The Hotel is close to the Waco Convention Center. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel is not fancy but the front desk was always helpful. The restaurant seemed very expensive and not consistent, but the service was friendly and courteous.

This Hilton is pretty old and dated. They have updating going on - so perhaps it will be much nicer soon. The pool is a swamp - there are huge oaks that have hundreds of Grackles in them and you enter along a sidewalk that they perch above - BAD BAD. However, I will say the room was clean, the Staff here is the saving grace - every single one of them we interacted with was extremely professional, kind, helpful, wonderful. Hopefully, once renovations are complete, it will be a GREAT location. ... Read more

Great location. Nice staff. Clean room but did not look like the one pictured when I reserved through the Hilton site. They have since changed the photos and reflect the room that I had. Black birds filled the tree outside my window and reminded me of a horror story. Not the hotel's fault, but noisy. Saturday night, however, I wandered down to the bar. There were several people there but it was not crowded even though groups were there for a wedding and Baylor's graduation. As a single woma... Read more

This Hilton was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay, but the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly! Good location to walk the Pedestrian Bridge or visit Magnolia Market! It is also only about a 10 minute drive to the Waco Mammoth National Monument!

We arrived in the late evening for a one-night stay. We found the staff who welcomed us were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is being renovated, and promises to be very pretty after completion. We are hopeful that the renovation will extend to the rooms, which were clean and comfortable, just a bit dated and tired looking. We would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is very pet friendly. Expect to be on floors 1-3 if you bring your pets. The room was adequate albeit a little dated. The hotel is undergoing renovations in the lobby and restaurant areas. They expect to be completed by this fall. The construction is a bit inconvenient but probably more so for the staff than the guests. Maybe they will redo the rooms next? Room refresh would be nice. This hotel is about a mile from the Baylor University campus and only a few blocks from Magnoli... Read more

So let's face it, I'm an amenities snob, and this probably goes back to my unwillingness to part with money. I reuse stuff around the house, if I see a penny, you guessed it, I pick it up. So it comes as no surprise that when I stay at a "high-dollar" establishment, I kinda expect high-dollar treatment. Before I begin, this review does come with a disclaimer- renovations were being done, so I will not fault anyone for that. When we arrived for the festival, my wife had little trouble checkin... There was a lot of construction. This includes elevators being blocked by painters, loud banging noises, sidewalks blocked so that the carpet couple be cut to specs outside. If we had a heads up that all of this was taking place, we probably would've have chosen a different hotel. Restless mornings and nights.

Expected a better quality hotel. Room looked old and outdated, hence the construction/renovation happening during my stay. Did not expect a roach in the room. Let the desk know and was not charged for the night's stay.

Even though the hotel was under modification and remodeling, our stay at the Waco Hilton was very pleasant. Great beds, pillows, comfortable furniture. The staff were attentive and responsive to every need, and very pleasant.

You cannot enter on the Brazos River side and you will have to swim in a neighboring hotel pool. You may get a view of the convention center ceiling even though the Brazos river is across the street. The staff was not very attentive and did not explain the construction mess to us when we checked in. I think they should have been charging reduced rates during the construction but it was not disclosed to us ahead of time.

The staff was excellent. The building was not. Our room was sadly basic. One drinking glass in a room for 4 adults. Only one available electric plug in the entire room; no USB port. Couldn't get wiFi to work. Pool was not open due to renovations. We were not forewarned. Paying full price for diminished accommodations.

We have never stayed at a Hilton before and decided to splurge for our weekend getaway. While everything was fine-clean, friendly, etc-it was not as nice as the Holiday Inn we stayed in at Waco two months ago. Location was convenient for downtown activities and we were able to walk to several things but not worth the extra splurge in my opinion.

We stayed at the Waco Hilton for three nights of a teacher convention. This is a very nice hotel and is in a really good location close to Baylor, the Suspension Bridge, and the Magnolia Market. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The wifi was good. Our air-conditioner was rather noisy. My only reason for not giving the five star rating is that our rooms were not ready for check-in at 6:00 p.m.

We traveled to Waco from Illinois to visit Waco and decided to stay downtown near the Silos. The Hilton was wonderful! Conveniently located, helpful staff, great pool, lovely rooms, clean facility, nice restaurant, and bar. Great experience overall!

A quality night stay at a affordable price. The hotel is in a very good location to attractions and restaurants. Key location for any stay in Waco. Good comfortable bed, clean room, and other amenities. As a return guest, I would stay here again, and generally is my first choice when I stay in the Waco area.

I show up for my reserved room at 10:30 PM. There was a pile a empty beers cans on the ground by the door. There were pizza boxes on the floor and tables at the entrance. There was a huge party in the lobby, the clerk took 15 min getting to us and then said the type of room I reserved was not available ans would get us a roll-away bed. 20 min later he was still trying to figure out if he had a room and a bed for me. I was scheduled to attend a meeting over the weekend. Pretty far in advance I made my reservation for arrival July 8 with departure on July 10. Unfortunately when the email came just before I was to attend, it was marked July 9 to July 11. I called the hotel and was told they had no availability for July 8. Then I called the corporate Hilton reservation line and was told the same thing, except they would put through an urgent request for a change back to my correct arrival date. Sure enough... Read more

Make sure you do not have a connecting room. The door between rooms is over a hard surface and sound carries as if the neighbors were in the room with you. We were able to be moved, but sometimes they are fully booked so specify in reservation. The hotel undergoing renovation so some inconvenience with that. That will be done soon.

One of the best hotels in Waco. Great location in downtown near walkable food options. Renovations should be nice when complete later this year. Overpriced rates at times, when booking for business trips.

Hotel is being updated. Food and nightlife in walking distance. If you are in Waco this is the best full-service hotel in my view. The only issue I had was the fitness center was not open due to the renovations, but they gave me access to the Courtyard's facilities across the street.

AC noisy, room had an odor. Good location, breakfast was limited. Had to ask for Hilton honor snacks and water. It wasn't offered even though they recognized me as a Hilton honors gold member. Other than that it was a decent visit.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 years for the triwaco race. We find the staff friendly, helpful and the rooms clean. They are updating the hotel and the pool is bigger and much nicer. This hotel is in the heart of the city. Nice run trails to the park. Great for kids.

This hotel was a nice surprise. Clean, comfortable, quiet, great location, great service . . . what more can you ask for? I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Even though it's located at the convention center, on the weekend it was very quiet and very convenient!
