Last night Brenda at the front desk took great care of me ! From my phone call earlier that night to checking in. She's a total rock star and I can not wait to go back to this location whenever I'm down town San Antonio because of her total sweet heart!!! :)

I had a problem with a 3rd party booking on the day of check in and Brenda from the Red Roof Inn helped me clear the mess. I was very upset and she maintained her composure and professionalism! THANK YOU BRENDA!!

We were four sisters and three friends visiting San Antonio. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating . Another sister and I use ice packs for various orthopedic issues. The front desk staff was more than willing to keep them frozen for us. Brenda was able to arrange for us to use a conference room so that we could play dominoes and have a pizza party. Many thanks to all of them. Somewhat on the negative side, the carpeting in the first floor hallways really needed to be cleaned... Read more

Every time we visit San Antonio our go to hotel is this hotel because its staff is very friendly and overall great service its also very close to the Riverwalk. It was cool. I would recommend it to everyone on the planet. You service is no match for other hotels. I would live there if i could. I enjoyed the mints that appeared when we first showed up. I also liked the view from the window and wish there was a balcony. Nonetheless, good job and have a happy mothers day!

The good first, the staff at the front desk were very nice. They have remodeled and the hotel looks nicer. Now the bad. They charge 15.00 per day to park in their parking lot. That is ridiculous to me. I have never stayed at a hotel and had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot. The mattresses they use are rock hard, so uncomfortable. My back hurt so bad from that mattress. Also no more Continental breakfast served here, only juice and coffee, I will never stay here again. Very different from... Read more

Staff was very rude, and almost script like with their sarcasric responses. Wouldn"t honor online pricing, and charged 15 bucks to park a motorcycle for 2 nights. No warm and fuzzies here sadly. Rhe room is okay, no good views as you are between the interstate and a shippimg warehouse. Dogs are allowedx good and bad as one barked entire time i was here a few doors down. The cleanliness waa good with the exception of one bed skirt. Looks like it haa mold on it. I wouldn't stay here again...

This hotel is in an excellent location = withing walking distance of the Alamo and Riverwalk. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Only drawback is that it does not offer a breakfast like every other Red Roof we have stayed at on this 10,000 mike roadtrip around the US.

When we arrived we were told there was a $15.00 parking charge which we were not expecting. There was also no breakfast available or freezing compartment in the room fridge. The biggest disappointment was the bed, which was one of the most uncomfortable of any we've experienced. The staff were businesslike. It was relatively close to the Riverwalk and easily accessible to I 37.

Considering the price you paid, is by far the best afrodable option. Very well located on a walking distance from the Alamo and downtown. Hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need (safe, wifi, fridge even a desk). Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is our second Red Roof hotel and always is a good experience. Highly recommendable.

No hot water for showering we told the front desk staff the previous day of the issue but still wasn't fixed the following day, also the other couple we are traveling with had a toilet which hadn't been cleaned properly and stains on their bedding, apart from that would be a good choice

If you're a proud gun owner and you have your LTC, leave it in the car. One of the many places in San Antonio with both 30.06 and 30.07 signs in the lobby. Early check in? Forget it, they'll give you the runaround. Call us in the morning, call us when you're heading this way and finally call us when you get to San Antonio. And prepare to pay$15 for parking!! They are in a convenient location downtown, close to the Alamo and panhandlers right outside the motel.

I must say I'm very disappointed in the overall of this hotel,. The staff is pretty unfriendly for the afternoon/ evening check in's. the floor would have been a better place to sleep then on the bed , as the bed was hard as hell. There was damage I'm the room and the they didn't come fit it per the front desk person . And the parking fee is relly stupid. Make sure u park next door for $3 a day. Instead of$15 No compliment breakfast, but it was a relly quite place to stay.

Was attending a conference at the convention center - this was a very short, easy walk and about 1/2 the cost of other area hotels. Less than 10 minutes to the convention center, and about 10 to the RiverWalk area, about 10 to the Alamo. We did have some problem with the hot water being out one day, but Morgan quickly asked if I would like a free movie and popcorn which made up for the temporary inconvenience. Then I left something in my room and Mariaha found it for me and got it returned. ... Read more

We arrived almost an hour after check in only to be told that our room wasn't ready. The staff was not friendly and did not offer anything in exchange for us waiting for the room. When we finally got into the room it was filthy. The carpet was sticky and there were mysterious red stains on the comforter and sheets. The room was also much smaller than pictured and smelled like armpits. Also good to note is that they charge you $1.50 plus tax/per night for the safe and you have to call to get it r... Read more

I'm not much of a connasuier of hotels, we usually go to the cheapest one and hope for the best in terms of cleanliness and location. But as this was our vacation, our first one with our kids, we wanted a hotel that was within walking distance of the Alamo, Plaza and Riverwalk, cheap enough that it didn't break the bank, but still nice enough that it felt like a treat and not just the cheapest hotel on the block. We called ahead during our four hour drive there asking for the prices, and this wa... Read more

The big plus for me about the Red Roof Inn was that it was within walking distance of the Riverwalk & Alamo, as well as the train station, as I was catching an early morning train to Illinois out of San Antonio. The staff were nice & courteous, the room was clean and I slept well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 circles for the very reasonable price is that one does have to walk under an underpass to get to the Riverwalk. There was a quite popular pool there which I did not use.

We stay here for it's location, close to our venue (At & T Center) for concerts. Simple no frills, but affordable and comfortable, friendly staff, we like a west view of the expressway/downtown. No longer serve breakfast but they do have snacks in the lobby you can buy, and a microwave.$15 parking fee. No stores or restaurants nearby unless you drive up east to H.E.B (grocery store), Jack n Box, and a drugstore. Spaghetti Warehouse (restaurant) near the hotel. Probably 10- 15 minute walk to Alam... I was really disappointed with the price for this hotel, given what I was provided. When we got ready to shower, there were dirty towels that had been folded (to appear that they were clean). It completely grossed me out to unfold them and see brown disgusting gunk all over them. I couldn't help but question what else in the room was not clean. I did inform the front desk of the issue and they jokingly provided me with new ones. The bed and pillows are hard and not very comfortable. We had an 8 ... Read more

I want to thank Jesse, he was very polite, and he made my stay in San Antonio enjoyable. He went above and beyond to take care of me and my family. If he is not a manager, Red Roof should consider making him a manager. Customer service is what he knows and extended to me and my family. Because of the service I received from him, I have already referred a friend.

Great Location, were upgraded to a premium room. The parking was reasonable, secure and walking distance to the riverwalk. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, checking was a little slow but checkout was a breeze. Room was big and spacious and we had a free treat box in the fridge for every night that we stayed.

The staff at the Red Roof Plus was wonderful, I was greeted by Morgan on the front desk, who was a wealth of information concerning downtown San Antonio. The staff was very kind, but, I really didn't understand what the "PLUS" is about, maybe because they have a microwave and fridge, which was nice and clean. They don't serve breakfast and the bathroom could stand some improvement. You can tell they have done some remodeling and I like the fact that there was no carpet in the heavy traffic area. The room was clean and the housekeeping and front desk staff were extremely welcoming. The only real issue I believe we had was the noise level when patr... Read more

We visited on a Saturday night while we were in town celebrating my daughters birthday. We got into town early and went to park our car early in the parking lot, went inside and noticed several people checking in early. But I was told I needed to wait 30 mins until the 3pm check in time. Went to the restroom and came back to someone that was behind me checking in early. Not sure why I wasn't checked in?
