I went with a church group to this place. Everyone was polite and nice. Very accommodating. The rooms were nice. But if you go into the bathrooms off of the main banquet rooms, you notice they look a little long in the tooth. Also, having food allergies, I always not only call before hand to alert kitchen staff of those allergies, but check when there right before eating. Had the food on the plate and in my hand, when I noticed the friendly chef and asked him once again if the food was peanut ... Read more

This room was NOT a "suite". There is a room attached you can't get into. There was no microwave (they brought one in), no remote (never got one), no dishwasher (we didn't need one anyway), the wifi was horrible, and yes the beds were hard but we slept good. Our friends in another cottage had coffee but no coffee cups. What I don't understand is this was a nice room and worth the $89 why they don't just write an accurate ad. When we complained about it they blamed tripadvisor & priceline for... Read more

The WORST maintained golf course I have ever been too. Thankfully it was free for the both of us. Total waste of time and money to come golf here. The bunkers and green we were terrible condition. The fairways seemed like the rough. The houses in the neighborhood had better looking lawns than the golf course. Just terrible I do not recommend this course to anyone.

Put a professional into cleaning this property up and this place would be amazing. Simple things in our cottage just didn't get done. You could tell the floors were not swept or cleaned, mold in showers, broken kitchen cabinets. The outside patio had broken and dirty furniture and 2 chairs were old worn out indoor dining room chairs. They belonged in the dumpster, not under a patio overlooking the golf course. They could have paid someone to run a leaf blower for 24 hours and it would look 100 t... Read more

They have nice cottages with separate bed rooms and bath with full kitchen and nice living room with sliding doors to a patio. They will provide you with a grill upon request. Pick up trash by the drive way. Only down side they is a room that in the same cottage that can be looked off and rented to a stranger or you can pay more and rent the entire cottage. The person that stayed next us was very quit and we had no problems. If in the area check it out. I would stay there again. It is a large ga... Read more

A mixed residential and temporary stay "resort community" with a golf course and built in the 70's. The residential areas are okay, but the "hotel" section is not. There is no seal around the doors, and the maids leave the doors open when making up the rooms - with the insects in South Texas! The maintenance is noticeably lacking. The rest follows in like manner.

Love these remodeled cottages. We are eight families came together and everybody having blast. Any time will stay here. Like the concept of staying in cottages. It's like staying at home. Huge bedrooms.

We were a group of 30 on a one day stay. The place was large enough to accommodate 8 families with each having their own two bed bedrooms. Kids in the group especially enjoyed the ball courts and the bike rentals. Adults enjoyed the trails. They even arranged a firepit for the evening upon requesting. We enjoyed the stay.

Columbia Lakes Resort is a very nice place to take a break from your daily routine. Recommend for families and kids and friends. Cottages are clean, remodeled and large bedrooms with attached bath. We were a group of 32 people stayed in cottages. Kids had a blast as well as adults also. Played volleyball, golf cart rides, bike ride and jogging. During our stay, the staffs were very accommodating and helpful. I will visit this place again when get a chance.
