We've stayed here many times over the years. The hotel has friendly and helpful staff. There are also many fun kids activities including s'mores by the fire, evening movies, and 3 pools. It is very close to Sea World and a short drive from other San Antonio attractions.

Although the staff was great and the lobby was lovely, we paid extra for a "Courtyard View" and ended up looking out over a roof. Hilton's accommodation was to give us 2000 Hhonors points which is ridiculously meager and unusable since we don't plan on visiting another Hilton. Two bad stays in two different cities in a year is enough.

Carpet felt dirty. Roach was crawling across carpet along wall near the bathroom. And my wife got bit by something during the night. Time for a renovation and extermination! And, to make matters worse, there was not beer to wallow in :( the lobby bar, on a saturday, wasn't open until 3pm. Infant, there was no restaurant at all open until 3pm. Additionally, the pool side bar/cafe didn't open at all on a Saturday! And the pool was packed!

Our stay was lovely. The room was spotless. We were able to check in at 9am with no issue at all. Everyone remembered our names and addressed us as such. Amanda at the front desk was particularly helpful, as was the Sunset Restaurant staff. We had so much fun!

The staff is nice. And the location is superb if you are trying to visit SeaWorld. The room was cleaned and well maintained and the bathroom was good. However, if they know there is more than one person in the party, they should put more bathroom amenities to cover for the whole amount of people on the room. Don't eat there. Service is terrible. Firepits outside are nice. Bar is good. Pools are very nice. Hottub was broken during trip. Location is good for Seaworld. Seems to be hotel used by Seaworld guests. Shuttle available.

I chose this location for one night to be near a client visit. This is a large hotel but is in nice shape, and customer service was very good. While it was cold out when I was here, the pool does look nice. Check in was fast and efficient. As a HHonors Diamond member they upgraded me to a nice king suite on the Executive Floor. I was concerned after reading reviews for this property and I had just booked it for a 2 night stay on the weekend. Must say that the concerns were unnecessary. There were a couple of things that can be fixed but overall the stay was pleasant. The property is a mile from SeaWorld and they have a free shuttle every 15 minutes. We have stayed here often in the past few years and it is our favorite hotel in San Antonio. Friendly staff and great location. Beautiful surroundings. The fire pits with 's'mores are a huge hit with families as well as the poolside movies.

The Staff was very helpful. The restaurant food was very good. The pool was clean and tidy. The firepits were cozy to sit around and talk in the evening. I would recommend this hotel especially if you're going to Seaworld.

Clean. Quiet. Good location. Would recommend a suite over a regular room. Parking got hard at night, but there were always spaces, just far from the door if you are carrying a lot. Valet is available sometimes it seemed, but not always.

Great hotel for the price. Very clean and comfortable. Have stayed at this hotel approximately 5-7 times and will return. I recommend this hotel and any family with children or couples wanting to get away from it all and have some alone time.

If you're going to spend a day or two at sea world, this hotel is the perfect place to stay. Very close to the park, and there is a free shuttle from hotel to park. The three outdoor pools are beautiful.

Hotel was nice and had many amenities which made the stay enjoyable. Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and the pizza was actually really good. We added the upgraded arm band that gave us free popcorn and sodas through out our stay and was well worth it. You were also suppose to get a discount on food with it but each time we ordered room service they were not sure how to apply the discount so I am not sure what that was all about but since the prices were reasonable I didn't complain... I generally really enjoy Hilton Hotels as an avid traveler. To get straight to the point: the "Lower" level of this hotel is an absolute disgrace for Hilton. It is the same level as laundry room and maintenance rooms and the smell is atrocious. Our rate was pretty good, and the room was clean enough...but I was really disappointed. We paid extra for the Executive room upgrade that was to include two queen beds (They were on the very small side compared to our queen at home) an evening reception (unless a bowl of potato chip crumbs and leftover breakfast fruit counts, there was none) and breakfast. I have to say that I am disappointed in my stay at this hotel. I left a previous rating of 5 stars because it was a excilent stay last time. This time we got executive King suit with a pull out bed that we booked with a jetted tub. The only reason we got such a expensive room was for the Jetted tub. We got there and the tub was not working. Comfortable Hilton with good parking, excellent for traveling businesspeople, good location. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the Riverwalk was nice. The staff was very upbeat and helpful, yet unobtrusive.

Please make sure handicap amenities are all available and in working order. Chair lifts at the pool did not have batteries and the hotel did not have them. I was unable to enjoy the pool with my family.

Not great service. Room smelled like a wet dog. Night staff totally unhelpful. Day staff better. Have stopped doing the grilling by the pool which was really nice when they did that. Our 6th time there and it has gotten progressively worse. Probably won't stay again. It's so close to sea world is why we've kept going.

Great hotel. Will definitely stay again. Love that you bring up bags of ice to the rooms. All staff was very pleasant. Good breakfasts. We expected to hear a lot of noise from kids going to Sea World, but didn't. Rooms were very quiet!

We spent two nights here arriving early afternoon-130pm. Room on exec floor was ready to our surprise. Aubrey greeted us and had a wonderful attitude even though busy! She arranged tee time across street at Hyatt Hill Country with great speed. She also helped us the next day and remembered we needed the shuttle for golf-it was ready and waiting at 8am-THANKS ALOT! Don't believe the negative reviews...the hotel is wonderful! Pool area constantly cleaned and snack bar is a plus for the adults! The outdoor movie and s'mores was a win with my kiddos. From arrival to departure, all staff at the Hilton were welcoming and made us feel valued. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. This place is hard to review. For just a hotel, it's great. It has fun stuff for kids in the summer. Sea World is really close. They have room service and two restaurants. However, for a resort and spa, they need to pick up their game. There are plenty of "1st world problems" that need to be addressed. Our toilet didn't work right. This place is amazing for family vacations. Sea world is close and the shuttle service is free and runs pretty fast and on time. I would suggest that you spend the little extra money and get a suite that allows more space for the kids to run around. The regular rooms are spacious although the suites are only a few more dollars and worth it.

General Manger Allen is the one you need to speak with concerning issues. The night manager isnt any help at all and needs his attitude in line with Hilton. Booked a particular room but didnt get it upon check in for a day or two.

Excellent customer service. Roasted marshmallows fro the kids and a movie every night. Pools were great! Highly recommend! Close to Seaworld and free shuttle. It was awesome! No parking and no walking from parking lot. Huge rooms.

She was very helpful, despite the late hour she did everything she could to accommodate our requests. She's a gem! We stayed one night before heading home from our San Antonio/Austin visit. It's located 25 minutes from downtown but is right next to Sea World so a good location if visiting SW is in your plans. Stayed in this hilton while visiting seaworld. Location is very good, and it has its own shuttle service to the theme park. Be careful when you use the shuttle service and you want to go back to the hotel because it can take a while, I even called twice to the hotel asking about the shuttle and had to wait almost an hour... which is not fun after a long day of walking in seaworld.

Enjoyed the hotel while in S.A for shooting competition. Great stay for a pet friendly hotel! Only complaint was with the room service. We tried to call in an order at 9:30 on Friday night and left message and call was never returned. Several attempts were made but finally gave up.

We stayed here for our trip to sea world. The shuttle back and forth was outstanding. Primo was the best shuttle driver by far. Great place to stay as a family. In-room breakfast and nightly s'mores were what our family took advantage of the most. Definitely will go back in the future.

First off, the door didn't work to get into our room, called to have it fixed and it never happened. As soon as we arrived we called to ask for an upgrade or room change and were told we had the best room/view (which was facing a cement wall) staff were very rude and short and did nothing to help the situation. So with two adults, 2 kids and a dog we felt like we paid extra but had very little room to move around. The second problem we had was getting help with our luggage from the car to the room. Nice hotel / Great Staff / Very family friendly / Suggest you stay away from the ends of the hall by the stairs...a little noisy NOTE: Microwave, Refrigerator and Breakfast at additional cost unless you're Hilton Gold Member, so if you must have travel costs approved in advance, have a look at these additional fees.

Hotel is dirty and in need of maintenance. Carpets worn and stained; mildew in bath area. Executive lounge is nonexistent. Fountain drink machine does not work; no ice available either in the lounge or on the floor--must call for a bag to be brought from elsewhere in the hotel. Taking two 6-year-olds on a first visit to SeaWorld can be exhausting in 102 degree heat so thankfully we had the Hilton to retire to & recharge at less than a mile away! Beautiful hotel. Very frustrated that I did not earn points for staying 7 nights!!! Our rates were almost $1600 for a week. We paid for a balcony room. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The reception desk was manned with a friendly staff who were quick to answer questions or offer assistance. The hotel smelled great! The authentic feel of this texan ranch is a great getaway for families! Our kids loved the pool, lazy river, movie on the lawn, and bike trails. All of the trees alleviate the summer heat. We used reward points to book this hotel for a last minute get away. I was pleased with the ability to get a bedroom suite with pull out sofa for a reasonable amount of points per night. Dirty room, no cold water from one of the sinks, dirty air filter in closet, deadbolt didn't work, items never fixed. Drain cover from shower not attached to floor, dust caked onto ceiling of bathroom, took 55 minutes to get a blanket because both workers told me they were on a break. Front desk couldn't do anything to help with my complaints.

We enjoyed the hotel but were unhappy for how dirty the pool was. On Sunday morning at 10am, my husband had to physically clean the pool himself with a pool net to take out all the leaves, bugs and debris from the night before. I don't expect to have to clean the pool at any hotel!

overall good experience. transportation staff-- one is very helpful and willing. the other is not so helpful and willing. Need more staff at the bar. Cesar salad excellent. This hotel tainted our entire vacation to Sea World. The service was terrible. Our AC never worked properly the entire time we were there. Complained multiple times but never resolved. We even left 1 night early to avoid having to sleep in pure discomfort another night. The pool was very dirty and never cleaned. This was booked through Sea World so that even limited how the hotel was willing to help us.

The breakfast buffet at the Sunspot Cafe was awesome. The fruit, especially the pineapple, was fresh and delicious. The sausage was also very good and the staff kept everything refilled and fresh, even though there was a big convention going on. Our server, Lisa was friendly and attentive. I was not impressed with this place at all. They seemed to be short staffed yet the hotel was completely sold out when we were there. If you are sold out you don't need to be short staffed. Close to Sea World with a free shuttle to and from the park. Lap pool, adult pool, and a family pool. My kids still talk about the pool. Fire pits outdoors to sit around. Outdoor movies. Large comfortable bar area. The hotel restaurant had nice breakfast options available but seemed understaffed. The room was clean and quiet, and the only thing I missed was a mini-fridge. Rooms were clean and provided just the right amount of space. Very close and convenient to sea world. Not too far from downtown. The pool and spa were heated and kept the kids occupied. This was not a good experience. We had no lights in our bathroom. The front desk sent some one and they could not believe. It's was not very clean, the room service was cold and our friends who also stayed there had a stopped up shower. They waited three hours to offer them a new room. Very poor management. In town for the National Sporting Clay National Championship. Hotel was conveniently located to the grounds. Room was comfortable and clean. Only issue was security of vehicles in the parking lot. Vehicles were vandalized during our stay. This seems to be a recurring problem in San Antonio during these shooting events.

The hotel is well managed and the rooms are very clean. There is a great outdoor patio section with fire pits for cool evenings. They also showed a movie out on the patio one night during our stay. The executive lounge was being renovated so the hotel gave free coupons for breakfast and snacks at the bar.

This hotel has a great location for my in town business. They offer breakfast coupons and bar coupons for Hilton Honors members. Used the restaurant once for a late dinner and was not impressed with service or food. The rooms have been nice, well appointed and as expected. We requested extra towels and pillow through the internet, they were not provided. It was ok, there was nowhere to hang a used towel, the hook had been ripped off the wall. The bathroom ceiling looked like my toddler was in charge of its repair. No luggage cart was available without the bellhop. If you want to do anything in San Antonio besides Seaworld, it will be a 30 minute drive to get anywhere. The grounds are gorgeous, but that is all there is. Overpriced for what they have.

The room was average but the rest of the hotel was lacking in many areas including amenities and restaurant service (very poor, unless you like to sit by yourself for a while). This hotels service exceeded my expectations. I made two requests by calling the front desk and both were responded to within minutes. If you're going to Sea World you can't beat the location! The pool is very nice and outdoor seating is lovely.

WE had a great time the service was great, the room was clean and presentable. I love the pillows and mattress.. The only thing I could complain about is the TV has such a delay between/when changing channels. It was annoying and the show schedule gives you nothing so you have to surf.

We were taking our kids (8, 4, 1 yo) to Seaworld and found a 'deal' for this hotel. This Hilton is not like the other Hiltons I've stayed at. It is more like a Hilton Garden Inn in terms of the interior of the hotel and the hotel room. Well, we got settled in and unpacked everything...just to see a huge cockroach on the curtains. Will not go back to this place. Filthy rooms (carpets were not washer in a very long time. My daughter's bottoms were black after wearing them in the room for few hours). The room was not cleaned until I asked for it on a 5th day on my stay (just fresh towels, new bathroom kits and made bed - using the same linen for all 7 days).
