I got back at 10.30pm and my key didn't work. The office was closed and there was no contact information on the door. I knocked on doors and windows for 30 minutes....nothing. Luckily there were three of us and one of those three keys worked. I was about to knock the door down!!

This is a sweet motel. Exceptionally clean! In the middle to walk to everything in town. People at the desk are friendly and helpful. It is a little like going back in time because of being an older motel, but don't let that fool you. It adds to the culture of Kanab and why I came for my visit. We were wanting to experience the beauty around us with the "ole time" friendliness of a small town.

Like anywhere within day-trip distance of Grand Canyon, there are few cheap options in Kanab. But the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Small town, so everything is within walking distance. Nice continental breakfast included - fresh croissants!

This hotel is well located in the heart of Kanab. Rooms are easy to access, car can be parked right in front. Room was clean and bed confortable. A light breakfast was also available at the front desk, which was appreciated. A nice stop before visiting Zion National Park.

Checking in was smooth and easy. The location is pretty good with easy access to Zion National Park and under 2 hours from Bryce Canyon or Grand Canyon north rim. The only slightly unusual thing with the room was that the toilet and shower were in a room accessed from near the head of one bed, and the sink was in a corner of the main room at the other end. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. On the downside it's not cheap and the wifi was hit and miss.

We stopped off in Kanab for a night with no idea of what to expect. The rooms where simple, clean and quirky. The lady at reception was helpful and friendly. Coming from Australia, our night spent in Kanab was a delightful surprise.

Perfect. Just what we needed for a one night stay. I slept like a stone on the firm mattress and the room stayed cool all night. We were passing through Monument Valley on our way east and just needed a quiet place to rest. Lots of good info in the lobby.

Two years ago I stayed in Kanab so I could visit the Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley, I stayed at Aiken's Lodge and had a great experience. When I returned Yesterday to take in Zion and Bryce National Parks the decision on where to stay was an easy one...I went right back to Aiken's. While I like change and new experiences, I have found on the road that when you find a place that makes you feel at home, you should always return...Aiken's is one of those places (another is t... Nice lodge to stay while you are at Kanab. It's simple but all the set up was nice and clean even the building is old. The only thing was if you have bad neighbor is louder then the noise it's kind of annoying but other than that it was a nice two nites to stayed at Aiken lodge!

If you want an old, falling apart motel from the 60'th -this is the place . It features small low ceiling room dripping faucets, stained bathtub. A very noisy ,almost unbearable air conditioner that had to be on all night because of unbearable heat and poor isolation. Parking in front of the window - you get an early morning unsolicited wake up - when other people are leaving

Not often you'll find a motel with a supply of three bedroom suites. It's clean friendly and affordable. We had a small discrepancy in the room charges on our second suite, but not enough to be an issue. Busy in high season.

We had room 11. It had everything we wanted and a beautiful view of an interesting tree. The staff was warm and friendly. Great location to downtown. The best part was the strong wifi connection! My grandson loved to lay on the bed and watch TV. We all loved the pool too.

We spent one night in Kanab. We arrived about 6 PM. The room was cool, clean & free of bad smells. Our unit had 3 queen beds that were al comfortable. TV's in each area. There was no microwave or coffee maker in the room. Coffee was available after the office opened at 7AM. Overall, a good & affordable place to stay.

Located in the Main street. Rooms are not big but nice and clean. Also a nice swimming pool. The staff is not very friendly. Breakfast is coffee, tea, juice, cake and fruit, was ok. You have to take breakfast with you to your room. No separate breakfast room available.

Great spot to visit Coral Pink Sand dunes State Park. Old motel that has been renovated. The 3 bedroom is very comfortable. Nice pool. Friendly staff. We recommand this place for a night or two. Kanab is a nice little town. Escobar's mexican restaurant is a great place for lunch or diner.

We travel through Kanab annually and like to stay at this motel. It was remodeled this year and is comfortable and attractive. Within walking distance of downtown restaurants. No breakfast is offered, but there was coffee and a nice sweet bread in the lobby.

Old style motel but good value for money. Good size rooms around a courtyard with a pool the other side. We didn't use the pool as we arrived late so can't review it. Check in staff were very helpful. Bathrooms were a bit of a let down. Great location in Kanab which is a good place to stop between Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon.

Our family decided last minute to go to Kanab for the labor day weekend. The hotels were completely sold out. We took a chance on Aikens Lodge out necessity. The price was low and included breakfast. I hadn't stayed in a motel for years. The facility looked as if it was built in the 60s. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Location was right in town for easy walking to restaurants. Overall not a bad budget option.

I count on honest reviews on TA when I book. I think the rating for this property was approximately 4.3/5. Crazy. The room was barely large enough for two and the bathroom only one. The a/c is a loud room unit and your view is your car in the parking lot. Be sure to book on the ground floor as there is no elevator or help for heavy bags. On the brighter side, if it's swimming weather there's a pool. The staff are very nice and the room has a fridge and plenty of outlets for devices. Free... Read more

We were given one of the apartments with views to the main rocks in the reserve, and it was a excellent place to stay. The light at sunset and dawn made the location and place worth the visit. The apartment was very clean and ir had everything you might need. Make sure you get views!

We were driving through Utah visiting the National Parks and chose Aikens Lodge as an overnight stop. The Lodge is in the heart of town within very easy walking distance of good restaurants and the shops. The units are very clean and tidy and have everything we needed. The air conditioning worked well which is important in this part of the country. If thats not enough there is a nice pool which is deep and cool. The lodge also has a well equipped laundry. Lots of tourist information in the of... Read more

It's clean, Wi-Fi works well, and reasonably priced. Nothing is spectacular, but you can't complain about anything either, so it's really a solid place to stay. I will say this: the lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful when I asked her for lodging options on the other side of Zion, so extra star for that. It's roughly a half hour from Zion, but be aware that you'll still have to drive to the other side of the park to get to the campgrounds and shuttle stops. My memory is fuzzy... Read more

Arrived around 9:30 pm and the receptionist was very helpful and kind. We had a great night's sleep in a clean room on a comfy bed. The bathrooms are small but clean. Was surprised at the high price considering other places I stayed that week that offered bigger, newer rooms with full breakfasts.

Stayed at Aikens Lodge for two nights while exploring Zion Canyon. I was really pleased with it - good sized room, really clean, and all the usual things (TV, fridge, amenities), were working perfectly and of good quality. I slept really well here, in a room (28) that was far enough off the road for complete silence at night, and a really comfortable bed. The location is great - just a few steps away from restaurants and shops, and with a beautiful view from the front of the motel. I love... Read more

This is a clean, basic roadside hotel in the middle of town. The rooms have a fridge, and there is a microwave in the lobby. The rooms were bare but clean and simple, and there is free wi-fi. There is a pool, and guests have access to the hot tub at the Best Western next door.

My husband and I arrived in Kanab after a long day of driving to find that all hotels were full in the area. The staff at Aikens had no availability but tried different hotels in the area for us. They even call the next town to see if there was anything available there to no avail. They then called the Purple Sage B&B and found the last room in town for us. Even though we did not stay here the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it... Read more

Kanab was the hub of a recent hiking trip in the Southwest. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each morning we would leave for places beyond and we would come back each evening with confidence in our home away from home. There was plenty of coffee and fruit each morning. Pastries were also available. Restaurants were next door, around the corner, or down the block. Drug store was a block away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If I were ever traveling to Kana... The Aiken's Lodge is a very basic, no frills place to stay. The location is central to many area activities. Our room with a king-sized bed was large enough. The motel is old and dated. Good housekeeping! The shower was phone booth size. The mini fridge is indeed mini. No microwave in the room. Cars are parked outside your window with tight parking spaces. Considerable traffic noise from the highway, so it would be best to request a room further back. There are a few restaurants within walking d... Read more
