Located in West Lake, the DFW Marriott Solana is a very nice hotel. The quality of the room and the amenities are great. Staff was extremely friendly, and the beds offered a great night sleep. The configuration is a bit weird, with the 1st floor being lower than the main lobby. We enjoyed a few beverages in the hotel bar, but it was extremely pricey for the quality of wine. We stayed as part of the MS150 group, and will do so again next year.

We stayed here in May and found the hotel staff to be unaccommodating. The lobby of the hotel was recently updated but the guest rooms are old, smell of mold, and are dirty. There are other hotels nearby that far exceed the quality and service of this hotel. Book elsewhere

First of all - the address listed on T.A. is incorrect: it is now 1301 Solana Blvd. & some GPS systems will NOT pick it up. NOTE: use Google maps to find it ... and it's worth the effort. This is NOT your typical Marriott. I really enjoyed it's different decor and vibe - and the un-hurried area surrounding it. There aren't many restaurants in the immediate area, but a very friendly & reliable - FREE shuttle service will take you to the Southlake area. And, if you can't find a restauran... Read more

The Marriott solana is a great little hotel. The location is perfect as it sits in between southlake and trophy club. The airport is 10 minutes east, the freeway is down the street, and the city is just 40 minutes south. The breakfast wasn't 5 star by any means, however for gold and plat rewards members it does come free on the weekends. The lounge is nice and the rooms are large.

Had to make a trip to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and was going to spend time in both Ft. Worth and then Dallas. Looked for a place north of the metroplex to avoid traffic. Stumbled upon the Marriott Solana off hwy 114. Just spent the night, but very quiets, comfortable, and the people very friendly. Serves Starbucks coffee, and has a nice bar. Will probably stay their again when the opportunity arises.

Our grandson had a baseball tournament over the Memorial Day weekend so we drove about five hours for the three day tournament. In the past we stayed at the Southlake Hilton but chose the Marriott because it had a large "presidential suite." The hotel facilities were great but there was virtually no one working there because of the holiday weekend despite quite a few guests. The concierge floor was closed and room service was all but inaccessible. In fact, for the entire weekend, I only saw f... Read more

We were on 7th floor, platinum members. We like this hotel very much, most of the time. It is close to the airport, and close to Keller where we visit our son's family during the day. We were there this year for an extended time because of a high school graduation. The good things are: concierge lounge, Lillie makes our stay so pleasant. She is definitely the best employee they have. Unfortunately, because of the holiday weekend, we were only able to enjoy the lounge a few times. Another... Read more

Staff is aloof, service is so, so They must be used to business events only as the front desk staff answers questions with no eye contact, no interest and mildly interested. If they aren't happy, they should go elsewhere I would not be interested in coming back

Very nice hotel. Top notch customer service. Quiet. Just too expensive for a Marriott. No way this place should be over $200 ($244 actually on this stay). Meeting next door otherwise I'd stay elsewhere. Just up the highway is an outstanding Truluck's restaurant.

Stayed here for 3 nights for work last week and it was a great stay. Although the hotel is in the middle of NO WHERE it was a beautiful hotel. The staff was very accommodating and the bar was fantastic!

I recently hosted a 2 day business meeting at the Marriott Solana, the venue was excellent. The location is approximately 20 minutes from DFW, cabs and hotel shuttles are readily available. I rented a car and drove from DFW to the hotel, very convenient underground parking is available at no charge. I was greeted at check in, I arrived late in the evening and the reception staff knew who I was and details regarding our group meeting. My room was on the 6th floor, the 6th and 7th floors are the... Read more

This luxury hotel is at its finest. From how gorgeous, clean, and friendly the staff was. The outside courtyard is beautiful and so relaxing. We actually fell asleep outside on the couches next to the table top fire pits. The pool and hot tub were well kept as well. The food ordered for room service exceeded expectations and there is a Starbucks in the lobby which is a plus! The beds were super comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this place and we will be back!!

The staff was nice. The property has been updated. The rooms were clean. And the food was good. But it is a loud hotel. We could hear every sound, no matter how soft, in the room next door, and the room corridors practically echo. Between babies crying, guests laughing, and housekeeping chatter, It was impossible to get a good night's rest or afternoon nap. The room is not conducive to work either as the desk sits a good 10" higher than it should be; fortunately, there are a few nice places to w... Read more

Modern, beautifully decorated hotel. The first impression is the beautiful circular drive that leads thru a sitting area as you head into the lobby. Lots of seating areas with gorgeous lighting. The bar area is located next to the check in desk and the bartenders are skilled at creating fabulous cocktails. Our room was on the 7th floor and was amazing! A huge seating area, king bed, vanity separate from the bath, and two balconies! The pool is shallow but well maintained and the chairs are nice.... Read more

All the staff in a pleasant mood and helpful. Had my mom stay there so I wouldn't need to clean my house for the holidays. We were in an unfortunate car accident and the staff packed up my belongings for me to give to my husband. The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal. Access to nearby fitness center with indoor outdoor pool and the normal actives also provided. All around excellent stay.

I was privileged to stay for three night for our national conference. The accommodations were first rate. Cocktails wonderful. Not watered down and expensive. The food was EXCELLENT. The pecan pie was ?? amazing! The rooms were spacious and cozy. We had and excellent view. Nice to be tucked away from the hustle and bustle. With the highway so close you would think road noise would be an issue...not so. There were storms blowing through when we were there. The staff sounded the alarm. They mad... Read more

Was down in Westlake for business and stayed at the Mariott Solana. The lobby is amazing. The first floor has definitely been been renovated. The rooms were a little outdated, (my shower only half worked, and i could hear my neighbors pretty clearly through the walls) but the rooms were clean. Everyone who worked at the hotel could not have been nicer. Not a lot of views from the room at least the one I was in. Would definitely stay here again though next time I am in Westlake

Very nice hotel. Room are quite big, clean and with airconditioning working very well. People are always trying to help you and very good shuttle service although I didn't use too much as I had a rental car. But available. I had access to the lounge and food and refreshment were goog. And also here people very kind and treat you very well. I recommend.

Great Pool Area, nice location in the heart of Dallas, Fort Worth but you feel like you our in the country. Staff went above and beyond to make staying enjoyable and were very attentive to our needs, even turned on the hotel pool area PA system for just my son and I when they realized we were using the area.

Stayed at the Marriott Solana because we were attending a wedding nearby. With decades of stays at both Marriotts and Hiltons across the globe, I have to say that this was "so-so" at best. This is not a Courtyard, this is a full-blown Marriottt. So I expected a bit more. Front desk - one person manning a desk and there were 15 people in line. The bellman (wished I had his name because he was the best) went in back to get someone to attend to the Elite guests. A gentleman came out and he was... Read more

This is a three-plus rating and could go higher if Marriott spends money on the rooms like they did to the lobby. Rooms are livable and clean, but need some sprucing up. I enjoyed the availability of the concierge level.

I stayed here on a business trip. Nice marble lobby with a big bar and restaurant, small gift shop serving Starbucks and a small fitness center. My room was on 7th floor was standard with a balcony and clean. TV had the capability to log into your Netflix and watch your movies. I like that feature. Free underground garage parking is included - you don't see that much. Concierge room is on 6th floor - nice selection - they serve sausage links (my measurement vs patties). There is a Tex-Mex... This newly updated hotel has lots to offer. Front desk service was some of the best we've had at a Marriott property. Staff in all areas; bar, lounge, security, Starbucks kiosk were all polished and most gracious. Great cocktails and wine selection. Breakfast bar looked great although we had prior engagements with friends at local restaurants. Airport shuttle service is great. It is off the beaten path hidden in a beautiful woodsy area in Westlake. Pool and hot tub area is serene and there is a ... Read more

Located 10 minutes from the airport this quiet hotel has a very nice restaurant and bar. Friendly staff and easy access to the Texas motor Speedway. Many jogging or walking trails around the hotel and an outdoor swimming pool that's private and quiet. Plenty of underground parking but no airport shuttle.

Here 4 days for conference and continuing education. Great service, awesome team members, and beautiful facility. If you are in a conference, the rooms can get chilly (and I don't get cold easily). Free shuttle from airport even for a 1 night stay. Free shuttle to more shopping and dining.

Before my retirement every time I traveled from the UK to the DFW area on business I would stay here (in fact, I once spent six weeks in one booking) and every time I found it a great place to stay with fantastic food both at breakfast and dinner. Rooms are always clean, the staff attentive and the pool a great place to relax after a day at work especially after jet lag "kicks in"

Spent two nights for a meeting being held at the hotel. Staff is friendly and outgoing, hotel is very good condition though a car is needed to do anything outside the hotel. Upgraded to a large suite that was well-maintained and quiet; the called its pool-facing view "Dallas Oceanfront". Cute. Large bright lobby with plenty of room to unwind or read outside your room without being in a stuffy bar. Nice outdoor seating areas as well, if the weather is comfy enough. Had a minor issue with...
