Good clean hotel! Someone was always cleaning. Nice room, polite staff, good breakfast (waffles, eggs, fruit, etc). Breakfast bar was well stocked. Comfortable beds, soft towels - good room. Good rate. Convenient location. Close to Starbucks. Right off the highway yet quiet.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, one of our rooms reeked of cigarettes, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. We requested another room and they did accommodate. The general condition of the hotel was very run down. I would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Waco.

Pleasant experience on arrival with the personal interest shown by desk clerk, The room was great. the bed was just right, the only thing missing was a sink in the small kitchen area. Breakfast was very good lacking only a meat choice, Like a sausage biscuit or something similar. rate of 9 on a 10 scale.

This hotel is just an average place to stay for the price. Not super clean, not super fancy but not filthy either. They had what appeared to be a nice size pool and people were using it, we were in town for a graduation and did not go into the pool area, just saw it driving by.

Easy to get to and close to everything. Front desk staff were the best! If you like to sleep in, bring ear plugs - grounds keepers start early! Nicely refurbished hotel. Needs protein options for breakfast - plenty of carbs available if that's your thing.

We were overall pleased with this hotel. We were in town for a softball camp at Baylor and knew we would not be at the hotel much. We needed a clean room with basic amenities and that is what we got. I knew this was not a luxury hotel when I booked it. The price was so much better than the other hotels around. We probably paid half the price we would have elsewhere. I do recommend this hotel to others looking for a clean simple hotel room with average comforts. We got a a suite with 2 double bed... Read more

We had reservations for two nights but left after just one. We had three problems and would have lived with any two of the three but not all three. We had our dog that is afraid of stairs with us. I called the morning before arriving and asked for a first floor room. I was told none were available - they were all reserved. Before our previous visit I requested a first floor room on line and was told they could not guarantee it so how were the first floor rooms reserved the time? My husband had ... Read more

The location of this property was easy to walk to Baylor campus. Breakfast looked adequate, but ate elsewhere. This property definitely has a "Motel" feel when you see it. I was hoping for a Interior room property and it is a Exterior room entry. You can hear the highway from the rooms. Could improve & update the bedding selections.

Great location in relation to Baylor campus. Thought we were staying in a hotel, but was a drive-up Motel instead. Property is pretty old. Probably would not want to stay there alone. Beds were comfortable. Black-out curtains in rooms kept it nice and dark until we wanted to get up. Be sure to request a room that does not face the highway.

Super clean and very usable for road trip overnight stay. Amenities are a little dated, and bathroom fixtures are classic for older hotel. Given the area, near Baylor University, it's true to the age of all the other buildings in the area.

This is definitely an older model LaQuinta. Needless to say, the place is very dated. The positives... Room seemed larger than the newer hotels. Rooms were clean and amazingly everything worked as expected. VERY close to Baylor University. This would be a good alternative for a relatively inexpensive overnight stay while visiting Baylor. The not-so-positives... The swimming pool was an absolute joke unless you are into the Baylor green colored water. It was quite disgusting to even drive by th... Read more

Stayed one night on our way back home but the room was comfortable and the location very convenient from the I-20. Pet friendly hotel where Pets stay free which was our primary reason for selecting La Quinta. This is an older property that needs an update. In its current state, it is not a good value. Pluses: It's next door to the Baylor Campus - everything on Baylor is in walking distance. The staff was great. The exterior looks good. The furniture and linens were serviceable and clean. It includes a beautiful flat-screen with digital channels. Minuses: the room was smelly and stained. Although this hotel is close to the ever so popular Magnolia Farms & Baylor University it would not be our first choice next time. This hotel is outdated, unclean, & unkept. Hotel was somewhat older with some rooms updated and others in need of repair or clean up. There is a coffee shop and ice cream shop next door. Unfortunately the coffee shop had a band playing outside in an open courtyard the night we were there and our room faced the courtyard. They were not too loud but the drum beat was constant and irritating. Felt staff should know when bands are scheduled and advise us of this. The band had a $10 cover charge and was for the Baylor University students.
