We always try to stay at a Hilton branch when we go stay overnight. This Hampton Inn was new, the shower was huge and the bed was great. We have never been dissappointed with a Hampton Inn or any Hilton branch. And this is right on I-10, 40 miles out of San Antonio.

The staff was one of the most friendliest I have encountered and extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel was clean. Places to eat are within walking distance which is a plus for our family. The only issue was the pool area needs lighting for the evening hours.

I gave this hotel a very good review because so much of our stay was very good. The breakfast, very good, cleanliness, also very good, the staff, very courteous and helpful. However, I didn't give it an excellent rating for a very common reason--what I call the "damp and stinky" reason. This hotel, like many, had one of those in-room heating/cooling units. I imagine they must be a pain to clean and expensive to replace, but here's the deal. Most of the time (and this hotel room was no excepti... Read more

This was the first time I booked a meeting room with the Hampton. The manager Maria went over and beyond to accommodate my needs. We stay at this hotel everytime we come down to visit my daughter in college. It's just what you need, clean, complimentary breakfast.

Convenient location, just off the highway. Stayed here for an event at Texas State University in San Marcos. Easy drive to the university. There are decent enough places to eat near the hotel in Sequin. Hotel was well-kept, the room was clean. Complimentary breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare. Price per night was much better than at San Marcos.

The hotel was very clean and fresh. The front desk staff was eager to help with our late check in. The breakfast area was nice and large with many choices available. Hot and cold. The room was well cleaned and roomy. The only thing that seemed to affect my husband and me was that the bed wan't as comfy as we would like. A little on the hard firm side - we awoke somewhat stiff. however; the hotel is a very nice place to stay.

The experience at the Seguin, TX Hampton Inn was enjoyable and met all of my expectations. All aspects of the visit were top notch. The location was very convenient from a travel standpoint as well as for the closeness to several popular eating places.

The stay at the Hampton Inn Seguin was very enjoyable. The front desk staff was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. Although close to I10, the room was very quiet. Left early in the morning so we missed the complementary breakfast.

The property is very nice, but what puts this hotel over the top is the friendly, helpful staff. You'll be amazed at the service you'll receive. I can't say I've ever encountered such a guest focused group of people. I mean from the front desk to the maintenance folks.

Our hotel room would not lock, so we were changed to a different room. The beds were clean as was the room with the exception of the carpets. They were filthy. Kids in the breakfast area were licking spoons before the put them back in the public jelly jars. A group of volleyball tournament kids were partying in the kitchen area each night, then when we left at 11:30 am, the whole bunch was in the area breakfast was served brushing each others hair, and fixing makeup acting like it was a private ... Stayed on 2nd floor, floor creaked in about half of the room, and the hallway doors were extremely loud when closed from inside our room. Hotel structure is suspect. Also, smoke alarm made intermittent noise, had to be replaced by maintenance.

Had a bunch of 3 and 4th grade girls for basketball tourney. Staff could not have been more helpful. We used the pool and lounge area as resting placce between games for most of the team, many of which were not staying at the Hampton. Did not matter, staff were very accommodating. Great experience for the girls.

The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was pleasant; however, the room smelled like my grandfather's hand dug, dirt floor, damp, and musty basement. I am used to the smell, and quickly ignored it, but my wife found it quite unpleasant. There is a Chili's across the street for a nice dinner if desired.

The breakfast offered scrambled eggs and turkey bacon my favorite one morning. I also enjoyed the outdoor pool but never found a hot tub. The rooms were clean and inviting and I especially liked the large walk in showers as I was injured and it was easy to get in and out. I would be happy to return.

1st off the staff was fine and the appearance was fine. The room were clean, but we had issues with the AC. There was no setting to allow the fan to stay on after the rooms reaches temperature allowing for air movement. As a result, we experienced noticeable temperature swings, going from all the covers to no covers, and the combined noise of both the fan and compressor engaging at the same time, causing us to wake up.

We stopped in Sequin on a long trip to El Paso. Needed somewhere convenient to I10 and this was the place. It's nothing fancy, just a standard Hampton Inn. It was clean, breakfast was as expected, and the front desk staff were wonderfully accommodating.

We stayed here a over the Labor Day weekend. The staff was very friendly. It appears they were doing some remodeling, but we heard no noise. The a/c was cold and the room very clean. Our room had a stand up shower only. I prefer a bathtub, but it appears shower only is the way of the future. They have gas grills outside for guests who want to cook but there are a few restaurants within walking distance (Chili's, IHOP, Giuseppe's Italian). We ate at all three and were pleased. There is a Holiday... Read more

Firstly, I LOVE Hampton Inn, they are my first choice wherever I go. I stayed at one a few weeks before this Labor Day trip. Customer service here was fantastic, always enjoy the coffee and breakfast, convenient location, but my husband and I did not sleep well at all during our 2 night stay. We bought ear plugs because of the disruptive noise of the A/C. When we checked in, we knew there was only 1 other room available, which was a smoking room. If we had to stay a week, we would have had to ch... Read more

I've stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites many times. Many aspects of the others were there but the hallway and my room smelled of chemical cleaners and cow pie. Not pleasant and couldn't hang my clothes in the closet due to the cow pie smell. Need to review this issue.

This is a nice hotel. We are HHonors members and favor the Hampton Inns because they are reliable, we know what to expect and are rarely disappointed. We chose this stop because we wanted to visit New Braunfels and didn't want to pay the prices if we stayed in town. It was a wise decision, only 15 minutes away. The staff at the Hampton Inns are without doubt some of the nicest people. Breakfast is the usual eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, choice of cereals, yogurts, waffle, fruits, breads. If ... This is a very handsome Hampton Inn property. It is located just off the Interstate. This is an ideal exit if you want to spend the night either before going through Houston, or after coming from there. The hotel sits with 2 other newer properties and there are several restaurants nearby like IHOP and Chili's.
