Stayed for four night on business. Had a great stay with wonderful staff. On the day I left there was a huge rain storm and the staff stood by with umbrellas to assist guests out to their cars. the hotel location is walking distance to several restaurants and minimal driving time to movies and shopping.

This hotel was very clean and is close to a variety of food places within walking distance. Great staff and the gym has better equipment than most hotels with Precor cardio equipment, a few machines, and even kettle bells. Definitely recommend. Room could of used a fridge and microwave, but that wasn't a big deal for me.

This stay was excellent. I would recommend this site for future conference events. The site is unique in that it offers great facilities for a conference but yet abundant parking, a diverse array of food facilities in close proximity to the hotel, and the freedom to come and go which is important for large groups of diverse populations of attendees that all want something a little different in terms of food service. This hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at for a large convention.

Excellent Customer Service- this team surpasses the level they are expected to provide, and make a difference in each clients experience, especially mine! I dealt with a major health issue, and theystepped in immediatley to assist in any way they possibly could. Accessible to freeway and only about 20 minutes from downtown. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Pools, yes POOLS, were a nice area to relax and hang out after a long day on the road. The only negative thing that I could say, which isn't really a big deal, is that the bathroom and vanity area were a little small for my taste.

Hotel staff is polite, friendly, and accommodating. Lobby is luxuriously appointed, in the style expected of Omni. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but in need of updating (wallpaper starting to peel, furniture showing signs of wear). I requested a corner king room, and the double windows views were lovely. I will stay at this property again, though next time, I will request a room away from the highway, as the noise was a little much at night.

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The hotel is very convenient to Sea World, Fiesta Texas, and the downtown/riverwalk area. We would definitely stay here again. The pool area is very nice, and our kids loved it. The only drawback to that is that the drinks/snacks were very overpriced IMO. They were delicious, but $12 + tip for a weak 10oz. margarita is a little steep. And $4 a piece for push up pops, for the kids, is a little unreasonable IMO as well. That notwithstanding, we did enjoy our stay in th... Read more

The staff is very good. They are polite and very responsive. The hotel is in a decent area, pretty quick to downtown, and clean. There is a nice indoor pool and an outdoor pool, both with jacuzzi. There is also a staffed bar at the outside pool. That was impressive. The only down side is that, although it is clean, it is need of updating. I would come back.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it is supposed to be a 4 Star hotel, well in their defense the hotel seems to have been tried to get renovated but it looks more like a 3 star, old furniture, old shower fixtures, poor preventive maintenance in the rooms. I booked through seaworld vacations and got a rate of $112 for the 4th of July. Not worth it in my opinion. Rather spent that or a little more somewhere else more modern. In their defense, parking is free.

The only thing that saves the hotel from being rated "terrible" by me is that the room was clean, bathroom was working, and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking to feel valued, do not choose this hotel. The room looks fabulous. But it's what you don't see that will ruin you. Shifted around in bed while I sleep being that I'm not in my usual comfortable bed at home. Woke up abruptly when I felt the bare mattress under my feet. How many other people did that in this bed before me. Who knows! I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the room overall was very nice. The bed was incredible and the furnishings were opulent and comfortable. We had 2 minor set backs that took my rating of this hotel from 5 to 3. The first problem was the disgusting outdoor pool. Overall a decent experience. The staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is dated and it shows in the furnishings and in the bathroom. Very very nice - rooms were exceptional, bed was very comfortable and higher than others. We go to S.A. frequently for concerts, etc. - sure, it's a bit of a drive from venues such as the AT&T Center and Alamodome but the drive was well worth it. The rate was very good (for a Discovery cardholder) and the online check-in was very slick.

My last Omni stay at La Mansion on the San Antonio Riverwalk was less than spectacular and over priced. So I decided to go further out and was pleasantly surprised. So, you are heading to San Antonio and thinking about staying at the Omni? The thought running through your head is: Is this going to be an Omni that has been updated, neglected or somewhere in between? Amirite?
