Check in was friendly, fast and easy. But that's about it. This amenity is more likely a low cost motel then a two star hotel. The room was not clean when we walked in there was rice on the floor and water on the carpet where the AC is. The sheets smelled of bleach and we're not comfortable. The bathroom were the worst I have ever seen in hotel. There was stains on the tiles and the tub was nasty. There is no exhaust fan to suck the humidity out and the shower would only work on high. Our recent stay at La Quinta was a very pleasant one. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the lobby was cozy place. As for our room it was very clean and was stocked with all the amenities that we needed. The location was great as it has a wide variety of restaurants, shopping centers, movie theaters and attractions (like Sea World) Also the location has easy access to the freeway. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The front desk clerk even called me a few hours after arrival to make sure I was completely satisfied and found everything needed! The continental breakfast was also very good!

The check in began the nightmare. They had gotten my name wrong on the reservation. It was someone else's name and address with my phone number and debit card. I had to call my bank and make sure no one else had gotten access to my card during this time. Things went downhill from there. The clerk ran the cards thru wrong so that was another mess that I was told was taken care of at the time. After traveling all day we just wanted to go and relax. now over a month after my stay they are calling... Read more

The staff was friendly, the lobby was nice, and that is where it all stops. The room was old but clean, however the toilet flush chain kept falling off (so it would not flush), the bathtub faucet leaked all night. There was no vent in the extra small bathroom, so you can only imagine that. There is a pool, no hot tub. The breakfast was edible but not that good, the lady working the area was so nice and helpful.

Loved the room size! Staff was super friendly and definitely recommend this place to others! Restroom could be a little cleaner, rusty metals but otherwise good use of space. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very enticing! hehe

I got an excellent mid week price on a 2 room suite for me, my sister, and my two nieces. The room was perfect for us. The beds were comfy. I did kill one big water bug in the bathroom my first morning, but other than that, no problems. Staff was kind and called to see how our room was shortly after check in.

Room was clean and ready on arrival. This is an older hotel but still very clean. Slept well. Kids enjoyed the pool. It is very close to SeaWorld. Made getting to the park very quick and convenient. This is great for the end of the day when are you tired from being out in the sun all day.

Visiting San Antonio for our daughter's BMT graduation. This LA Quinta property is nice, clean and less expensive than the same property in the immediate vicinity of Lackland. Once you get on 410 you can reach the Valley Hi gate in 15 minutes. Pool is nice, and towels are available, although we needed to request towels after 8pm. We had an executive king room with a pull out sofa and were able to use a roll away bed at no additional charge. The only downside was there were no extra blank... Read more

Fairly good location next to Seaworld and the River Walk. Breakfast buffet needs to be policed more to clean up after the not so neat customers. More seating would be good also. Clean rooms, no freeway noise and a cool pool made it a pretty good stay.

I would pay 60 bucks a night. But if your looking at a room for 109 price range... you will feel ripped off. There are much nicer places to stay for that price. Couch was stained and I did not want my 5 yr old to sit with no sheet on it. Trip fall hazards. Noisy ceiling fan. Staff didnt answer phone in morning. On the plus side... dennys is close and bill millers. Room was large. . But overall had this poor outdated project like atmosphere. Don't over pay here.

The hotel is old but fairly clean and stayable for short term; however, the rooms do not have microwaves or mini-fridges in the rooms. It was noisy sometimes at night. When ready on time, which was not often, the breakfast was okay, but there was not enough help to set it up since the front desk had to set up the breakfast bar as well as wait on customers checking in and out. The hotel has potential but doesn't live up to it.

Both had a musty and mold smell, there were dead bugs around, a lot of dust, carpet was VERY dirty, all 4 beds had stains all around it. the lights didn't work, toilets wouldn't flush well. Sunday morning, we went to have breakfast around 8:05 am and most of the stuff were already gone, when we asked if they can refill, they said sorry they cannot!!! and by 9 they were putting whatever was left away!

First off the staff were very nice. Helpful, polite and just great people. The facility... It was bad. I'm sure the cleaning crew is doing there best but you can't put lipstick on a pig. This place needs to be completely redone. Our room smelled bad, the tub was somewhat slimy. The front door has such a gap on the floor a snake could get in. I used my comforter to block the gap. It's just really old and has been neglected. I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking!
