Absolutely great hotel. 1. The hotel is beautiful and clean 2. The staff is so friendly and accommodating 3. It is a great location if you need to get anywhere in Waco. Big shout out to Aydan who made our stay so very enjoyable. He was literally everywhere we went in the hotel to extend a helping hand with our dinner order, to make us laugh, to give Us directions and numerous other things. Aydan was amazing! Great employees. Great hotel. Will stay again if ever back in Texas!

Never in my travels have I been treated so poorly. On a business trip traveling with a large group, the maids were the only accommodating staff in the entire hotel. My group and I were constantly asked to leave the lobby due to our size, staff specifically did not make food to accommodate us. Our group made every effort to work with staff, notifying the of our plans with plenty of time to spare. Members of my group were targeted by the manager and front desk staff and treated with noticeably ... Read more

The hotel now has a new manager Brittany, who is one of the friendliest people you could meet. She has brought freshness and new life to the hotel which was very much needed. Some of the additions are real bacon for breakfast, improved variety of snack in the shop, iced fruit water at reception and a "special" hand cleanser in the restrooms. The staff all seem to have responded positively to the new infusion of life here. Housekeeping has improved, and any issues are quickly dealt with in a fri... Read more

If you are in the Waco area for any event which involves Baylor University, I would strongly suggest looking into the location of this establishment. There are also many locations which are within walking distance, if by some chance you are visiting during the cooler months of the year.

Nicely appointed room within walking distance to Magnolia Market, restaurants and shopping. Had a nice kitchen which we didn't use except for the ice maker. Would use it if I were on a budget but we enjoyed eating out.

We stayed here one night for our daughters' college graduation from Baylor. The room was like a small apartment with a small, FULL kitchen with a dining table for 2, a sectional sofa with fold out bed, a king bed, and a large dressing area outside of the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the full breakfast was a bonus. The hotel has a nice work-out area and an indoor pool. There is a very spacious "get together" area in the lobby with lots of tables and chairs. We have never ... Read more

We stayed here on our first girls weekend and would highly recommended it to anyone. The hotel was much nicer then expected and the location to everything was perfect! But what makes this the best hotel of all is the staff, especially the General Manager Brittany Walker. Upon arrival after a three hour drive, I discovered I had left my cell phone in a store restroom, when I told Brittany of my problem, she found the store number, called it for me and even went and picked up my phone for me. ... Just returned from our stay here and we already miss everyone there!! Miss Sonita was such a sweet and friendly face to see each morning at breakfast!! Everyone there was friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable, just like home away from home. You're walking distance to Magnolia, and literally minutes away from all that Waco offers!! My kids (14 and 9) and I visited, looking to possibly relocate from California.....they were ALL sad to leave!! Until next time Residence Inn Waco!!!

We are in a new phase of life where we have to account for two kids when choosing a hotel. Residence Inn Waco was ideal for our trip. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They addressed me by name on several occasions. Room is nice, but not spectacular. We got a 2BR suite. The HVAC system was pretty loud, but that was good for us (inherent white noise for our baby). Free breakfast, an indoor pool, and multiple grills are available for guest use. The location is convenient to man... Read more

We stayed here last night. We were here to visit Baylor. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and the clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast is a big plus! You can make your own little waffles. The rest of the hot breakfast was very good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, grits, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, and that doesn't even cover the whole offering. To top it off they have the most friendly custodian who offered a warm "Good morning!" You can't start off your day an... Read more

We stayed here for one night with our two small dogs. Room was very clean. We got a room with king size bed but the bed wasn't as comfortable as the beds at other Marriott's hotels we had stayed. Free breakfast is always included at the Residence Inn and we enjoyed our breakfast as always. Nice grassy area outside to walk our dogs. The hotel is located at a good location that is very close to Waco Suspension Bridge, Magnolia Market and Baylor University.

We were pleased with our room. More room for 3 than a regular hotel. Breakfast was wonderful with some variety each day. The room was clean and the kitchen was stocked with enough cooking utensils and dishes.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. Our room was a suite with a living area, kitchen, and separate bedroom with bathroom. We didn't use the kitchen but could have if we wanted with all the dishes provided. There is a nice selection of a complimentary breakfast but can get crowded if busy. The free breakfast helped on our budget. There was a lite leagues baseball group staying there also but was never a problem other than more people at breakfast. They have an indoor pool and hot... I stayed here for a writing getaway. It was very pleasant. Similar to a studio apartment, there was plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable! It was nice to have a kitchen, so I could fix my own meals. This site was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Walking distance to Magnolia Market. Great service, clean room. We got upgraded to a suite with 2 rooms which was perfect since we traveled with our 6 month old and it was supposed to be an anniversary trip. Would stay here again if visiting Waco.

The room was spacious and equipped with a kitchenette. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Magnolia Silos, which was nice. Only down thing to the stay was the mattress was too firm. Did not have a good night's sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay. Asst. Manager on duty really attentive and personable. Great value, great place to stay. We really enjoyed the room it had a comfortable couch and the kitchen had real spoons for us to use to eat our ice cream we got at the front desk.

I stay at the Residence Inn Waco around 50 or more days per year. My room is always clean and ready. Jerrica at the front desk greets with a smile and gets me right to my room quickly. Sonita always has a great breakfast ready to go in the morning and a "good morning" greeting. They are just a few of the great employees at this Marriott property. Its a older hotel and needs a facelift, but the staff makes it feel like my 2nd home!

The staff at this property is amazing!! My daughter stayed here for over a month when her apartment flooded. I stayed with her on several different occasions helping her to find a new place to live and deal with all the issues of a flood. My daughter is in Law School at Baylor and was just starting her final exams, the staff not only encouraged her everyday, saying stuff like "you are so smart", "you are going to do great". They made sure she had all the coffee she needed. They also help us in ... Read more
