IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The languid San Antonio River and its famed River Walk connect many downtown attractions, including the Alamo Plaza and HemisFair Park. Built for the 1968 Worlds Fair, HemisFair Park is the site of the 750-foot Tower of the Americas. Visitors, though, wont forget the Alamo, site of the legendary 1836 battle between Mexican soldiers and Texan secessionists. Nearby, Mexican goods fill El Mercado.

More To See and Do

  • The Riverwalk - One of the highlights of visiting the river is the river cruise, a 35-40 minute historical tour along the Riverwalk.
  • The Alamo - A treasured Texas monument symbolizing courage and sacrifice for the cause of Liberty is a must see attraction during your visit to San Antonio. Take in over 300 years of history on your tour and forever ``Remember the Alamo!``
  • San Antonio Museum of Art - Housed in an old brewery building this museum is full of Hispanic art both ancient and modern, an oriental collection and contemporary art.
  • Plus So Much More!

Born and raised in San Antonio, but don't live there anymore. This is hands down the dirtiest, most sketchy hotel I have stayed in my hometown. Aside from the room smelling like a stale cigarette (in a non smoking room), there were cigarette burns EVERYWHERE. The bed spread, the bathtub, counters, ects. There was actually a black & mild end put out in the A/C unit vent. Speaking of the A/C, the vent was COVERED with mold, so we couldn't use it. Everything is outdated. The door looked like it had... 1. not the best neighborhood for kids 2. right underneath an overpass(Not near the Riverwalk or Alamo) Name is deceiving. Its about a 20 minute walk. Review of "first room" 3. when we got to room the tv was on, room reeked of bleach. 4. lipstick kiss on room window and a large phone number carved into the night stand. 5. room was non smoking but comforter and chair had cigarette marks and smells 6. carpet was grungy. We then asked for a new room, which was a little better except; the door ha... Read more

On "Fiesta" weekend the night duty receptions was very helpful, calm, and professional at nearly 11pm with rush of people and phone calls. She multi-tasked, acknowledged people with a professional greet and warm smile, fulfilling everyone's request. Housekeeping helpful, other receptions on various duties informative and accurate regarding alternative transportation, various locations and events. Room average nothing fancy, remember it's a "motel" not "Hotel." Purpose of our mini-trip was to par... Read more

the location was good not too in to downtown but not so far away, the stay was quiet, no problems and the people at the front desk are so awesome, the only thing I think that needs to be done is that they need to upgrade to flat screen TV's, but other than that everything was great

I stayed at this motel awhile back and I can't remember the room number, I know it was upstairs in 200 something. Anyways, first thing I noticed it wasn't a good side of town and the people staying there looked odd. I figured, well I can deal with this cause I've stayed at Super 8 motels in the past and never had a problem. Well, it was one night only, I had a long day so, I fell asleep early and woke up in the middle of the night to see a bed bug crawling next to me on my pillow, I'm assuming i... Read more

I took my mother to visit her family and have a holiday. Hotel is very noisy, which put me completely off. Other guest noise including their kids cry and scream comes directly to your ear as if someone scream in yyour ear, which is complete no,no. Pool was not used for ever and so is a broken washer and dryer. It had a so so Break fast, but very warm and friendly, texasian kind staffs. My personal recommendation, as someone who hate noise is no,but if you have ear as big as a gate and dont mind suc... Read more
