it was a used bed in a new hotel.

We needed a place to stay for the wedding party that was close to our venue, that had a pool for the kids and a hot tube for the parents so we could play and relax, was quiet and comfortable so we could get the rest we need for the big day and a breakfast in the morning to get a going. This Holiday Inn Express was the perfect place.

We are a large family and we almost always stay at IHG properties. This one was clean, plenty of parking, and average. They need to add staff as the pool towels were empty and breakfast was not up to par. The coffee was cold, the dining hall messy, and foods needed replenished. There is a Subway and Dominoes in the parking lot that was great.
