The lovely and so sweet lady at the front desk named Sade.. I just want to say she was one of the most friendliest person I have ever meet. .. always smiling and in such a great mood. . Was very helpful and helped me numerous times. . All the way from checking in. . Getting the WiFi to work for me. . To given me a razor and cream that I forgot and last but not least haven a cork screw opener to open my bottle of wine. ... and but to mention the friendly pretty smile and nice hello from her eve... While this is just a place to crash kind of stopping point, it's a very good one nonetheless. New, clean, great staff, and a very good complementary type breakfast with many hot and cold food choices available. Good coffee too. There's an indoor pool and hot tub, a workout room, a business/guest computer room, and places to sit and watch the community area flat screens. While it's still a basic hotel, it has a good bed, fairly large rooms, ample sized restroom with shower, a fairly large fla... Read more

I loved the decor! My room was gorgeous and I felt energized and refreshed when I left. The service was outstanding, the room was perfectly clean and arranged. I was impressed with the selection of food at breakfast. Oh, and I even loved the TV in my room. Stay here, it is convenient to Scott and White and anywhere else you need to go in Temple.

We had a mix up at another local hotel, not our fault, and when they were unable to make it right, Margaret and her staff at the Hilton Inn Express were fabulous. They gave us nicer , more spacious rooms at a very competitive rate. Thank you, we will be back!

Got a room at local hotel so I could not stress with raining crazy AUSTIN traffic and could just come the night before my hospital appointment. It was quiet. It was clean. The bed was very firm and the pillows seemed to be harder than normal. I did get free upgrade and all seemed perfect except a limitless firmer than expected sleeping experience.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times the past year when in Temple for business with Federal employees and the V.A. Hospital. This visit April 8 - 12 I had to cut short after two nights of the hotel being run out of control by college students. I noticed that about 7 pm at night a few dozen college age students arrived in the parking lot with stereos blasting and slowly entered the hotel with luggage, alcohol, while some openly smoking pot. By 10 pm the entire hotel was overrun by these out of... Read more

This hotel is brand new and very close to Scott and White hospital. The rooms are impeccable and the staff was wonderful. The exercise room was well equipped but the only treadmill was broken. There was a nice sit-down bike and elliptical machine along with plenty of free weights. At a time when value is important to everyone, this hotel had a great rate and included a great breakfast that has become the norm at most Holiday inns that I stay. The decor was beautiful and the beds were perfect alo... Read more

It was a short notice reservation. Our adult daughter was having unplanned surgery and we searched quickly for a place near the medical facility. The hotel looks almost new. Staff were very accommodating. Bkfst area was clean, well maintained and selection was sufficient and kept fresh. Our room was very comfortable

All areas of the hotel are immaculately clean(I was told the housekeeping supervisor black lights the remote controls when checking rooms!) and it's in a great location. Close to all Temple has to offer without all of the highway noise. The staff is AMAZING, knowledgeable, and helpful. They go above and beyond! There is plenty to choose from when it comes to breakfast. There's scrambled eggs, sausage(even turkey sausage for those who don't eat pork), biscuits and gravy. Some days, they alte... Read more

Most of these new Holiday Inns that have been popping up the last ten years or so are nice and this one exceeds that level. The staff was friendly. The hotel was insanely clean. Breakfast was the standard free hotel one but it was still good. The pool was nice. We were upgraded at no extra cost. Good coffee makers in the room. They also have drinks and frozen dinner type stuff for sale in the lobby in case you get hungry. My only complaint and it's not the hotel's fault, is there aren't any quic... Read more

Margaret, Lisa, Bradie, etc...all FIRST CLASS customer service...but even better people! Hotel, room, bathroom all clean, comfortable and well kept. That is the WORST I can say about my stay. I am here for a family emergency. I won't go into details...but these people have truly touched my heart with their compassion and generosity. Regardless of your reason for staying in Temple, don't consider anywhere else. You won't get any better!

We had the best service at this location! It was an unexpected trip due to a family funeral. Jayten took very good care of us and made sure that our accomodations were top notch! We arrived late that night and the manager was kind enough to not charge us due to the circumstances and our time of arrive....which was greatly appreciated! Thank you to the manager, Jayten and the rest of the staff at Holiday Inn Express! Your hospitality was outstanding, the facility and rooms were clean and top... Read more

Had a Baylor Family Weekend. Hotels in Waco were no less than $200 for the lowest quality, similar hotels were no less than $350 in Waco. I guess because they knew families were in town. Stayed here for half the price in a king suite, 30 minutes from Baylor exit. It was nice, clean, comfortable and they had a decent breakfast. We visited the Magnolia Silo bakery and home good store, the farmers market and toured Baylor. It was a great stay.
