This hotel needs help. When I first arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the counter for 15 minutes. Tim apologized, but I am sure that is required. The ice machine was broken, and since there was not a fridge in the room, drinks just had to sit on the counter. I would have called to see what ice machines were working, but there was not a phone either. The bathroom had what I described as a "pubic hair" on the back of the door. Something I did not want to see when I was drying off in the sh... Read more

Nice Clean Hotel, you get your money worth at this hotel, you will not be disappointed at all, nice restaurants near by that make it that much easier to go eat, over all nice clean hotel, with some wonderful nice friendly staff that you can understand everything that they are saying.

Not the warmest of welcomes. Room smelled a bit musty. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast good. Was overcharged for room so have to waste my time now trying to recover the $200 I was overcharged. The excuse given didn't seem very convincing and the guy who I called back at hotel didn't seem to interested

I have mixed feelings on this hotel...first of all, the staff are incredibly welcoming and efficient! But, the hotel itself is very old, dated, and in desperate need of sound proofing. In fact, if you are looking to actually sleep during your stay....go to another hotel that actually has been upgraded to minimize the traffic noise! One star only because of the hotel condition.

Ice machine broken on the 2nd floor. TV remote useless, AC to load and cycle off and on way to much. The biggest problem I had was the price. 229.00 dollars a night. I could have stayed at the river walk area in The Woodlands for that price. The room should of been about 80.00 dollars a night because of the age and amenities. I felt like since it was Ironman weekend a major price increase was used at this hotel.

Continental breakfast was great! Staff was friendly! However...Our room was musty, stale air, broken exterior door, grungy and not well insulated from noise outside. The air conditioner barely worked and smelled like dust, giving us headaches.

We are Hampton Inn and Suites faithful customers. The thought never occurred to me to be concerned about the condition of the hotel (which is really a MOTEL) or the service we would get. This was especially true since we are in The Woodlands. Aside from the fact that we had to lug our things up to the second floor, the outside door rooms were very noisy from the traffic and people. The room was so small and not in good condition, the a/c unit was noisy and did not work well and the front desk pe... Read more

My family and I love staying at this hotel because of the great professional service and the great rooms. Dru, checked me in and as always, greeted me with a smile that makes you feel like the trip was really worth it! In fact the whole staff at the Hampton in the Woodlands are great! the rooms are perfect the very best nights rest I have had in a very long time. I was there to see about my 89 year old mother who was in the local hospital, the last thing I needed was a dirty room and an unwel... Read more

No issues. Room was clean. Lots of towels, plugs right by bed for charging. Easy to get to right off of the highway. AC was cold. The breakfast could have been a little better overall but I did not leave hungry.

I booked this room while I was on the road, and paid with a card to hold it for that evening. I pulled up to find it is a motor inn. Outside access! What the heck! The girl at the desk was pleasant and gave me a key. I trudged upstairs outside in the dark to find I was given the keys to someone else's room. Needless to say I am writing this from my room at the holiday inn. Hampton you lost a faithful customer because of this crappy location.

We were looking for good value with a respected brand that was convenient to The Woodlands. This Hampton Inn met all requirements. Receptionist readily accommodated our request for a room change at check in. All staff were friendly. The room was certainly adequate, though it showed a few signs of age: TP holder was coming undone from the wall and the bathroom ceiling had some evidence of mold. Both problems were conveyed to reception and checkout and I would expect both would have been add... Read more

Stayed 2 nights - some of the past reviews had complaints about the traffic noise. We did not notice any of that - especially on Friday evening when the freeway and feeder roads are packed in The Woodlands. It can be difficult to get around then. This hotel has great access as it is on the feeder road but when it gets busy, there is a residential street that provides access into The Woodlands to avoid traffic. We stayed here because of past positive experiences with Hampton Inn and pricing w... Read more

The staff were very friendly. The wifi was a bit slow. The room was super clean. The pool was also clean as was the hot tub. All the rooms have exterior doors. Traveling alone, I'd have preferred interior doors, but that is just how the hotel is built.

My name is Coralis González from PR. I had to write this superb review to a superb experience at the Hampton Inn at Woodlands Houston. The story is beautiful and the experience was wonderful. I fly in from Puerto Rico to Houston with my mom and aunt for a special visit to their best friend who recently move to an elderly home at the woodlands. They have been friends for 30 years and the first time ever separated. I felt a little bit nervous. I wanted to be a perfect experience for them Knowing... Read more

It was good. Older hotel, outside entrance. Can be "noisy" if folks are coming and going in the parking lot. If you know all this in advance and appreciate a laid back & friendly atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. Staff was great, particularly the 2 gentlemen at desk when we checked in. (Tom & ...Andrew?) Wish I could remember their names. The room I selected digitally had AC issues, so when we arrived they explained and offered a different room. The positives: clean and very quiet considering how close property is to a busy freeway; comfortable bed; good breakfast; efficient and friendly staff. Stayed only one night, location was convenient for us. Negatives: this is an older hotel, has not been updated or renovated. It is not an "Inn & Suites" as other Hampton Inns might be labeled.

We stayed for two reasons in particular-price which was quite reasonable for a Hampton, and location near family members. The Hotel was relatively quiet, given its location near I-45, and was quite neat and clean. It could be easier to access the Interstate, as a lengthy trip on the frontage road was required. Other than that, we had no problems with this location.

When I checked in I found a great big dead cock roach in the middle of my living room. I dont think he paid for his part of the room. Also the bed looked like someone did jumping jacks on it when I checked in. Otherwise, it was decent at best. Front desk guy was good, even though they never took care of the bug. Hotel needs a serious rehab.

This hotel is the worst Hampton Inn I have experienced! I am a road warrior and this is worst lodging experience I have had in 10+ years! This is an older property with some updates. The bathroom was cleanish. The rooms are accessed from the outside. There is no elevator for carrying heavy or bulky items up to the second floor. The complimentary internet was painfully slow. The breakfast was meager, understocked and nothing to write home about. The housekeeper took away the dirty towels but didn't replace them so I had to search out clean towels when I returned the second night. The lady at the front desk was great, Dru. She is ... The hotel was very noisy from road noise, guests noise, parking lot noise, etc. The air conditioner sounded like a 747 on take off every time it kicked on during the night. The room was very musty. I was not given the room selected when I checked in digitally. The desk attendant checking in was very nice and very efficient. I would not stay in the Hampton again due to noise level and general overall appearance and smell of room.

The hotel is a little older but over all was well priced for the rooms, beds were nice rooms keep clean. Front office staff helpful and friendly. I would stay here again if in the area again Breakfast was typical for this type of hotel, a small selection of fruits, yogurt, cereals etc. then some hot food selections. nothin fancy but for a well priced room to stay in and sleep in it met the goals nicely.

Rooms are a little dated. Beds were comfortable but lumpy. Pillows were inconsistent. Took a few minutes to get settled. Bathrooms are very small with sink on the outside. Breakfast was bland and options were somewhat limited. Very small area. All these issues did not cause much displeasure though. We were overall pleased with our stay.

I should of been told at check in if its aknown issue. They should also regularly treat the parking area to reduce these pests

All room doors are exterior and the noise level from outside is above normal. Upon arrival, the door knob entering my room fell off. The room was musty and smelled of smoke. When I pulled the desk chair out it was covered in crumbs. Simply put, this was the smelliest, dirtiest, Hampton I have seen. I checked out and drove down the street to a different hotel.

The staff were awesome but the property was misleading. Looks like it was a motel property prior to being a Hilton property. I personally don't like my rm being accessible to anyone on the streets. Also lots of highway noise so get a room in the back of the property. You'll need a car to get around but that's all of Houston

A great combination of price, amenities, location, and ease of access. The staff has always been great. The contenintal breakfast is very good considering the tier of hotel. The Woodlands mall is only a couple of minutes away, and there are several quality restaurants within a mile or two. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt the worst Hampton I have ever stayed at. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. The staff gave away one of our rooms to someone with a similar name and cancelled the other room. We had "checked in" to both online, so much for that farce. We were placed in different rooms and had to make several trips to the front because the keys would never work. The rooms were dank and smelled of smoke, and one had bloodstains on the curtains.

I will say this trip was NOT typical of what we have experienced in the past. We have stayed here for years, and this has been a nice enough place to stay if you're attending Texas Renaissance Festival for the weekend. In this case, I had points to use to pay for the room. I made reservations over the phone, and I was very specific about needing either a king size bed, two beds, or some kind of a sleeper to accommodate two adults and a growing 12-year-old.
