Hotel was great. We only stayed one night, just a quick trip to visit colleges in the area. Breakfast the next morning was worth the stay :) Would recommend this hotel for anyone. It has a nice indoor pool, great for kids.

First there was no one to check us in at the front desk for approximately 10 minutes. Then discovered there was no airport shuttle in the morning, at the "San Antonio Airport" hotel no less. Had to get a cab which hotel did at least compensate one way. Poor service at breakfast to end an overall dissatisfying stay.

This hotel is clean and friendly. The staff was most helpful and we will certainly plan to stay here again in the Fall. I was not aware that there was a charge for breakfast but this was not a problem because our room rate was more than a bargain.

We were going to the UTSA graduation and decided to stay here. It is not as up-scale as the places on the Riverwalk, but we have stay at Hilton Garden Inns before and were happy with the rooms, location and price. The rooms are somewhat generic with corporate furniture, not too special, but they are clean and had most everything we needed. We stayed here while in town for our son's graduation (so proud of him!) Every member of the front desk staff was helpful from check-in to check-out. The hotel rooms were clean well-kept despite the hotel's apparent age and housekeeping staff was very friendly! We also ate breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs. My husband and I stayed for 1 night on our 17th wedding anniversary. The hotel was awesome. Quick check in, great room, and the spa tub was amazing. Only drawback was we could only stay one night. Would love to go back for extended stay!

Great room great staff. A little difficult actually getting to hotel but once there was wonderful. Loved the garden tub especially after a nice wedding night. The interior is neat been a while since i stayed at a place like this. Morning service was way better than expected. The breakfast crew took this from 3.8 > 5 rating for me. Hotel itself is fine. It's an older property but well kept. Staff is friendly. Restaraunt is on par with expectation. Plenty of choices very close by if you desire to eat offsite. Beds are simply awful. Sleep on floor, sleep in bed...no difference. But they have nice linens. Fix the bed issue, and this becomes a great hotel. As is....its just okay.

I have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn property for 5 years now and have observed it steadily decline. The carpet is old and stained. Wallpaper is starting to peel off the walls in the bathroom. The mattresses need replacements. Will find another Hilton option.

I stayed for a week in this hotel for business. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The quality of the breakfast was superb. As for the location, it was easy to get everywhere I needed to without any issues.

The pool was great for our kids, because the heat index was 110 and it was great to get out of the sun after a long day on the road. We all got a good night's sleep in our quiet room. The breakfast was not good and is not worth the extra price. We would have gone out for breakfast if we had known that it was not included. The basic internet was fast. The staff was friendly and courteous.

I always enjoy the Garden Inns by Hilton because the staff is always very pleasant and the rooms are always comfortable. This hotel went the extra mile to text me in my room to make sure everything was to my liking. It was, there were no problems with the room or facilities. The room was pretty clean. The sink and tub barely drained. It was pretty stuffy in the room unless I had it turned to cold! No microwave, which I was expecting. But, it could have been worse! I am a smoker and there is only one place to smoke, which is right outside of the fitness center so I felt like it was in the wrong area and was kinda uncomfortable.

This was an ok hotel with average accommodations but we found it to be under staffed, especially in the evenings. We also found a huge live roach in our room crawling across the floor right by our infant twins. We immediately brought it to the staffs' attention and were met with a very simple "I'm sorry". The did not seem appropriately concerned or offer any sort of discount or voucher. I would not stay here again.

Rooms were not ready until 1.5 hours past stated arrival time. The first two rooms had water on the floor from the a/c and had to be swapped. The rooms were nice. The breakfast is overpriced but decent.

I was very impressed with a number of things at this hotel. First, they are super friendly & accommodating. They used their airport shuttle van to drive my daughter & I to a mall/theater because we didn't have a rental car the last day of our stay. Very kind! Nice location, room, lobby staff, and amenities. Terrible housekeeping service and cleanliness. Rooms were not made up on time, not well cleaned, toilet paper was not fully re-stocked and our forth towel kept disappearing. When my father in law called to have his room made up at 9PM the last night, he was asked "aren't you leaving?"

It is unique in the way it was built- not what you expect and it is a nice surprise. I have been here 8-10 times and everything is always the same. Very clean rooms, very comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly employees, from the shuttle drivers to housekeeping. The restaurant is always very clean and the food, especially breakfast is great. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great front lobby area with plenty of seating options. Breakfast buffet is awesome and has several delicious options. Rooms are kept clean. Common areas were just a bit warm, maybe due to the ceilings. Every customer service experience that we had was exceptional.

Nice staff, nice rooms and I am sure the food is good. The workout room is a little small, but its a hotel. The check-in process was very efficient. This should have been an ordinary and unremarkable business stay. Finding this place though was **very difficult**. GPS took me in different directions - none of which was to the hotel. Unfortunately, the smell of the room, the A/C freezing up, bad drainage in the tub, stained comforter and smelly linen made this stay uncomfortable. The staff changed the linen but the smell stayed. It is hard to see at first sight as soon as you enter the room you have been assigned and find a white comforter stained with red and feel that everything else is as dirty as the comforter.

Walking in the door was an unfresh smell. I asked how old is the property and was told about 20 years old. The clerk said why do you ask I said it smells really bad walking thru. I added you need some air freshener or something. It was a late check in and I had an early morning flight. we went for a Sea World trip. The hotel is far but not a bad drive to sea world and the price was great. Very clean, great staff! The pool is small but since we didn't have a lot of time at the hotel, it was fine!

We left a box of donuts overnight and was full of ants in the morning. I got extra hhonors points after I informed the counter. None of the ice machines worked. Restaurant was understaffed on a Sunday morning so naturally it didn't feel like good service;low supply of coffee and no ice.

While the only reason that I booked this hotel was due to the fact that it was the only room available for that weekend (Garth Brooks was in town), it ended up being a good experience. Door locks will not stay programmed and you have to make trip after trip back down to the front desk to get a new one. Three times in one eve I had to do this. Came in from business one day, new key. Came down to the gym, new key. Came down for dinner, new key. It got to a point where I just asked for a bunch of extras keys. Rooms were fine, food was usual, lobby smells of cigarette smoke add they allow people to smoke right in front of the entry.

Location, location, location. it was near everything; airport, mall, Riverwalk and the Alamo were 20 mins away. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle was on time and helped me get to my flight on time. Internet (wireless) was complimentary but slow in some rooms and dead spots in some rooms.

Room was not even clean. Bed a mess and bathroom was dirty. 2nd room had ants. I think staying at the Hilton, I would receive a room that is clean. We didn't check in early, so it should've been clean on time.

I have stayed here for two weeks straight and I am pleased with my experience. Although my complimentary upgrade came with a non functioning jacuzzi tube, my overall trip and visit was very nice. The bartender and front desk personnel are all very friendly and greet you with a real smile. I'll be back!!!!

Is hotel was easy to find, very quiet and comfortable and a quick trip to the airport. All rooms face an inner courtyard, which was lovely...but even though a restaurant was just below us, we didn't hear a thing. A very nice room with a few places to eat close by as well.

This place looks like a haunted house from the outside. The whole roof looks discolored and the parking lot is tore up. The inside looks ok, but the fitness room and room a/c did not work and my carpet was wet and dripping from the a/c unit. I thought I smelled mold when I arrived.

During checkout-I was extremely disappointed with the sleep comfort of the bed in room 229. My boyfriend and I had just finished up 30 miles of trail bicycling that day and were looking forward to a cold shower and a comfortable bed. The bed sunk in the middle which made rest almost impossible. He slept with his head at the foot of the bed and I slept on the very edge in order to be comfortable (not something we normally do). We were able to leave our car for over 2 weeks. Our trans-Atlantic trip got us back into San Antonio at 11 p.m. We only live an hour away but we were exhausted. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn was one of the best decisions of our trip!

Very clean hotel; lobby, restaurant, and room. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There was plenty of parking and they have some well-shaded areas near the street which is quite nice in September in San Antonio where it is often near 100 degrees. This location is very convenient to return to the airport rental car area and a good central location for access to other sections of the city including downtown. Very pleasant stay.

I checked in around 8 pm, tired from a very early travel day and staying at the office late. I had gone shopping for food and drinks for the room because of diet restrictions. This was a last minute booking, and Hilton was more than happy to accommodate us for the weekend. The only trouble we had was finding parking in the small parking lot. The staff told us to just park in the handicap spot (which I was hesitant in doing), given that was the only option. Worst Hilton Experience I've ever had. I will actually try to never stay at a Hilton property again based on this experience. Staff showed no concern that I was having to go to another hotel because the room they gave me was apparently a smoking room and they were booked and he didn't even hesitate when I told him I would have to go somewhere else.

Bad experience at a decent hotel. During breakfast, I discussed my dietary restrictions with the cook and she understood what was allowed. Once the omelet was made, I noticed traces of the food on my plate and within the omelet that I cannot eat. I discussed this with the waitress and she said she will correct this. I received the room I requested and my Diamond status was recognized. Breakfast is pretty good not enough fruit though. The hotel shuttle will pick you up at the Avis Rental car return as well as the airport. They will also take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius and pick you up after. The room was clean as well as the hotel. A good place to stay near the airport.

WE stayed at your Hotel for a family Wedding. The location was perfect, the service was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Children in our group enjoyed the pool. All in all a great stay and we will make use of this facility again when we find our self in San Antonio.

This was a nice hotel, and I'd stay here again. Its location near the airport is very convenient. Our room was clean and well appointed. The only drawback to it was it had a faint rattle in the air conditioning. I didn't have ear plugs the first night, but the second, with the plugs, worked. The sound was muffled to the point I could sleep. The hotel offered free rides to the airport at the time I needed, and that was extremely helpful. All in all, a good hotel for the value.

I travel more than I would like, have stayed in more places in one year than most people do in a decade, and just here in 2016, I have waited 30 minutes for the receptionist to find someone to program a room key card... But everything with the Gilton Garden Inn San Antonio just cliqued - Joe Choinski - Lake Minnetonka Property & Finance.

Not up to Hilton standards. Customer service subpar, cleanliness subpar, beds uncomfortable, breakfast disgusting. Not the worst hotel I've stayed in...at least it's better then the spring break motels from college...

Very good stay. Place a little hard to find ,if out of town. I liked the covered roof which made environment feel safe and secure. Needed bigger pool and hot tub but fine for small group.Needed breakfast to be served earlier, preferable at 5:30AM.

Always a great stay at this hotel. Very Friendly staff at this old but remodeled and well maintained hotel. Close to Airport and many restaurants and attractions. Definitely an excellent choice in San Antonio
