I was in Waco to announce a track meet. The group I work for had me booked at the Comfort Suites North, but when I got there somehow I wasn't on the list. I called my contact and he was able to get me in at this hotel. Wound up a good thing. It's located near Scott and White. It's a very new hotel with slightly more modern technology. The business centers had Mac's and I-pads for use. The key used RFID rather than a magnetic strip. I got a disability access room so the bathroom was a little odd,... Read more

Beautiful lobby, very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed a cup of coffee as I was waiting for the rest of my family to come and eat breakfast. Even though it was a busy weekend the way the lobby is designed you can have your own little space and feel comfortable. Ahhh rest!

I loved the location, breakfast, saltwater pool, and cleanliness of the hotel. There was plenty of food for everyone. The short walk to the pond/park was amazing. The pool was warm and clean. I will return.

Stayed here this week for a conference in Waco. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They have an indoor saltwater pool and a really good full breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, cinnamon rolls and other stuff. Our room was very clean and nice, the air worked well and everything was well maintained. Lamps had 2 plugs on each of them, which is great for phone charging and computer use. Nice desk and an additional chair in r... Read more

We stayed here for the Starburst Junior Golf Tournament and it could not have been a better location as it was just minutes from Cottowood Creek Golf Course and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Very clean and helpful staff.

This hotel is very accessible for families that want to visit Baylor. It is located just off of I35 in a quiet and safe area. Great places to dine at are just a short drive away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again in the future.

My husband and I along with our 2 yr old granddaughter spent one night here. Our room was spacious, clean, had a small refrig- that we used for sippee cups for grand girl. Breakfast was delicious- had a great variety of foods- and our granddaughter loves the pancake machine. Staff was friendly and very helpful when we asked about places to eat that would be small child friendly-- lots of shops, resturants within a few miles. We called about an hour before getting to th e area to get a room.

Stayed three nights and in spite of the hot water being out for two days, the hotel gave us enough points for a free night. Very clean, very comfortable beds, and very accommodating staff. The breakfast was okay but not great. The location was very close to things to do and convenient. There is a pool, laundry and workout room. Would stay again definitely.

Room was super clean, comfortable bed and even had a KEURIG coffee maker in the room! Every interaction with the staff was very professional and everyone was super helpful! I had a miscommunication prior to my arrival that resulted in having to speak with a manager who was so professional and even followed up with me the next day to ensure that all was well and that my stay was satisfactorily. Location was walking distance to several good restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel.

Came to Waco for the weekend and stayed at this Holiday Inn. The staff was attentive to every detail and courteous. The room was perfect for our needs. We had 2 TV's which was perfect for half of our family watching the Olympic Opening ceremony's and the other half kids programming. Very clean and seemed new. I loved the wall that looked like leather. I called down to the front desk for linens when we decided to use the pull out couch bed for our daughter. They politely said linens were av... Read more

This is a new modern hotel. Friendly staff , fast check in. Spacious room. King bed was great for my 6'2" husband. We relaxed in a nice walk in shower. Good location, close to restaurants and highways. Nice pool area and workout room. Clean hotel. Breakfast was normal but satisfying for hotel food. Lounging space was open plenty of tables and chairs.

I did not ask, but I'm thinking this hotel must be pretty new. It was very clean. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful with our questions. Good restaurants close by. Also, a lovely little park with walking track close by. Great location. I did not see a pool here, but a large outdoor courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. I thought that was a little strange, but maybe people use it when booking for large groups . . . ?? Don't know.

As someone who travels constantly for my job, I can confidently recommend this hotel for anyone in need of a place to stay. The hotel is new and modern which will appeal to those looking to enjoy a more tasteful experience. The rooms are spacious and come with all the necessities for someone staying a night or even those who are long term stays. There is no noise from a ice machine down the hall in the middle of the night or music blaring too loud from the lobby as you might find in other establ... Read more

We loaded in Waco Friday afternoon and wanted to wait till Monday for more freight so we stayed at the holiday Inn. They let me park my semi unit with the trailer in they're lot. Rooms where Super clean and the staff was top notch! I would come back. The only down side would be it's a bit put of the way for down town activities. All in all, very well put together.

We loved our stay in the hotel. We had a ground floor room and didn't hear a sound. There were several families with children and never heard a sound. The decor of the hotel is gorgeous, very log cabin. They severed a very nice continental breakfast. Right next door is a very nice restaurant - Adventures. The food and the service were excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel!

This Hotel was just awesome! The place looked brand new. The Rooms were so cozy and Modern. My wife and I had a one room suite with a sofa and 2 TV's. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was normal for Holiday Inn Express. There were large trays available to take breakfast up to my wife, who doesn't want to get up to early. Waco's Freeways are very different. We always has to use the access roads to get around. Highly recommend this hotel.

Several family members and I flew to Waco to watch my nephew's football game at Baylor University. We arrived at the hotel two hours before check-in time, knowing it was likely we wouldn't be able to drop off our luggage and freshen up. But the staff was wonderful and let us check into the rooms that had already been cleaned. The hotel was spotless. We saw a few employees doing touch-up painting in the hallways, and other employees sweeping small debris in the parking lot and lobby. There is... Read more

This hotel was built quickly and fails to meet the minimum expectations set by the brand. It looks nice, which hides major design and management flaws. The beds were rock hard, the air conditioner continually reset itself, making the room too warm, and the bathroom door opens toward the hallway, meaning that I accidentally flashed people in the hallway when my wife opened the door. This could have been avoided if the door simply opened the other direction, like you're likely to find in oth... Read more

We stayed here two nights. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived. Almost seemed disingenuous. Our room was on the first floor and was quite large. The bed was a little more firm than we would prefer, but the biggest downer was the noise coming from adjacent rooms. The first night the television in the next room sounded as if it was in our room. Fortunately, it was turned off at 11:00pm and the rest of the night was quiet. The second night however, the problem was not the television. It wa... Read more

Good news... Check-in was pleasant. Hotel was beautiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area large and roomy. Bad news... Walls are paper thin. At 5am on Sunday, we were awakened by the blaring alarm clock next door in an empty room! Had to call the front desk to finally get it turned off. Both of us were wide awake by then. Rooms are pricey. Multiple reservations were booked by a friend as a group and all rooms were to be charged to his one credit card. At check-in, we had to giv... Read more

I would like to start out saying we travel all across the states , we had to head to Waco for a funeral for this trip. First of all this is a new hotel 2years new to the date we arrived , super clean , very nice and clean rooms , which is what is expected , but we had a small issue, I thought the suites had a separate door for room privacy (not a big deal )some linens were left in a room when we checked in ( again not a big deal we travel and have had worse happen ) what was out of the ordinary... From the moment you walk into the hotel, the front desk staff is friendly, warm and efficient. The décor of the hotel and the room is new and fresh. I had an executive king size room on the 4th floor and it was perfect. The room size was perfect with room to move around. The bathroom was also the perfect size. I loved that the shower actually had an area that was large enough to hold all of my shower items in one spot inside the shower. I travel quite a bit and I have to say that the bed w... Read more

I came to Waco for a lengthy business trip and decided to stay at the hotel because it was conveniently located on the south side of town, next door to a great Mexican restaurant named Chuy's. After staying here, though, I will book my stay here every time I'm in Waco as the hotel itself ended up being the best part about the stay rather than the proximity to Chuy's. Consistent with what I've seen other reviews on here say, immediately upon entering the hotel you are greeted warmly with a smile ... Read more

This Holiday Inn Express is a new hotel and the design is current. The fitness room is large enough to have all the equipment and weights and there is an indoor pool. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was nice. I asked when the hotel opened, assuming it was brand new, 8 years old! Amazing given how well kept it is, no signs of aging. And for all of you Fixer Upper fans, it is just a quick drive! I will certainly stay here again!

Clean hotel. Walls in room a little scuffed in places, but the beds were very nice, and extremely comfortable! Bathroom was very clean. We missed the waffles at breakfast which are typically on the menu at such hotels. Friendly staff! Could hear through walls/door- earplugs recommended.
