We had a great time on our 2 day staff! Every staff member i talked to was courteous and really nice! Rooms were clean and very spacious. Having private patio overlooking the ocean was awesone! After a day at beach it was awesome to relax at pool and hot tub and kids got to watch movie poolside! Very cool! Breakfast was good. We had a winderful stay here and will definitely return.

I stayed here during Spring Break 2016 for a mission trip and it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! All the staff members were so very kind, caring, and helpful! The custodial staff was phenomenal! That place was spotless! Also, something very comforting is that they had security guards patrolling the halls very frequently and they are VERY good at their job! They knew what was happening and when it was happening (definitely NOT; dumb, naive, or at all easy to get things past them!)... Read more

The Outer appearance of the hotel is attractive. Beautiful water fountain, nice pool scenery. That's what first attracted us. First impression of Desk personnel was a good one, nice and courteous.. Elevator unfortunately smelled really bad and my kids wanted to avoid using the elevator all together. Our rooms were clean however a small cockroach was spotted on the ceiling in the restroom. Rooms were spacious and had a small balcony area. Called front desk to request additional pillows since the ... Read more

We arrived Sunday and didn't have a reservation so the front desk rep didn't make eye contact and said she was not in a position to honor our reservation rate yet can go online and see if rate is available.....not happy. So the next day they honored our reservation (it was booked and got a great rate) Thanks Trip Advisor. The first impression this time was way better. Different gal working front desk was helpful and accommodating. The hotel us clean. They have plants on the landings in the stair... Read more

Stayed here for one Sunday night at the start of our vacation. Price for a room with two double beds was very reasonable. The hotel itself is well kept and reasonably updated. The staff we encountered were two grouchy older ladies that were helpful enough but not the most welcoming crew. Our room was large with a kitchenette with small fridge, microwave and small sink. There was a small balcony also with a not too bad view of the Laguna Madre. We didn't use the pool area but it looked nice. Ther... Read more

On the outside you'd think its a great place. And on pictures you think you're getting something else. The king suite does NOT come with a sofa bed. I booked for 4... My wife and 2 boys. We had to share the bed. I asked for a rollaway bed. They were out and they said they'd rent me a blow up mattress for $10. Since I said I would not pay extra since my room should've come with a sofa bed they then said oh we don't have a mattress available. The tub literally had a hole in it. So you had to be c... Awesome hotel to stay in! Enjoyed my stay there! I recommend anyone to stay there! The only problem was the elevator smelled really bad, but other than that I enjoyed it! The Internet on the office computer wasn't working and I needed to print out my tickets to schlitterbahn and they let me use the front desk computer.(: very friendly staff!!

Hotel is in a great location. Hotel is a bit over crowded and may need an upgrade soon especially their mattresses. I was basically sleeping on the springs. Other than that it's in a convenient location from the beach and having a kitchen is very convenient as well ".

The price was very fair the room was clean and confortable. While our stay the wifi never worked inside our room, the signal was very bad, you could hear other customers complaining anout the same thing. Would probable not stay here in the future.

Hotel was okay for the price and staff was friendly. Great location close the the beach. The room was clean and the beds not to bad. There was a hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits, gray, waffles) but it was only available from 8:00-9:00 which causes everyone in the hotel to try and eat at one time and there's not enough seats to sit down. We just gave up and went somewhere else to eat. Very few selection for cold breakfast from 6:30-8:00 (cereal, toast or bagel). Building needy to be updated... Read more

We had a great time on the island. And we met another family from near by who we spent lots of time with. Great memories. Now for the hotel... We had major pluming problems ever time we used our toilet. The staff was very nice, but the hotel needs some updates and fresh paint thru out. And not to forget the morning breakfast was not good at all except the waffles. Our family stayed on the 3 rd flood so the elevator was necessary. The bad oder like a locker room full of jocks, was horrible every... Read more

Company's website price can't be beat. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Desk clerks were very pleasant and helpful. Two choices of breakfast that come with the room. Long line for the waffles. You can get continental or wait until 8:30 and get a complete breakfast. Pool is very nice. Has a snack/drink/beer/gift shop with reasonable prices. Located within walking distance of entertainment, the beach, stores, bars and restaurants. About 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. Accepts p... Read more

My fianc├ęe and I stayed here for 6 nights last summer and we loved it! We got the double queen room with a beautiful view of the bay side. Not super close to the beach, but we didn't mind the 5 minute walk. Great breakfast, friendly staff, & we are totally booking again this summer!

Friendly staff, large clean rooms, balcony with a view and GREAT location. Loved the fact we could walk to restaurants, shopping and beach (and we took advantage of that). Price was very good also. Would love to see rooms updated. Would come back.

We got a great rate, good location, nice staff, good size room. Terrible wifi on the 2nd floor, we had to go down to the lobby to use wifi. Pillows are small & lumpy, take your own for the adults! Even with these 2 issues we would stay again!! The kitchenette has a 2 burner stove, a small fridge & microwave.

The rooms were decent on a first glance. The pillows were small and rock hard. No ironing board or iron provided in rooms. Havent seen that in at least 10 years anywhere. We asked for extra towels since we had a family of 4 with 3 towels provided to shower and use the pool and had to explain why i needed them to the front desk. Didnt even have any extra after explaining anyways. The breakfast was horrible, found hair in the eggs, and they dont offer orange juice to drink. Might stay here... Read more

Upon arrival, I re-read reviews of the hotel, and I feel as though our room was sub-par compared with many other reviewers' experiences. I am relatively kind when traveling outside the states in regard to accommodations, but my stateside expectations are a bit higher. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed that my experience was not the same as a lot of the reviews I read for a hotel in this price range. I would have expected this from a $70-$100 a night motel. First, I called ahead as I knew we woul... Read more

We have enjoyed our stay here tremendously! The staff are all friendly and do a great job of keeping the hotel clean. We stayed in a queen room with a kitchenette overlooking the Laguna Madre bay. Centrally located to everything. The rates are friendly as well. Breakfast consists of make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. For early risers there is cereal and toast starting at 6:30 a.m. The hot breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. The staff keeps it replenished. There is a pool... Read more

Good location, close to spi night life. Lots of parking. Couple Bad things were WiFi is not good, neither is the water pressure. Pillows and bed not too comfortable and wish breakfast was served at least until 10am. But overall, pretty nice hotel. Jacuzzi in room and heated pool. Would stay here again.

We stayed here during the week during off season. We had the lovely heated pool all to ourselves most of the time. The tropical landscaping around the pool gives such a secluded feeling to it. The desk personnel were always polite and kind. The location worked well for us. We walked to dinner several nights. The breakfast was a bit boring after a few days but perhaps there is more selection during busier times. Our room was cleaned well every day. Occasionally had to ask for washcloths, b... Read more
