We stayed here one night on our way to Arches National Park. It's a little hard to find at night but this place is wonderful. Check in was fast and easy - the room was very large and very clean. The place was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good - lots of seating and food choices.

I booked this hotel some months prior to our trip mostly because of my previous satisfaction with Holiday Inn Express and for the price I received for the room. I was not disappointed. The front dest staff were professional and informative and also friendly! The surrounding grounds were well groomed and inviting. Parking was easy. Since the hotel has been renovated a few years ago, it looked clean, fresh and brand new. I appreciated the more classic muted tones in the walls and fabrics... Read more

The staff were most helpful and wonderful to deal with - especially Wanda. Everyday they put out freshly backed chocolate chip cookies in the lobby area for everyone to enjoy - and they are delicious. The pool and hot tub have a beautiful view of the snow capped Colorado Rockies off in the distance (quite a contrast to the pool area). The breakfast is is a good selection of food each day and the eating area is very nice. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable for good night of sleep... Read more

Upon arriving@ approximately 8pm, we were assigned a room. The night staff were not very friendly. We then got to our room and I told my husband we were missing the inside lock but the latch was there. We called downstairs to let them know and we were told they would have it fixed. When we returned it still had not been fixed and were rather upset that they couldn't fix it in 2 hrs. They finally called the manager and he told them to call the police and he would be down. This hotel seems popular with families with kids, beware. The pool is above average, especially considering the hotel class. The bedding is super comfy. The service and room cleaning was bad. The soap dish in the bathroom was full of soap remains and has obviously not been cleaned. The bath tub had several hairs. When I accidentally locked us out of our room I asked for new keys, which I got. However, both did not work. After returning to the front desk the young girl mouthed at me "both keys ar... Read more

The location is at the end of town closest to the parks which means you need to drive into town for dinner just a bit down the road. We found it very easy to enter and leave. There is some road noise when the AC is not running which with hot days and nights is not a problem. The corridor noise did not penetrate the room. Rooms were well maintained and clean. We enjoyed our stay here in early May. Four of us in a room with 2 Queen beds was very adequate. Good selections for breakfast, friendly staff at reception. Quick checkout. Lovely set up with pool, spa and pit fire on the cooler nights back in early May. Ideally situated to Arches and the main town centre. We loved the freshly baked cookies that appeared in the lobby for guests to help themselves to - nice touch. We would happily stay here again if visiting the area.

The HIE was a great place for our family to stay at during our 3 days in Moab. The room was clean and the entire hotel was well kept. We stayed on the first floor, which made for easy getting into and out of our room. The parking lot was easy to navigate and get into and access to the highway was good. There was an outdoor pool and hot tub, for our boys to unwind and burn excess energy; even after hiking in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Fine place to stay. On north side of town, making it more convenient to Arches and Canyonlands. Yet not far from shops and restaurants in the small town of Moab. Rooms were nice and modern. Breakfast had typical HIE choices - more than enough variety to choose from. Pool with waterfall and hot tub were nice enough - though not quite as large and spectacular as the website photos might lead you to believe.

The hotel was clean and staff was cordial enough but harried by having to deal with crowds of non-English speaking guests. A very "touristy" feel to the hotel. Fine if you're okay with that.

Nice clean place to stay. All rooms were booked but there was plenty of room to park. Room was nice. Adequate linings and towels. Stayed 2 nights. Would stay again. Priced right for the time of year. Great breakfast. Close enough to the National Parks and down the road from the Colorado river.

Not much to say, it's a classic Holiday Inn Express. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff at front-desk and at breakfast. The breakfast was good. Lots of options (waffles, cereal, eggs, turkey patties, yoghurt, breads, juices, coffee, etc) The location to Arches and Canyonlands parks is very convenient. Arches is about 5-10 mins away. This hotel is our #1 choice in the area.

We spent a comfortable two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Moab. The location was perfect for Arches National Park as well as Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands. After traveling through the busy tourist town to get to the hotel, we were very glad to be on the outskirts of the fray and near the parks. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and adequate for our needs. Our room seemed to be recently renovated, though the hallway carpet appeared to be dated. The breakfast, fairly typical of a Holi... Hotel is just ok but with a terrible location far from everything. Downtown and restaurants are about 1 mile away. I would recommend the Hampton Inn or the new Homewood Suites, or Comfort Suites, Best Western Plus.

This was a Holiday Inn which was updated and a new wing added. Friendly staff and comfortable stay. Breakfast is good especially those HIE cinnamon rolls. Comfortable beds. Pool was freezing though and Luke warm shower at 8:00am. Expensive for sure but everything is in Moab in the fall. Quiet location close to Arches NP and the Northern bike trails. I would stay here again but wouldn't rule out other hotels if I could find one cheaper.

We had a room with a reasonable view that was large and comfortable, just outside of town but right end for Arches NP. The only disappointment was the breakfast, not up to the standard we had been getting elsewhere

not the ritz, but what you would expect. They have a free breakfast and the rooms are nice, with coffee and refrigerator, and the breakfast was not bad at all. They were friendly at the desk checking in. It will not disappoint you. Also have a workout room with 2 treadmills, a bike and elliptical machine.

Room and bathroom were nice and clean with good A/C and a window which opens. Bodycare products offered were excellent. Choive at breakfast buffet was ok - replacement of missing things could be improved even when complimentary. Equipment in the fitness room was ok, temperature was nice and cool and the water fountain was a plus one doesn´t find everywhere. The hotel is conveniantly situated next to the Highway passing the national parks (not too loud at night).

We were in Moab for four days to visit Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks and based on previous favorable Holiday Inn Express experiences we reserved a room online. The hotel appears to be newish or very well maintained. The staff to a person were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and handsomely furnished with comfy beds and choice of soft or firm pillows. Big clean bathroom with plenty of towels. Stayed 3 nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. Great view of cliffs in every direction from our room. My grandkids loved the pool area. It had a large pool with a waterfall. There were 2 hot tubs. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast in the large breakfast area which was attractive and also offered some privacy, due to the way the tables are set up, while we ate. The elevator was speedy. The staff were friendly and efficient. I liked the lo... Read more

No surprises here it is a holiday inn... Rooms are a little tired if anything, but the friendly staff mad up for it even changing our room when we asked. The hotel in 5 minutes drive from the centre of town and the same from the arches park. breakfast is ok...just ok . If you are off walking in the park early you have little choice around. But if you get up later I would suggest to have your breakfast in town

Stay one night and it was always a pleasure to stay here. Clean rooms and I love the green soft light in bathroom so you don't have to turn on the main light source to see. I had an amazing view from my room. Breakfast was good, seating a bit of a struggle due to many guest in the hotel. My only complaint is the price, they know they can charge as high as they want because of the National Parks.

Accommodations are average with no extras. Last time I was here I wasn't treated very well and requested a cancellation of this trip but was refused. Since I could not cancel it I requested a room on the third floor on the south side which I was given. Of the four times I have been here I have been locked out of my room on each trip and had to go to the front desk for a new key. Why can't they get this fixed? I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who wants peace and quiet. The cleaning staff... Read more

When we checked in Stephanie the manager was on duty and upgraded us to a beautiful suite, on the top floor. The room was very large and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. Very nice. They serve an excellent breakfast, good quality food, with a large assortment to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Moab. Also within an easy driving to most restaurants in town.

I booked this hotel through my friend and stayed here from October 8 to 11. We had free breakfast during our stay. However, I found our hotel price to be kind of expensive. Our room's view is the parking lot and located on the first floor. The room was clean and had enough towels for our 3 day stay. There are 3 things that we like about this hotel: 1. proximity to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks; 2. proximity to Moab's restaurants and town proper; 3. breakfast offered. The hotel has... This is on the less busy, north end of town nearest the Arches park entrance. Pricey for standard HIE but it??s Moab. I asked for an upper floor but was given a ground floor room with the place sold out. Luckily we did not experience heavy walkers above us. Breakfast was standard HIE fare and fully stocked. Hot cookies were available in the afternoon/evening (a very nice touch.) Towels and toiletries were provided and plentiful. Shower was strong and hot and a drain issue was promptly fixed. ... We have been on a 3 week road trip and have been using Hampton Inns most of the way. We decided to give Holiday INN Express a try as they are similar in price. Check in was easy and friendly but the bathroom floor was so dirty that we had to put towels down to feel safe to walk barefoot. I was quite surprised as we used to stay at these. Beds were fine and I like the different pillows. I think the cleaning lady forgot to mop the floor. Yuck!!

It is in a convenient location to the Arches National Park, but we did find it a bit of a drive into town for dinner - however my perception may be a little skewed as we had been driving all day by the time we reached the hotel, so it would have been nicer if there were some restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay at the holiday inn express because I keep things simple. Everything was new and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. This hotel doesn't really have any type of view. There wasn't a restaurant or bar or else I would have rated it higher. Great stay though and close to everything.
