Yes, there is a lot of construction that should be done in a few weeks. But, the service from the front desk, to the wait staff, to the maids were all outstanding! Very friendly. Free Starbucks coffee in the lobby that was a lot better than the room coffee. Packets of peppermint tea in the room were a hit. Fitness room has several cardio machines and free weights in good working condition. Look forward to my next stay here!

Bottom line: Until they finish the remodel this hotel is not worth the extra money to stay here. This hotel is conveniently located near a number of business, the CityLine development, and the DART. That said the hotel is currently going through a remodel to update its tied look. The lobby is under construction and mostly covered by screens, but thankful noise wasn’t an issue on the higher floors. The rooms have yet to be remodeled and are showing their age. The most noticeable thing was ... Read more

I visited Dallas to celebrate my Birthday, what an awesome stay0(April 15 - 16th)! In spite of the construction, the hotel was very apologetic for this. The rooms were clean and spacious expecially the bathroom!!! The restaurant waitress Meron, was beyond excellent!! She was accomdating to our every need. She is a rare find in customer service, holds on top her!! Overall, I relaxed and highly recommend this hotel! Will be returning one construction had been completed.

I have been staying at this hotel for 9 days now, and just booked for another 9 for business I do in the Dallas Metro-plex. First, let me mention the location is very convenient to your metro-plex stay. Convenient to 75, 635, and Bush Toll Road. The crème de la crème of this establishment, however, is its customer service. Marriott is of course known for its great customer service, which is why I am always using them. The staff at this hotel, however, were attentive to every detail. During th... Read more

This is our second stay here and it was very nice despite the ongoing construction. New carpet was laid and furniture brought into the new lobby area the week we were there - every day a new surprise. But what we enjoyed most was walking the Galatyn Woodland Preserve across Lookout Drive. It leads to the Richardson city trails. A beautiful well maintained path that offers solace in the middle of the city- we would come back to this location just for the trail!
