If you want a low cost hotel, this a great place. However the location is a bit far way from Riverwalk, but not too far. You can walk. No restaurants very near. Nothing was bad, but it was not a 3 to 5 start hotel.

Great customer service, breakfast choices, pool size and temperature, guest room bedding and cleanness. Perfect tourist location. You have the choice of driving or walking to the main attractions of San Antonio without the high cost of being close.

The location here is really good. I stayed for 32 days for work and got to meet most the staff. Monica is excellent and does great job helping the guests find their way around and where to eat and things like that. The internet was somewhat disappointing and really weak in my room. The staff tried but i think it is something they need to upgrade or maybe it was just my area of the hotel. There were a few other issues but overall I would say it is a good deal considering the location and would r... Read more

Housekeeping was terrible. Room smelled and was not vacuumed before or during our stay. Floors dirty and sticky and one day housekeeping never showed up. Failed to restock things. Pick hotels across street instead

GREAT hotel and the staff was excellent. I can honestly only offer great reviews for this hotel -- staff, facilities, breakfast etc... We could not have ask for a greater weekend stay. The hotel is within walking distance to the River Walk which made it easy to park at the hotel and walk the rest of the time.

Very clean. Within walking distance of grocery. Very comfy beds. Great breakfast bar. Stayed with a small child. Love the room and TV. Beds were very nice as well as the ottoman for food when eating in room. We used points for the stay but if was paying definitely worth the money as this is a very nice place. Great staff

We only stayed 2 nights here as a side trip from Austin. The location was very good- only about a 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk. The staff at the front desk was very helpful with maps, directions, recommendations. Price was good, especially since parking was included.

We've stayed here for two nights. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean, as well were the premises. The River Walk is just 5 minutes away (not downtown) where you can have a nice unwinding walk or go jogging. Downtown is about 10 to 15 minutes away. I never had problems parking the car. The nearby parking lot in the seemingly abandoned building, was - contrary to what I read on this forum - illuminated at night and had appointed parking spots. Also contrary to what I read from pre... Read more

One night stop over en route to New Orleans. Large Hampton property, older, slightly"tired" in need of a spruce up. Room fine, breakfast area slightly chaotic with only one harassed staff member on duty to replenish food and clean up duties. Good location to walk around down town area/river walk etc. An "ok" hotel would be my view, nothing special.

We stayed in a nice, clean, large corner suite. There was a separate fridge, microwave and sink area. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was relatively quiet. Only complaint was we were on the second floor in the northwest corner and there was some sort of door slamming/room shaking noise coming from below us. It was pretty random and not very noticeable during the day. But when it happened several times in the middle of the night it literally shook the bed and made it very difficul... Read more

The room was modern and clean for 185$. Nowadays you could easily spend 350$ on a so-so room. Hotel chains are becoming a total rip off. We enjoyed our stay at the Flores St. Location. We were only minutes from the Riverwalk and Sightseeing Tour Bus stop so we walked around and left our car on the 'free' hotel parking lot. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is by far the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at. By all appearances it seems to have been a newer hotel. It is centrally located. My husband and I stayed for one night to attend a funeral of his relative the next morning. The funeral home was only three minutes away. We ate at Rosario's the evening of our arrival and it was a three min drive away also. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I prefer the vanity to be in a separate room so as to not wake my hubby. And the breakfast could h... Read more

Quick stay in San Antonio, pretty good for a location for RiverWalk and Alamo visit. Need car/GPS for Six Flags. No more than a 25 minutes drive to amusement parks. The snack shop is expensive so bring your own snacks. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the towels were very soft.

My family and I traveled to San Antonio for my son's graduation from Air Force basic training. When we arrived, the overall appearance was great. Clean lobby, great smelling, courteous staff and the room was clean. It all went down hill from there. We left the next morning for one evolution of the weekend's ceremonies. We stayed on a Sunday night. Monica was a fabulous employee at the front desk. She was very helpful and friendly. Market square and the river walk were within walking distance, although late at night I'm not sure I'd want to walk back as it was through part of downtown. This was a nicely equipped hotel with breakfast, computers, gym and well appointed rooms. My primary complaint was that, though a walkable distance (20min) to the Riverwalk, it passed through some sketchy areas where there were numerous empty businesses and very little pedestrian traffic.
