I knew we would be stopping in late after traveling all day and simply was looking for a clean room to spend the night. This is what we got. After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned about my choice. This motel is older but is fine for an overnight stay. If I was looking for a place to vacation I would not want to stay there, but for one night it's fine. They even offer a light breakfast. It's one of those things, if you want more then pay more and stay someplace else...

This one wasn't a handicap room but we have our own equipment when we need it. Just a good decent comfortable roomy place to be . We like older motels where you can park right in front of your room , this one was very convenient.

Was in a hurry booking a place..should have read theTrip Advisor reviews - instead just looked at Expedia reviews. Wow...past comments by Trip Advisor folks are spot on. Awful, just awful. Will share photos. Bathroom, toilet, bed were not meeting regular 'cleanliness' by any standards. We asked for the manager to come look at the bed - which looked like someone just slept in. He suggested the laundry guy lets the sheets stay in the dryer too long, and that's why they were wrinkled...I poin... Read more

This is a dinky-dink little dead town. The hotel is nothing to look at, yet makes up with it by a nice kitchenette area (room 33) and a clean room. The other thing I liked is they had the soap and shampoo mounted to walls, so there is less trash with all those little bottles floating around the planet. The owner/manger? has very good customer service. He saw my husband looking for something in the breakfast area (at 4:00 pm) and asked what he needed. My husband said he was looking for milk f... Owner &, his mother manned the front desk. Very friendly & informative BUT that`s not enough. Serious problem even trying to get into the room. You had to juggle the handle just right to enter. I went to the front desk to say the key didn't work. She went to try and help when the daughter? shows up & says this happens all the time & to just jiggle it & all will be ok. If ongoing problem why not fix it? Towels extremely old & thin. Didn't feel room was clean.

Spend the extra $5-$10 for a decent budget motel. We wished we had. On long road trips, we will go for lower end properties such as Days Inn or Baymont for quick rest stops, so we can splurge when we get to where we are going. We try to support non-chain properties when possible. It usually works well. Not here, however. Rundown property, badly stained towels so yucky I opted not to use one to wash my face. Staff housekeeper lounging in a daze by the office. The place was so awful we didn't even... Read more

Don't do it...not even for the great rate of $45 in those coupon books. Nope! Not worth it! Filthy! Bugs everywhere in the room! Pubes on the shower walls. Gritty, dirty tile floors. Toothbrush spray on the mirror. Gum wrapper and burrs on the bed. The drawers had bread ties, onion skins and popcorn in them like someone had been living there before us. Our room did not look like any of the advertised pics or even many of the pics posted here! The one redeeming factor is the receptionist was supe... Read more

I'll start by saying the desk clerk was holding her 2-week old baby, and I have a feeling that she's responsible for a lot of the caretaking that happens there. The common areas hadn't been attended to (to put it mildly) for some time. However, the room was clean although without "kleenex," shampoo, etc., and the towels were plentful. The toilet leaked to the point where we turned off the water to it and only turned it on to fill up the tank. If you can overlook the breakfast area and outdoors a... Read more

The room-door lock was loose; we felt unsafe. The toilet tank had lost water for flushing; we had to pour water using the trash bin. They had not equipped our room with towels; we had to ask them for the stuff after the check-in. I have to recommend anybody to stay away from booking a room of this motel.

Booked thru TripAdvisor but when we arrived, new owner had cancelled our reservation (and rented our room) because we had pets. Website said they accepted pets when we booked. Did not find out about this until we arrived. Guess it was a blessing in disguise since lobby had odor and not clean. Personnel was on their way out.
