Great place. Very simple, but very clean. Pool was clean, and warm. Location of motel is excellent. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in town. Perfect launching pad for exploring the greater Moab area.

We stayed a couple nights at the Bowen Motel in April. It was not fancy but had everything we needed and was centrally located. It had free Wi-Fi. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. We were interested in photographing Canyonland and Arches National Park. We wish we had stayed a week. So much to do and photograph.

This place is not fancy. But the rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. The friendly service is exemplary. Centrally located in town so easy to walk to shops & restaurants. (A totally cool coffee shop/cafe is practically attached.) If we get back to Moab, this is our first choice to stay.

Expensive for an older property but everything in Moab is expensive when it comes to lodging. Clean rooms, great water pressure for hot showers. On the north side of Moab before the traffic lights so it is convenient to get to Arches NP, Canyonlands Island in the Sky, and Dead Horse SP. Worked for us.

Friendly check in service, all employees were service oriented. The rooms are updated, clean with new flat screen TV's. Small pool on grounds, new electronic secured room door system (state of the art) Located to everything in downtown.

Great little motel on the main drag, convenient to restaurants and shopping. very neat and clean, great desk clerk. Gave recommendations and coupons for restaurants. Right on the street, but noise was not an issue. If we're ever in Moab again we would certainly stay here.

The motel was on Main Street which made it very easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The motel was clean and efficient with on site parking. We stayed 3 nights and managed to visit three National Parks - Arches,Canyonlands and Dead horse Point.

After reading that this was an "older" hotel, I expected it to look weary inside the room. This was not the case and was pleased by the size of our room, the great selection of tv channels and its cleanliness. Having not had the opportunity to travel for a number of years, the sticker price was a bit of a shock, but have learned that it is par for the course when motels are located so close to a national park. That being said, a light continental breakfast, given the cost, would have been a nice... Read more

We had a room on the first floor. It felt like being in some sort of dark basement. The room was clean. They also provided a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. When we stayed there, the weather was really hot and the air conditioner worked fine in terms of cooling the room but was it noisy!!!! I mean it was so NOISY that it felt like you had a helicopter flying in your room. This place was probably made for people who come back deadly exhausted from hiking the whole day long at the ... The rooms were adequate, very clean, and centrally located to downtown Moab. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Parking was good, the pool was great. Only issue was the vending machine was not working. We arrived early in the day and they were able to get us into our rooms early!

Myself and 2 friends were pleasantly surprised by the Bowen Motel. The staff was very friendly, and the motel was basic but clean. The best part was they sell rooms that have 3 queen beds!!! Having our own queen bed in the middle of a rugged trip was luxurious compared to our tent. Sure, its decor is kind of dated, but I really enjoyed the stay and think it offers high value for those travelling on a budget.

Well-maintained, clean room at a good price for the area. Pool area clean as well. We got 10% discount coupons for two nearby restaurants that were both nice. AC did a good job even on a hot night. But - weak, slow wifi. And I was surprised to see housekeeping knocking on doors and asking if guests wanted their rooms clean - at 8:30 AM.

The hotel is updated and exactly what you need if you are planning on visiting Canyonlands and Arches. It is located within walking distance to local restaurants and tourist shopping stores. It was very clean and the girl at the front desk was knowledgable and friendly. The room was a decent size for a motel.

We stayed at the Bowen Motel for 2 nights in July and were happy with it. The big plus for us was 3 queen beds in one motel room. Two were in the area near the door, while the other one was in a separate room that didn't have a door on it. It didn't make for total privacy but it gave us just a little more space and we didn't have to get 2 rooms or have someone sleep on the floor. The price for this room was less than what most other motels in town were charging for 2 queen beds. The room wa... Read more

This seemed to be one of the cheaper places to stay in Moab but at £100 per night it wasn't really what you would call a bargain. Fairly average rooms and amenities - they did have a small pool - also no breakfast included in the price unfortunately. Moab is a great location for Arches National Park and Canyonlands but I would choose another hotel for the money especially if you are planning to stay for a few days. Don't forget to visit Dead Horse Point for an amazing view. 100 miles away is Go... Read more

Not cheap but very close to Arches national Park. It is clean, has microwave and fridge in room and free wifi. Central position so handy for shops and diners. Also good for visiting Canyonlands which is often missed but shouldn't be as it is well worth visiting.

This motel is on the main street and is within walking distance of the entire downtown. Check in and out was easy. Rooms are spacious, clean, bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean. Room has a fridge and microwave. There is also an outdoor pool. If you are on a motorcycle, they have a dedicated area with towels and a hose specifically for bike washing. Prices are very reasonable. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was one of the more memorable experiences of staying in a hotel. The gal at the front desk was nice enough to give me her last room after I showed up really late. Strangely, the room had 3 beds in it. I guess it to Utah thing. Anyway they were all really comfortable and each had four pillows on them. It was just me staying there so it made jumping on the beds all the more fun.

We stopped in after visiting the Arches National Park. The room was quite large and clean. We had a first floor room and the persons above is did sound like they were doing aerobics in the morning which was an unfortunate wake up call. The hotel offers a pool (which we did not use), a car wash station, and ice/vending. They gave us coupons for 10% off at a local restaurant for dinner and breakfast but we did not use these.

Even though there was a limited amount of motel room available in the city, we thought than if we payed a ok prize we would get a ok room. But not, it was moist, dark and below average. Way overpriced.

The hotel is nicely located near lots of restaurants that you can walk to and only a few minute drive from parks. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There is no elevator (we had to carry all our baggage up the stairs) or breakfast (they give discount card for nearby cafe) so keep that in mind when booking.

We recently stayed here 5 days ago for 3 nights and I found it to be a great homtel to base ourselves to see the parks. First I must say the housekeeping was quick , neat and on the ball every day we were here and we never needed to ask for anything. The pool area was great for the arvo swim supplying towels with a wet drop off basket. There was a wash area for cars, and easy parking. This is the type of place where I would come back to it was safe, quiet, we were in a bottom floor room, a... Read more

Spent two nights in Moab on a whirlwind visit to Canyonlands and Arches parks. We flew in to the Moab airport and decided not to rent a car. Took a taxi (hard to get) to the motel and were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The hotel is within a block or two of the two different guided tour companies we used. Nice clean motel with a nice swimming pool. The person who checked us in was very helpful. Nice coin operated laundry room. Plenty of restaurants within three or four blocks

This is an older motel but was decent, clean and nice place to stay, fridge microwave and coffee maker. You are within walking distance of a lot of the shops and eateries in the area. We were there on a Saturday and everything was busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Outdoor pool, heated, we took a dip after shopping and eating. Situated on the main street within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. Has an outside swimming "pool" but it's not very big and is in a corner of the car park. Room was spacious enough and very clean, with a small fridge and microwave. Ideally situated for Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. No breakfast provided but you get vouchers for discounts at a couple of local eating houses. Be aware though that the discount is only available on the entree and not the total bill but it's be... If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Arches National Park. Hotel conveniently located a short 5 minute drive away from Arches. Very clean and comfortable room. TV was crystal clear, shower was spotlessly clean. When we originally booked our stay we had intended on only being in town 1 night. We arrived in Moab at about 9 in the evening, and we ended up taking a double queen bed room. It was clean and large, with everything we needed, from coffee and TV to towels, soap and dryer. All for a small price, that made us feel spoiled. The only small issue was the thin ceiling, which made noises all night from the ones staying above at every single step, but can't really blame the hotel for sleepwalkers. Would recommend.
