Stopped for a single night on a recent road trip and found the Cedar City Hampton Inn to be consistent with the standards expected. We had a junior suite with a king bed and the room was large and very pleasant. The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was included, and was ok, but not as good as those I have had at some other Hampton's. Overall it was better than average and we would stay again.

I stay in hotels on average once a week. This one is average. Be aware--NO hot tub. Pool is ok. Free breakfast was actually tasty. Location is convenient--you can walk to shopping, sushi, and American food type restaurants.

The hotel is clean and located around many of the top Yelp restaurants in the area. Stick with the waffles for the breakfast. Staff was pleasant and checked us in before the normal check in time. I wish the room had a microwave.

Good location if you are visiting the national parks in southern Utah. Still about an hour drive to Zion, however if you want to stay right at Zion you will pay double to triple the price for a room. Typical Hampton Inn rooms that were clean and comfortable.

This is, hands down, my favorite hotel chain. Period. There is no close second. Why? -- The bed is always comfortable; this one was as comfortable as any I can remember. -- The room is always clean, and this one was very much so. -- The staff wasn't ACTING friendly, they genuinely were. -- The breakfast (from 0600 - 1000) was very good, with the hot things being hot and the cold things being cold. Hamton Inn has never let me down -- in over 10 years of stays, and I cannot imagine it will happen... Read more

No value here. Smallest and most expensive Hampton we have ever been in. Breakfast was OK. Very disappointed. We were so looking forward to being in a nice Hampton. Especially after the Motel 6 . But it was smaller. Was told it was s special built Hampton. Very few in the country. Should be marked as such.

We stopped here for the night, before traveling to Bryce Canyon National Park before two days of exploring the park. We also discovered that Cedar City was only 20 minute drive to the north end of Zion National Park so we backtracked to Zion to take advantage of sights in Kolob Canyon.

We sought a central location to stay for visits to both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. This location was near both (closer to Zion) and offered clean, updated rooms with free breakfast. The breakfast was standard fare--nothing unusually good or bad. The property was near I-15 and numerous restaurants in Cedar City. It served as a good base for multiple visits to Zion after our one day in Bryce. About a 20 min. drive to Kolob Canyon in Zion. A bit pricey for a Hampton and bumped to ve... Read more

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cedar city because of the location between National Parks. Hotel was clean, rooms somewhat small but comfortable. Only had Queen bed rooms available.. Otherwise as expected for Hampton Inn. The local Area has very little to offer in the way of restaurants, mostly fast food or chains. No refrigerator in room.

One of the worst Hilton properties I have ever stayed in. The room was clean (and small). However, the room was quite noisy with lots of noise coming from people walking above. Wifi service did not work well (never able to update e-mail). The staff tried to help, but it didn't fix the problem. Breakfast was good.

Hampton Inns should go back to preparing their free breakfasts from scratch. People stay there because of it, but they will think twice about that choice if they have to eat frozen/reheated eggs, etc. They have enough help in their kitchens to do better. It doesn't take that many people or that much time to prepare a decent breakfast.

In a word? Average. From the tired, dated rooms - BAD carpet, shower, bed, everything - to the crappy service (more on that later), the hotel is just one word -average. It is NOT the best value in Cedar City and is NOT a Top 10 hotel in Cedar City. Stay anywhere else. Crappy service example: Our room was not cleaned until, at 5 pm, we specifically asked the front desk to have someone clean our room. This hotel is not the typical Hampton Inn. Rooms are very congested, one chair, poorly designed bathroom, no microwave or refrigerator, pool had dead bugs floating in it.
