The Hotel is close to the Waco Convention Center. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel is not fancy but the front desk was always helpful. The restaurant seemed very expensive and not consistent, but the service was friendly and courteous.

This Hilton is pretty old and dated. They have updating going on - so perhaps it will be much nicer soon. The pool is a swamp - there are huge oaks that have hundreds of Grackles in them and you enter along a sidewalk that they perch above - BAD BAD. However, I will say the room was clean, the Staff here is the saving grace - every single one of them we interacted with was extremely professional, kind, helpful, wonderful. Hopefully, once renovations are complete, it will be a GREAT location. ... Read more

Great location. Nice staff. Clean room but did not look like the one pictured when I reserved through the Hilton site. They have since changed the photos and reflect the room that I had. Black birds filled the tree outside my window and reminded me of a horror story. Not the hotel's fault, but noisy. Saturday night, however, I wandered down to the bar. There were several people there but it was not crowded even though groups were there for a wedding and Baylor's graduation. As a single woma... Read more

We arrived in the late evening for a one-night stay. We found the staff who welcomed us were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is being renovated, and promises to be very pretty after completion. We are hopeful that the renovation will extend to the rooms, which were clean and comfortable, just a bit dated and tired looking. We would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is very pet friendly. Expect to be on floors 1-3 if you bring your pets. The room was adequate albeit a little dated. The hotel is undergoing renovations in the lobby and restaurant areas. They expect to be completed by this fall. The construction is a bit inconvenient but probably more so for the staff than the guests. Maybe they will redo the rooms next? Room refresh would be nice. So let's face it, I'm an amenities snob, and this probably goes back to my unwillingness to part with money. I reuse stuff around the house, if I see a penny, you guessed it, I pick it up. So it comes as no surprise that when I stay at a "high-dollar" establishment, I kinda expect high-dollar treatment. Before I begin, this review does come with a disclaimer- renovations were being done, so I will not fault anyone for that. When we arrived for the festival, my wife had little trouble checkin... There was a lot of construction. This includes elevators being blocked by painters, loud banging noises, sidewalks blocked so that the carpet couple be cut to specs outside. If we had a heads up that all of this was taking place, we probably would've have chosen a different hotel. Restless mornings and nights.

You cannot enter on the Brazos River side and you will have to swim in a neighboring hotel pool. You may get a view of the convention center ceiling even though the Brazos river is across the street. The staff was not very attentive and did not explain the construction mess to us when we checked in. I think they should have been charging reduced rates during the construction but it was not disclosed to us ahead of time.

The staff was excellent. The building was not. Our room was sadly basic. One drinking glass in a room for 4 adults. Only one available electric plug in the entire room; no USB port. Couldn't get wiFi to work. Pool was not open due to renovations. We were not forewarned. Paying full price for diminished accommodations.

We have never stayed at a Hilton before and decided to splurge for our weekend getaway. While everything was fine-clean, friendly, etc-it was not as nice as the Holiday Inn we stayed in at Waco two months ago. Location was convenient for downtown activities and we were able to walk to several things but not worth the extra splurge in my opinion.

We stayed at the Waco Hilton for three nights of a teacher convention. This is a very nice hotel and is in a really good location close to Baylor, the Suspension Bridge, and the Magnolia Market. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The wifi was good. Our air-conditioner was rather noisy. My only reason for not giving the five star rating is that our rooms were not ready for check-in at 6:00 p.m.

Make sure you do not have a connecting room. The door between rooms is over a hard surface and sound carries as if the neighbors were in the room with you. Rooms need to be refreshed and baths repaired. Breakfast buffet meal service was disappointing / lousy. The only reason we stay at this hotel is that we like the location. We have stayed here four times. Each time we remark that we love the location and convenience, however, we don't think the price / value is where it should be. For the money, the facility (rooms and baths) should be in much better shape, and the buffet should be stocked with enough food for all the members of our party.

I travel for a living and have stayed in many hotels and different hotel chains. I would expect that a Hilton in a small city would set the bar for quality and value. This is not it! I stay in many different hotel chains and consistency is important to me. Saying I was disappointed in my stay here might be an understatement. The staff was friendly, but overwhelmed. I am recovering from a hip replacement and was tired and hurting and getting frustrated because I could not find the front of the hotel for the easiest access for me. Allison talked with me on the phone and eventually left the front desk to physically come find me and ... Read more

I'd give this an Average for a lesser hotel chain, but for the name and the price you expect a higher quality. There were clumps of hair on the floor in the bathroom, on the ceiling above the shower, and on the walls near the door. It looked like they put new towels and toiletries out and didn't clean. When we brought it to their attention, someone from housekeeping came in, sprayed one of the clumps of hair and picked it up with a towel and then left...we let them know that wasn't satisfacto... I travel to Waco for business a lot during the Fall. Hilton Waco makes work very easy. The accommodations are very comfortable. Their location is convenient to Baylor University as well as nice dining options within walking distance. Love the shopping too across the street as well as so close to Silos Then there is the city park and river view. This is such a friendly area. It is so easy to stay here

Stay at the Waco Hilton for a wedding weekend and this hotel was fantastic. Close by to Magnolia Silos, restaurants, shopping and the Phoenix wedding venue. Very nice hotel, modern and updated with great views of Baylor University and the downtown area of Waco. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There was a cultural festival the same weekend right outside the front of the hotel, very convenient. Every hotel staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. They even ha... Our room is decent and the room is ample size with the exception of the bathroom. In order to shower you must close the bathroom door. If you're sitting on the toilet, you're not going to close the door either. The most positive aspect is its close to so many things downtown. It would be great if they offered coffee in the mornings but in order to get free coffee you must be a gold or diamond member.....how much does coffee cost?

Hotel is a couple hundred yards to a free bus service that runs 2.5 hours before game time until 2 hours after game time with drop off at the same location. very confident. If you want to walk to the stadium or BU in't a 1mi to 1.5 mi walk which is not difficult if the weather is cooperating with you. Rooms are okay. We've stayed here 6-7 times. Something the rooms smell a little wet from the humidity...but we've dealt with it. Staff is awesome. Always friendly with a smile of there faces... Read more

Stayed here 3 nights for a tennis tournament at Baylor. Great quiet corner room, executive lounge access, really fluffy towels in bath and really comfy bed. Alvin at check in was very helpful and the ladies who oversee the executive lounge morning and evening were assets to the hotel. Right across the street from the bronze statues of longhorns, horses and cowboys and the bridge over the Brazos. Oh, and the food trucks are set up next to the bridge for a fun walking experience. Definitely a... Read more

I stayed for one night for work. The room was clean, front desk excellent, gym was great. I attached pics of the gym. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5, I used the mobile app to check in and requested an extra pillow and it was not there. By the time I'm in my room I don't feel like calling and waiting for it to be brought.

We elected to stay at the Hilton based on location. Our main reason to be in Waco was to celebrate a sister's birthday and to visit the Magnolia Silo which is just a few blocks away. The rooms were lovely. The beds were very comfortable. Had a problem with the refrigerator in one room, but that was handled promptly by the front desk. The lobby is very comfortable as well. The quality of the housekeeping was lacking. We did not receive new cups, coffee, creamer at our coffee station for th... Read more

Close (walking distance) to shops/restaurants and some food trucks. Also close to the Magnolia Farms crazy sensation! Although this hotel is not new, it is updated and very nice inside. Right across from a nice park and the river-great place for walkers/runners. I enjoy staying here each time I visit Waco.

I'm sitting in my room waiting for a call from room service when Abby finally gets through on the phone. I've already been hung up on twice- once by April then by Josh who apparently can't hear me on the phone. Twice today (and multiple times on a previous evening) I called room service only to be connected to VOICEMAIL saying the Brazos Grill is closed - clearly during opening hours. Really folks??????? I'm a HHonors Diamond member and stay at hotels often. Location - excellent, Staff - extremely pleasant and went above and beyond, Executive Lounge - great variety compared to other Hiltons and very friendly attendant, Buffet Breakfast - many choices, fresh, clean area, and option of waffle or omelette included, Pool - very nice and had a resort feel. This will be my choice of hotel when staying in Waco.

Due to cancellation of flights between DFW and Waco, my luggage was delayed until the middle of the night. The staff went to the airport, retrieved my luggage and made sure I had it by 6AM, so that I could have fresh clothes for my 8AM meeting. Everyone provided excellent service beyond my expectations, even for a Hilton.

This room is directly below the Executive Lounge. You will hear people coming and going all night as I also think this is when they clean the EL. Avoid this room. 2 nights of no sleep. The manager and staff were very helpful and cared. Other than that it was a great place.
