I stayed only one night but it was enough to see how good was its service. Location is near from Alamo and Riverwalk, (5-7 minutes walking distance) and they offer shuttle service what it's very appreciated due my little baby girls. Breakfast was very good and room was nice and clean, bed was very comfortable and i recommend this hotel for its cost, location and service.

I had a friend arrive from another country & this friend also works for an international airline & even she was impressed by the standard of this hotel, the room, the sheets everything was great. The staff were incredible, the shuttle bus folks were so nice & the good thing is you don't have to drive anywhere as everything is in walking distance after you get off the shuttle. The morning breakfast was great, even the people staying there were so friendly felt like a little family. I will cert... Read more

The room was clean and well-furnished. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the friendly shuttle service and the free parking. The free breakfast offered everything you could want.

Made reservations several months ago and had no idea this was San Antonio's annual Fiesta celebration. The staff, especially Stephanie, was super helpful and we took her advice and toured the Alamo and the River Walk immediately after check-in since the parades and Fiesta officially started the next day. We had a great room and free parking. The free breakfasts were also good. Convenient location to downtown San Antonio.

Great downtown hotel without downtown prices and free parking. Shuttle runs to downtown. Area a little sketchy but not scary. 5 minutes to Rivercenter Mall. Kitcenette, sofa sleeper that actally wasn't too bad to sleep on. Great AC!!

We spent a week at this hotel and were very happy about our stay. It's only about a mile away from the Alamo in downtown San Antonio, so the location is great. We had our own car, but opted to take the complementary shuttle for most of our trips downtown. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they seriously made us feel very welcome. The rooms were nice, the internet was good, and we didn't have any problems with noise. You also can't beat a complementary breakfast, they even... Read more

I can't believe the level of service that I received at this property. From the front desk people to the maintenance man. Everyone was real and personable. I felt like everyone appreciated my business. While the hotel is a bit out of my usual comfort zone for location it made up for it with the customer service. Room was very comfortable but the furnishings need to be updated (desk chair was in poor shape). Breakfast was adequate and plentiful. My issue is with the breakfast and that I go... Read more

Can't say enough good things about our stay here! We stayed for 3 days. I will review as many aspects of the hotel and our experience as I can: I'm going to start by saying we stayed in May and the hotel was busy but did not seem to be fully booked and high season had not started yet. That may have had an impact on our stay... 1. We checked in the first evening and our room on the 3rd floor was not as clean as I would like. The first thing I do is check the beds (sheets etc) and the bathroom. Th... Read more

The hotel was close to downtown and the River walk..The staff went out of its way to make you happy. The young lady at night was a A+ in helping us find places to eat. The rooms are old and needs a make over but it was clean tho.

Good hotel- a 5-10 minute walk to the river walk area. But prices are better than most, breakfast was very good and it was a clean. Obviously remolded recently but not a destination hotel. Pool too small to list as an amenity in our opinion. Would use again.

The hotel is close to riverwalk area and downtown (~1-1.5 mile). But the temperature in July is extremely high so we had to drive from the hotel to a public parking near the riverwalk. Thus. the hotel is not close enough. The stay was convenient but the breakfast was not, especially for vegetarians.

I was in town for business this past week and I cannot say enough about the wonderful hardworking staff here.Everyone was so great to me and my girlfriend all week. The room was kept up nicely all week and the breakfast was great. Most importantly the people working here are so nice, humble and hardworking. Everyone was really great but the two people who I will remember the most are Jay and Louanne. They would take us into the Riverwalk area every day throughout the day on the shuttle bus. They ... Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! Great location, free parking, free breakfast... What more could you ask for? They even have a complimentary shuttle that leaves every half hour and it will take you to the river walk or market square & pick you up. The first driver, LouAnn was very sweet & friendly & knew her way around the area & gave us great directions to what we were looking for. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, great stay and definitely affordable!

After a long drive, we arrived at the hotel around 11:30am, knowing that we may not get my room, but thought I would check. To my surprise, they had a room open and my coworker and I were able to check in early! The hotel is located in a "fair" location. Close enough to where our conference was without taking the interstate. The room was clean with a small fridge and microwave in the middle of the room, dividing the room and the couch/seating area. The hotel is dated somewhat, but clean. I am use... Read more

Internet not working x2 during my weeklong business stay and no one able to help. Changed rooms due to broken AC / room like a sauna. Sat in lobby for almost an hour to stay cool until AC could be checked and they asked me to bring the old keys back down to desk after I moved ... Really?! I haven't had dinner yet and am exhausted! Had to wait for new room to be arranged because desk clerk was "handling a lot of calls right now". Breakfast room so crowded you have to squeeze between tables to get... Read more

Hotel was in walking distance of the Alamodome which was another benefit for us. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and other extras. The cinnamon rolls for breakfast was the best I ever had along with other great selection to choose from. The staff at the front desk was the best also. Over all a great stay.

This hotel was close to everything and quiet. Parking was free and food was fair. The room layout was strange and bathroom was small. A/c worked very well there were two tv's in two rooms but only one remote??? The carpet was old and had a lot of stains throughout the building. They have down comforter and I'm allergic so that wasn't fun!!

Nice small hotel, staff very friendly. Pool only big enough for one, sorry but not recommended for family, but if alone on trip for business , its ok. Breakfast was buffet but not very good! Plus it located in not so good area of town.

We stayed here for two nights while in San Antonio in a suite that was comped to us by a family friend. The hotel is not on the Riverwalk but about a ten minute walk away. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the Riverwalk area on the hour and half hour until 10:30 pm. The property is very nice and the suite we stayed in was huge. You could have put three queen size mattresses in the floor area of the bathroom and still had plenty of room. The personnel were very nice, the breakfast was huge... Read more

We stayed about a week at this hotel. We used the shuttle service with no issues and the drivers were helpful with places to visit. The only time the shuttle was delayed was when a shuttle full was needing a ride at the time we wanted to go back, but still didn't wait 30 minutes. The staff at this hotel was wonderful, didn't matter who I was talking to they were all polite and helpful. We got upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. This hotel was so much more comfortable than the stuffy downtown hotel I first stayed in for my conference. The rooms are lovely and clean and breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Stephanie at the front desk and Rebecca our food manager were delightful and very helpful! I had a rental car, but the shuttle took me right down to the Riverwalk was only minutes away when I called for my pick up. And there was no extra charge for parking my car. It also seemed very family friendly. I would h... Read more

We stayed here one night. The hotel is about 5 minutes away driving distance from Downtown San Antonio. The hotel offers free shuttle service to anywhere in Downtown which is also great they offer free breakfast which was very good. We stayed in room 119 and the room itself was great but, what we did not like was the LOUD noise coming from the pool. Right next to our window was what seemed to be some type of filter machine room for the pool, it is loud and will not let you watch TV or even slee... Read more

I always try to find a location near the Riverwalk for my stays while in San Antonio on business, but with corporate guidelines I need to keep my stays at a reasonable rate. That is nearly impossible downtown. This location is one my standby go to hotels. It is an easy walk to the tourist areas of the Riverwalk, but still providing free parking and reasonable priced stays. The hotel is about a half mile walk and across the freeway from Rivercenter mall, so it is a stretch calling the hotel a R... Read more

The hotel was not bad except for the horrible smell of ammonia in our room. I do not know if other rooms smelled, but even with window wide open, bathroom fan on and the room door open it was impossible to air out the smell. Everything looked clean, so I suspect it was hidden by the dark carpet. Perhaps pet pee? or worse?? The location is not far from the "action", and the shuttle van was very useful. It dropped us by the iconic red statue of Peace and it was only a block or so to the Alam... Read more

Our room was clean plus we had a pull out bed so my kids were able to sleep separate as they wanted. The shower pressure was awesome plus the water had a clean bleach smell (i know some cant stand that). The toilet was elongated but low, but again the water pressure was there too, flush with no worries. Plus the bath room had a vent unlike many places. The shuttle was a big plus Very Friendly drivers no need to worry about driving and parking in River walk area. The only draw backs were the vie... Read more
