We stayed here one night while visiting Magnolia Market. We really enjoyed the hotel a lot. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice. Our room was clean, had plenty of towels, and had a big shower. Plus, it's just right down the road from the silos. Definitely will stay there again if we return to Waco.

The room was very spacious with laminate or hardwood floors and it was clean. The k-cup coffee maker was appreciated. The staff was very helpful, we asked to change rooms when we realized that our room was over the entry to the hotel and the background music could cause a sleep disruption, (I'm a very light sleeper). The pool and spa are terrific with some of it shaded from the elements. We did not try the hotel restaurant but it is highly rated and it did fill up when the game started. I'd stay... Read more

Beautiful hotel - very clean with couteous and responsive staff. Mix up in reservations was quickly solved by Front Desk (Crystal -Thanks!) Bar/Bistro area is open and well designed. Room was large and very clean. Beds are super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to Magnolia Silos.

The room is very nice. Bathroom is great, LARGE shower with a handheld shower head. The room seemed to be newly re-done. The beds weren't the most comfortable I've ever slept in but they were ok. Another guest suggested the hotel upgrade their pillows and I would agree. No carpet, which can be a plus! We had a little trouble with the wifi, but a phone call put it all straight. And we had to call to get our room made up. So all in all, it was a nice place to stay.

Located near the Baylor campus, this is a comfortable, inviting hotel. Staff was welcoming and generous in providing additional shampoo when requested at check in. Rooms were ample size and very comfy, with an oversized chair and ottoman, desk with sub slots in the desk lamp, charger cable on one night stand and phone charger on the alarm clock, on the other night stand. I liked the wood flooring vs carpeting one usually funded in hotel rooms. Large shower, with nice tiles work in there too. ... Read more

We were in town for graduation at Baylor. We usually stay at the Hilton, however we were told that the Indigo was better. It lived up to every recommendation. The rooms were great, the staff were pleasant. The restaurant was our big surprise. Our server was Jerry and he was amazing. The food was better than most of our brunch spots in Dallas. Great job Indigo. We will be back.

This hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the staff is excellent. We paid a bit extra when we booked to get the breakfast included. It is well worth the money. The breakfast is fantastic. We also went down to the restaurant for drinks both nights we were there and again the wait staff is just fantastic. Parking is plentiful as well and it is very close and walking distance to most everything in the downtown Waco area.

We wanted to get out of Austin for a couple of days, so we headed to Waco and this hotel seemed to have the best location and amenities. We booked an executive king and loved the room. It was roomy and appointed nicely. A couple of details that we loved were the curtains that had overlapping tracks to keep daylight out and toilet paper that was thick like back home. Also, the restaurant in the hotel served a very tasty and innovative breakfast that I heartily recommend. I definitely recommend s... Read more

With our daughter at Baylor we have stayed in most hotels in the area, but have found our new favorite. We made a last minute trip to visit and was able to book at this awesome hotel. Our room was stylishly decorated and impeccably clean. Check- in was a breeze even though we were early they let us check in. Spent the evening around the simple and elegant pool with the family. Apparently the restaurant is one of the best in the area. We already had plans for dinner but will surely try it on our n... Read more

This hotel is very nice. It has first class accommodations. The lobby is beautiful and the room was one of the nicest we have visited. The floors in the room are hardwoods and that is a first time for us to find that in our hotel rooms. The location is central and close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Indigo at Baylor in Waco TX!

If you are looking for the Holiday Inn, this isn't it. The rooms are larger, more luxurious, with nicer decor in every area. The bathroom is also nicer than the Holiday Inn, as is the shampoo, etc. The Keurig has better choices, and the Front Desk encourages looking over the supply offered next to the fresh snacks, to see if you want anything for your room. The restaurant on site is surprisingly good, whether at breakfast or dinner. We will definitely stay here again, when we come back to ... Read more

Hotel Indigo is a real find in downtown Waco. The room rate was almost unbelievable with location and amenities offered for the price. We had dinner at the hotel bar last night, after our original decision to go elsewhere for dinner. The ambiance was pleasant and the barkeeper was appropriately attentive. That won us over and we decided to stay. We shared the 50/50 burger and it was plenty for two. They even brought it on two plates with no additional plate charge. I define little recommend eat... We stayed at Hotel Indigo in Waco,TX for two nights on our road trip from California. Our purpose in Waco was to check out Magnolia Farms and the Silos since my mom and I are huge fans of Fixer Upper on HGTV. This hotel is ideally located walking distance from Magnolia which is quite handy because parking near Magnolia is $10 and ppl were parking on the street by our hotel so the hotel has great local if Magnolia is a destination for you. If it is other things you are in town for, I found this h... Read more

This was a nice find in the historic downtown Industrial area of Waco. Not much to do at night except their great Modern lounge bar. Not a neighborhood to Walk around at night. Great location to walk to the Spice village 3 blocks easy during daylight and short drive or long walk to Baylor U. The rooms are nice, but amenities in the room are lacking: no robes, no safe for valuables?? No sundries bar or refrigerator (note food is in the lobby but had issues with the take go cheese plates, the plat... Read more

Room was great had Keurig coffee machine, large bathroom with great shower. Bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. Especially nice after a long shopping day! We loved everything about this hotel from the lobby's fun retro vibe with beatiful bathroom (with sea salt hand scrub) to the open layout of the restaurant to the clean very comfort room with the large bathroom and walkin shower. The Indigo will make you feel anything but blue. This is a boutique property with all the feel of a luxury property. The beds are comfortable, it's clean and fresh, the feel is contemporary and modern and the service is excellent. Don't waste your money on something less than, when you can have greater than.

We were in Waco to visit the Magnolia Market and needed an overnight stay. I did not expect such nice rooms and I was positively surprised. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to the Magnolia Market. The rooms were nice: large, clean and looked new. Free WLAN and a pool that was OK (a little too cold for me, but that's just me). If I go again to Waco, I probably would stay at this Hotel again.

Love that this hotel is so close to Baylor campus, close enough to walk. Stayed here for Baylor Homecoming Weekend. Beautiful spacious rooms -- clean and comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly. Pool, hot tub and work out facility on-site. Nice lunch menu. Bar was fun and lively at night!

As experienced travelers, we appreciate common sense and reasonableness in pricing. Normally, these typical Holiday Inn (Same chain owns this property thru a franchise) rooms are priced at about $160-$190. Because this was Homecoming they raised the rates to $530 a night! We stayed anyway, as we had booked it during the summer. When we got there, I noticed the price had gone down. I asked for the lower price and the manager started yelling at me about what a great deal we had. No other hotel in ... Read more

The room was clean, decor was pretty, and staff were friendly. The only negatives were: the shower smelled a bit musty (not the whole bathroom, just the shower stall) and the hot tub was not hot (it was not even warm). The staff was not able to turn on the hot tub heater once informed of the non-warm temperature.

Very clean, spacious, well appointed room with comfortable bed and linens. Love the over-sized shower, instead of a tub. Courteous staff. Bought a package that included breakfast, and was pleased to find that it was order from the menu, not buffet. Easy adjacent free parking and convenient location.

This was my first stay at a property from the Hotel Indigo collection, and it was superb. I'm not sure what I was expecting exactly, but I was pleasantly surprised for some reason. Maybe it's because I don't stay at IHG hotels often, and if I must they're usually Holiday Inns. And those are fine, but this is truly an excellent hotel. I probably won't be in Waco again anytime soon. But if I am, I definitely plan to stay here.

DO NOT GIVE HOTEL INDIGO A DEPOSIT!!! We planned a trip to Waco to see relatives and go to a Baylor game. Because of scheduling problems we had to cancel the trip and when I called Hotel INDIGO eight days in advance to cancel, they refused to return my deposit on two rooms. This cost us over $900! I would understand a 24- hour cancellation policy like every other hotel, but they said their policy was 10 days! Will never consider Hotel INDIGO again!!!
