Came for spring break and it was just perfect!!! The manager was very kind and greeted us as we walked in. It is a good walking distance to the beach and to restaurants! I say it's perfect for spring breakers! Not so much for family with children

Not the best in town, but for the price it's better than the rest. Some of the rooms have carpet and some have a wood type of floor, I personally prefer the wooden floor. I've stayed 3 times and I haven't found a thing I could complain about it.

Daughter and friends checked in for Spring Break and were up front with staff when making reservations that there would be a 5th person in the room. There was an additional charge to have that 5th person in the room (twice as much as what the website advertises which was paid). When checking in, they were told they would have to pay an additional $80.00 if they wanted a cot. When they asked for more towels, they were told they would need to get the towels themselves out of the laundry roo... Read more

Our family came here for a brief Spring vacation at the end of March 2016. Originally, we reserved a double queen w/ a balcony and a double queen. We asked that the rooms be near each other. However, they were separated by a hallway. There weren't working exhaust fans in either bathroom. My husband and I had the queen with the balcony. There was no clock in our room and no towels. My mother and daughter didn't have a phone in their room and the cord to the microwave didn't reach the outlet. Th... Read more

We visited this property in April, 2016. It was to celebrate my wife's recent birthday and to introduce our new dog to the Gulf waters. Our 12 year old Beagle died last year wile we were in Paris and our 22 Year old cat died not long after. We rescued this dog from the streets since she was starving and nursing 4 pups. We had her fixed and medicated and she is now healthy and active at just over 1 year old. We were so pleased to find a hotel in SPI that allows pets. They only charged us $10 per ... Read more

The front desk staff was very accommodating and honored the price I saw online (through Travel Advisor) The rooms are basic and no frills. The hotel itself is in dire need of some renovations yet all in all wasn't a bad experience. The breakfast was kinda a joke yet we were warned by the front desk. The room we stayed in the a/cworked great and our room stayed cool throughout the night.

We stayed Sunday night through Friday morning in room 208! It had a balcony over the pool and a great view of the bay and the bridge! The room was nice, clean, and had carpet, thankfully! (The beach and sand does not mix with hardwood floors and no broom!) The staff was very nice, accommodating and very helpful! My only small issues were that there wasn't a clock in the room and the location requires you to make a u-turn if you want to go to the north end of the island. Not a biggie! I can't tel... Read more

The room was somewhat noisy from the pool area below. The pool and spa was always overrun with families. The sliding glass door to the balcony could be replaced. The door runners did not seem to have been cleaned for a long time. We also had to clean the glass door in order to have a clear view of the bay as there were fingerprints and other stains on the window. The maid service was marginal. They did not even clean our room one of the days during our stay. The couch in the room needed a... Read more

I decided on short notice to go to SPI. We were only going for 1 night and the Blue Bay was very reasonable priced. We booked a king bed with bay view balcony. The hotel staff was very welcoming and check in was easy. We were on the 4th floor and our room was just fine. Had a great view of the fireworks from our balcony. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. We hadn't planned on doing any cooking but there was a nice fridge/freezer, microwave and stove top in the room. No dinnerwa... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed July 11-15. The hotel was about HALF of the price of the condos and other hotels in the area. It was in a very good location with just a short drive to the beach. But PLENTY of things to do within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the bedroom was very sleek looking. We booked two double beds (preparing for sunburn city) and we got upgraded to a king bed with kitchenette. In our room there was a very large shower, a two burner glass top stove, a rather large... While it may not appear to be anything fancy, this inn has many perks. The pool area has a nice kid friendly pool with attached hot tub and 2 BBQ grills that can be used by guests. Fireworks are visible from the pool deck every Thursday Friday and Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are nice, they include a small fridge and a microwave. The views of the bay are gorgeous. The staff is help but not intrusive.

The hotel is conveniently located towards the southern end of the island - close to the bridge and close walking distance to shops and a few restaurants. It's a little far out if you're planning on having a few drinks at Louie's or any of the bayside bars and planning to drive. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room smelled clean, staff were friendly and that's about where the review should end. Paying $185 per night though one should expect that the rooms battle scars from previous gu... Read more

This place was great for the price! We got a nice, clean room for around $44 from a Kayak deal. They have a clean pool and hot tub as well as grills to use outside. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be that the juice is watery at breakfast. So bring your own juice if that's your thing.
