If you want a low cost hotel, this a great place. However the location is a bit far way from Riverwalk, but not too far. You can walk. No restaurants very near. Nothing was bad, but it was not a 3 to 5 start hotel.

The location here is really good. I stayed for 32 days for work and got to meet most the staff. Monica is excellent and does great job helping the guests find their way around and where to eat and things like that. The internet was somewhat disappointing and really weak in my room. The staff tried but i think it is something they need to upgrade or maybe it was just my area of the hotel. There were a few other issues but overall I would say it is a good deal considering the location and would r... Read more

We've stayed here for two nights. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean, as well were the premises. The River Walk is just 5 minutes away (not downtown) where you can have a nice unwinding walk or go jogging. Downtown is about 10 to 15 minutes away. I never had problems parking the car. One night stop over en route to New Orleans. Large Hampton property, older, slightly"tired" in need of a spruce up. Room fine, breakfast area slightly chaotic with only one harassed staff member on duty to replenish food and clean up duties. Good location to walk around down town area/river walk etc. An "ok" hotel would be my view, nothing special.

We stayed in a nice, clean, large corner suite. There was a separate fridge, microwave and sink area. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was relatively quiet. Only complaint was we were on the second floor in the northwest corner and there was some sort of door slamming/room shaking noise coming from below us. The room was modern and clean for 185$. Nowadays you could easily spend 350$ on a so-so room. Hotel chains are becoming a total rip off. We enjoyed our stay at the Flores St. Location. We were only minutes from the Riverwalk and Sightseeing Tour Bus stop so we walked around and left our car on the 'free' hotel parking lot. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is by far the best Hampton Inn I've stayed at. By all appearances it seems to have been a newer hotel. It is centrally located. My husband and I stayed for one night to attend a funeral of his relative the next morning. The funeral home was only three minutes away. Housekeeping came often to clean our rooms and left it very clean. It was peaceful in the hotel, with no noise and i loved it. The breakfast was very good however the oatmeal was a little dry and clumpy period but other than that the food was still good and they had variety. I believe the staff was very polite Around the Cl... Read more

this is a great property, it's in a good location and very clean. I stay here every time I come to town which is every other month for a couple days to a week. I have stayed at other Hamptons in the area as well as other chains and this is by far the best one.

I have no complaints about this hotel. Everything was great! Very clean, nice size room and a good breakfast. Our flight was very early coming in and late going back. We took an Uber to get to the hotel. Upon arrival Patrick checked us in and held our bags until we were able to get settled in our room. The walk is about 10 minutes away from the Riverwalk which was not bad. The weather was gorgeous all weekend!!! Walking back to the hotel at night was sometimes scary. It's not in the best area bu... We stayed here for a few nights while visiting San Antonio. The location is perfect for walking to the River Walk, the Alamo and many other restaurants and stores. The room was huge, very comfortable and clean. It includes a hot breakfast with lots of choices. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Within walking distance to River Walk and all the downtown attractions. Parking can get a little tight at night. Staff was helpful with directions. Room service did remove my luggage from my room before I had checked out. I guess they were in a hurry to check other guests in.

This hotel was very clean. Breakfasts were good and offered lot of variety. Hotel was not exactly downtown as advertised. Was actually about 8 blocks from downtown. Rooms were not very soundproof. could hear walking above us and talking as well. We were moved to another room when asked. Front desk staff Patrick was very helpful. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Answered any questions we came up with. Also, arranged for us to move to a room on a higher floor when we were not able to sleep due ... Read more

Very helpful staff, prompt check in and check out. My receipts were ready when I went down to do a check out of five rooms. Breakfast was great and variety offered as I had six high school students with me. The hotel is in a great location and adequate parking.

Digital check-in is a fabulous way to confirm ones stay, arrive and just pick up your key to a great stay where cleanliness, hospitality and a warm welcome back is like staying at a family member's house. Great coffee too!

Quiet, good location with grocery store across the street. Breakfast was free and delicious. Gas station across the street. Not far from Riverwalk - would not walk there neighborhood is not pristine. Parking lot is very small but if you get in early you may find a spot to park.

We stayed with our basketball team for a tournament and was very pleased with the hotel. They allowed us to park our charter bus on the premises which is not the usual policy. We were thankful for that. The beds were comfortable. My only problem was with my shower and a barely flowing shower head. I told the front desk about it but nothing was different the next time. That is annoying but overall a good stay.

I actually enjoyed this hotel, but copped a Nasty bill shock about a week after staying there. I had to activated my phone and use international calls whilst in Hawaii, I eventually got my refund but it's not good enough. I've now copped a large phone bill due to this. Apparently the hotel and hotels.com had a miscommunication. Absolute joke. It took 3 days to talk to the manager and one of the people was rude as hell. Good location but absolutely terrible 'free wifi'. Will never stay at a Hilto... Read more

We stayed at this hotel while we were in town for our son's Air Force BMT graduation. It was located halfway between the airport and the AF base, plus being fairly close to the downtown Riverwalk. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. the beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were not so great. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Very clean & modern room. Breakfast consisted of premade omelettes, potatoes, bacon, make-your-own waffles. Also available were pastries, toast, English muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit & boiled eggs. And of course, coffee & juice. Pretty good selection for a complimentary breakfast! Front desk staff was friendly & helpful.

This is a good hotel if you have a vehicle, because (1) it does not charge for parking, as most hotels in the area do, and (2) it is not as close to the main attractions as other hotels, so it is good to be able to drive. But being a bit farther out from downtown, it is not as expensive as the closer hotels, either. It has all of the amenities that you expect from Hampton Inn, and the rooms are very nice.

The hotel was priced more cheaply than those on the River Walk. Also, free parking was provided. These were the reasons we checked in. But, I have to say that the public spaces of the hotel were worn and rather shabby---carpet, hallways, etc. did not feel particular clean.

Love this hotel! This is our third time staying here, and we will be back! It is always clean and the breakfast is great! The staff is so helpful and nice. There is extra parking in the building next door if the parking lot is full. There is an excellent selection of channels and really nice TV.

Nice clean hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Minor complaints. What bothers one person is nothing to another. My only complaint was the placement of the shower head, which was about seven feet high. My wife could not reach the shower head to change direction or pressure. Convenient and easy location to Alamo and Riverwalk areas.

We stayed for four nights. The staff was amazing. Stacey was particularly kind and helpful. Breakfast was good and coffee was tasty and hot! Most important thing to me is the beds and their cleanliness. With a pure white linen duvet, the room gives you a very clean feeling. Couch was nice and provided a great comfy work place. Tile in the bathroom can sometimes be dated and dirty. Spotless and very chic. Pricing of this hotel is much less than those on the river walk. Cutest grocery s... Read more

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and the hotel was completely full. But, even though they were extremely busy they did not lower their customer service standards. Check in was fast and easy and Patrick, the front desk clerk was attentive and helpful throughout our whole stay. They also have complementary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby throughout the day, so that's a nice extra. Rooms are spacious and very clean. It is close to downtown attractions would say walking distance but a short ride. Alamo and shops. Hotel was clean and rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was good and w/variety we stayed 4 nights and had different selections every day. Parking is only reason for the 4 stars. If you get there after 8pm you will need to park in the garage parking not far at all just run down and poor lighting. We did not feel unsafe.
