What an amazing hotel right in the center of downtown San Antonio Texas! If you are attending a convention in downtown SA, then this is the place you want to say. Minutes away from Henry B. Gonzalez Convention center. Just a few steps away from the legendary SA Riverwalk. Great rooms and view!! Can't wait to come back!

My husband took my son and his friend to stay downtown to celebrate their 13th birthday. Staff surprised the boys with a delivery of a piece of cake, cupcakes and berries. They were very surprised and excited to have something special delivered to their room, The room was nice and they loved the roof top swimming pool! Thank you to the staff for making the boys birthday special!

The hotel had been over sold at my check-in so I had to be shuttled to another Hyatt property 15 miles away. The staff were the only saving grace for The Grand Hyatt San Antonio!!! Huge disappointment only because being relocated 15 miles from my event and this being the "host hotel" my initial meetings were canceled or difficult to make. There were hotel staff that went above and beyond than just being polite!! The late night Front Desk Manager Bryant Chandler informed me that the hotel had bee... Read more

When you walk in, the lobby & area around the lobby is very impressive & nice. The bar area overlooking the riverwalk is welcoming & nice place to hang out with friends, etc. We stayed here because our daughter was competing in a gymnastics competition next door at the Convention Center. As it turns out, that would be about the only reason I would recommend this hotel to friends or family. The room was extremely average for the price and I'm probably being nice. Not much else to write - if ... Read more

The hotel is ok. Location is good. Ruth Chris steakhouse on property. Our weekend stay was destroyed by the useless valet service at a charge of $80 for the weekend. We were trying to get out of the city for a long drive home on a Sunday night and the valet refused to bring the car around claiming we'd not paid. It was to be charged to the room. I did not check the bill closely when I check out. They forgot to do so. They demanded I go to the hotel front desk to confirm this. They... Read more

The room was modern, clean and comfortable, lounge chair and desk chair, good TV, only two drawers and not a lot of bathroom counter space. Big closet. The king bed and pillows were very comfortable. Lots of lights for reading. Quick elevators even with big conventions there. Perks had good breakfast quick sandwiches. Of course, Ruth's Chris was grreat. I forgot my toothbrush, called down and had one inside ten minutes free. Valet parking quick but not cheap. Concierge very helpful with d... Read more

Grand Hyatt is a pretty good hotel. The staff is pretty helpful, though there were some hiccups on check-in. They offered us a suite upgrade for a price, and after saying yes and being pretty excited about it, they told it was not available...kind of a downer. The club room is great and the staff up there is super friendly. Some of the nicest people you're ever meet. I can't commend them enough. Rooms were pretty good overall, but could have been a little cleaner for the price. Overall ... Read more

Hotel was practically immaculate. Staff was courteous the entire time except for the doormans phone charging but a misunderstanding overall. Waitress in bar definitely needed more help for the weekend rush. Last issue was the water temprature in the shower took roughly 5 min to heat up. Everything else was perfect.
