We stayed at this centrally located inn for five nights. The staff was friendly and professional. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning our room and keeping us supplied with soap, shampoo, etc. The facial and toilet tissues were quite rough. The room was small with an oldish fridge. There was no microwave. There was a coffeemaker with coffee packets but no tea bags which now seems to be a trend at all Hilton properties. However, there was always hot water and tea bags available in lobby. P... Read more

Booking 1 night stay at the Hampton was a last minute decision on our recent vacation to Moab. It was a wonderful surprise to find our room clean, comfortable, and a great breakfast in the morning. Usually those breakfasts include scrambled eggs, but they provided omlets. Our room faced the main road and we worried about traffic noise, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was hardly noticeable.

Very disappointed that the rooms lacked microwaves, especially when paying exorbitant prices. When asked, I was told microwaves were unavailable, even in a common / lobby area. Another aggregation - the public restrooms, near the breakfast area were closed & cleaned each day during breakfast hours - when demand is greatest.

Excellent quiet hotel on the main road, close to all downtown eateries, shops - wonderful king size bed - a few minutes from Arches NP entrance! The breakfast and eating area is bright, lively and arranged forays conversation between multiple parties if needed. Free parking and excellent laundry room with new machines and dryers!

Stayed the week prior to Mem Day - the hotel is well located at the northern edge of town, a short ride from Arches. You could walk to town, but I found it easy enough to take a 3 minute drive. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel staff is very friendly. Very good breakfast buffet in the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Typical Hampton layout and rooms. All pretty satisfactory. But the breakfast was pretty poor and not up to Hampton standards. Warm food was cold, fruit look tired, area was crowded. Hotel location was convenient to Arches (4 miles) but then everything in Moab is convenient to the parks. But since the hotel is on the northern periphery of town, it's not ideally located. Not much in walking distance. So, at over $230/night I found this way overpriced. I'd try something else next time in the area.

This Hampton Inn is perfectly placed for easy access to Arches National Park and within walking distant to many restaurants and shopping. The rooms are comfortable & roomy ,include a refrigerator and free wifi and breakfast. Because of the location and this time of years rates are a bit steep but worth the overall advantages noted. Would recommend this hotel to antone interested in a clean, well situated room. The pool was very pleasant after a long day in the park.

We chose this hotel in Moab based on the previous ratings, while I am sure they may have been accurate, our stay was not as great. Upon arrival, one of our beds had dirt/grease on the bed cover and pillow of one of the beds. It took about 45 minutes to correct this issue. We were then informed it may have been due to the previous guest only using one bed the night before and staff not checking the second bed. Really? Chose this hotel because of the HH program and the price at the time of booking. We were in Moab once before 12yrs ago and needed a little refresher. The check in via mobile app was simple enough, but it was a little hard to see where the road and/or other undesirable areas were in relationship to the chosen room. We were lucky to get one at the end of the hall, so we believe it was quieter. Our room overlooked the pool and at first I wasn't sure I would like that. But actually it allowed us to ... Read more

I always choose to stay at a Hampton or Homewood Suites. Being the only Hilton product in town, we stayed here. Rooms were clean and hotel is well located. Hot breakfast was horrible. Food was either cold or out of stock. Outdoor pool was filthy, and kids couldn't swim in it. I'd recommend another option in Moab.... $250 per night should buy a better experience.

Highly desirable tourist area so room rates were very expensive, more than twice what I paid for far better Hampton Inn accommodations at seven previous stops across the company. Little things like cramped room, poorly placed electrical outlets, upside down shower door, shower soap dish would not hold provided soap and shampoo/conditioner bottles. It was not up to other Hampton Inn standards!

Great location in Moab, and surprisingly nice for a Hampton Inn. We were exhausted after hiking and checked in to a room already blessedly cool. Room was huge with scenic views. Overall the Hampton Inn in Moab is good, but still not worth the price due to the summer popularity of Moab. The room and facility was clean and the fitness room was excellent in comparison to other Hampton Inns. Unfortunately the pool was not refreshing since it was heated when there is no need for it to be heated when daily temperature is well over 100 degrees! The breakfast was standard, and staff kept it replenished with so many guests.

Look at my reviews and you'll see that I'm a bit of a Hampton Inn junkie -- I think they have the most comfortable beds in the industry, and this location did not disappoint. Breakfast was fairly typical and made it easy to grab something to eat before heading out for the day (rather than having to stop at a restaurant). The omelets when they did come out were rubbery, both waffle makers are broken, they couldn't be flipped. The batter was too thin and their was no Pam to spray on the griddle to keep the batter from sticking. The floor was so sticky you could hardly walk around. We'll be eating breakfast out tomorrow.

I had requested a portacrib and a kid friendly room when I made the reservation. We got a handicapped accessible room with no bathtub on the first floor, and even though I'd called the day before we arrived to confirm the portacrib, the clerks at the front desk were surprised because it wasn't noted on the reservation. There are a number of hotels to choose from in Moab and the competition's a good thing. This Hampton Inn is pretty much what you expect from this brand. Great location if you are visiting the parks. Good walking trail alongside the Colorado River very close to hotel. NO microwave in room!!!! Did have a refrigerator. Pillows were hard. I would try to find another place to stay.

I liked this hotel. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast area (although they need to be more on top of keeping up with replenishing the area especially when it gets busy) Close drive to Arches. Room was spacious and had nice little fridge. Slept very well here! Pool was really nice (just felt a little closed in behind the wall - maybe some more greenery? and another umbrella or two?). I would definitely stay here again!

Moab has gotten really big, really touristy, and really expensive. I used to stay at the cheap motels on the strip or even at the Apache, but they have gotten kind of dingy. This place was a very nice facility. My only complaint was the difficulty in finding a good parking space. Aside from that, I'd definitely stay here again. It's also within walking distance of the main drag, which is nice.

What sets this property apart is the people who work here!! As a business traveler, I prefer branded properties because of their consistency. This Hampton Inn is consistent with the many others I've stayed in - with the exception of the staff!! I've stayed here many times throughout the summer, and Kristina, Sara, Jamie, Rachel, and Daniel always greet with a smile, and provide great assistance with all my needs! Many times I've needed rooms on short notice, and my time there is always changin... Read more

Checked in, ate dinner, came back, and went to bed. About 100AM my wife woke me and told me the room was hot - it was hot. I tinkered with the wall thermostat and the buttons on the unit also (I have a long background in HVAC). Nothing worked. Put on my clothes and went to the front desk. Explained the problem. In a short while the night manager came up to our room and flipped some bypass switches. The unit came on and we had some semblance of A/C. The next morning, bright and early, t... Read more

Really enjoyed the hot tub after hiking Arches all day. What set this Hampton apart was the breakfast service in the morning. Martin shared his special green chili sauce with us. It was amazing on my eggs. Great to have some different options in the morning and to see the pride that Martin brings to the table.

Only spent one night but it was very quiet and had a typical Hampton experience. Requested a room away from the road and boy did we get one. Room 100 on the first floor is at the far east end of the building with nothing but a landscaped garden out the window. Love that you can flip a switch and have the A/C fan run continuously to cover any extraneous noise. The bath is shower only and we love not having to step into a tub. The shower head was supposed to be adjustable but was too hard to m... Read more

This is a newer property, so this means that the property is clean and stylish. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The downtown area is fairly close, so in a pinch one could walk to dining options. I would recommend finding somewhere other than the breakfast option included in the room rate. The breakfast was not good. I chose a bagel, took one bite of the stale bagel, and ended up throwing it away--couldn't be eaten. The hot breakfas... Read more

We stayed here one night recently while visiting Arches National Park. I checked in online and our key and room were ready when we arrived. Our room was clean and we had plenty of towels. The carpet looked a bit dingy though. The hotel is near a lot of restaurants, across the street from the gas station, and down the street from the grocery store (City Market). There's a fridge in the room but no microwave. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good and I always appreciate when a hotel ... Read more

We decided to staff at the Hampton Inn because they had handicapped accessible rooms which we needed. The rooms were clean. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was conveniently located close to downtown. The hotel was a basic chain hotel with no views but it met ours needs. Room rates were on the higher end ($250).

Everything was pretty much standard Hampton Inn. The biggest problem was too much furniture in the room. The chair was tucked in the corner and the wall across from the beds was just one piece of furniture after another. It looked like the furnishings were pre flat screens and mini fridges. The breakfast goes until 10. We went at quarter to 9 and it needed tending, the fruit was gone, and the waffle area a mess. Hamptons are usually a good value. However, this a time loud ventilation system motor noise was terrible, and couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was full. Staff did give us another room the next night and it was fine. The maintenance staff was very apologetic and quick to troubleshoot the issue, but not until the next day. The hot tub didn't work 2+ days. Parking lot lights didn't work for 2 nights, so when you arrive after 7:30 pm it is very dark in Moab, UT.

The front desk people were fine. The maids however were knocking on our door at 8 in the morning wanting to clean our room. We were still both sleeping and were both woken up. We stayed here for a day post-trip in the backcountry. We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The washers and dryers were very high quality, and constantly in demand, but I managed to have good timing for the one load I needed to do. I cannot comment on the breakfast, as we went out to a nearby cafe. It was really nice to be able to just park in the lot and wander around town. I would return here if in need of a hotel in Moab.

We stayed here in July. We used the hotel pool. It's a decent sized pool outside. There are chairs and some shady places to sit. The rooms were what we expected. Good beds and good showers. The breakfast was what we expected. They had boxed cereals which allowed us to have the kids have a snack at the hotel in the afternoon. They also have a bagged breakfast that you can grab on an early morning. We did this on the way to a hike.

Hampton Inns are practical, functional and generally nice but not extravagant. This one is no exception. Everything just works up to expectations. The breakfast has just enough variety. I was originally going to stay at the new Homewood Suites down the street but my corporate rate at the Hampton Inn was too good to beat, so the Hampton won. It's a typical Hampton (and as an HHonors Diamond member, I stay at many). Here's some random thoughts: - I found the Internet to be painfully slow. My room (310) was in the back corner of the hotel, so perhaps it had something to do with the location. I had the upgraded Internet access (free for Diamond members) and it was still horrib...
