Excellent, full service hotel. My first choice in the North Dallas area. Friendly, Texas hospitality. Good for dining in hotel or room service. Close to many superb restaurants. Easy access from DFW and DAL.

Very pleasant experience. Great value for all that was included in this package deal. Room on the 17th floor afforded a beautiful view. Food was excellent. Staff was very professional and helpful. Hopefully, this package will be offered for future Wildflower Festivals.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel while in Richardson. My stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. Friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable staff, comfortable, clean rooms with many free amenities, excellent food and convenient location. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

I stay at this hotel at least 6 times a year...Very convenient for N. Dallas business locations/UT Dallas. Also close to lots of excellent dining opportunities. This is an older hotel that could use a refresh, so don't expect perfection....The price point is excellent and the staff certainly go above and beyond to ensure that stays are excellent.

We bought a package that included festival tickets, room, breakfast and shuttle to and from the site. It was a great deal. Really nice hotel with a wonderful front desk rep named Brittney. She really made us feel welcome. Our room was very nice, especially if you are a business person - lots of electrical outlets and a big desk. Coffee and a fridge and big fluffy towels. Brittney called our room before she went off duty to see if we needed anything! Amazing. The buffet breakfast is just ... Read more

I have stayed at this location quite a few times over the years- some of you may remember it as a Renaissance or an Omni. The fellow who checked me in said it has been a Hyatt for a couple of years. The property is in good shape, but the staff is exceptional- helpful, friendly, effective. Small things can make a so-so trip into a good trip, and I think the hotel staff can really make a difference.

My family stayed at the Hyatt Regency while in town for a funeral. As sad as that occasion was, our time at the hotel lightened our mood. The rooms were comfortable and large enough for 3 adults. It was the dining room that was really special.

I was in town for a funeral and decided against making the trip back to OKC the same day. I called as driving to the hotel and had no issues reserving a room. The check in process was easy and Laura provided me with excellent service. I was booked in room 707, a corner room. The room seemed like a typical Hyatt room. It was exceptionally clean. The TV and work space were positioned in front of the window making it difficult for me to reach the handles to open and close the curtains. The bed was ... Read more

We decided to check this place out because I was going to have a surgical procedure at a nearby medical facility and I needed a good place to stay the night after my surgery. So we stayed here in Jan 2016 for one night and decided to go with a different hotel (Cooper Hotel & Conference Center) to spend my post-op time in a more comfortable environment. This hotel is not anything special. The rooms are average looking but the bed was comfortable. We had no trouble sleeping. The bathroom was e... Read more

I ended up staying here for 5+ weeks for work and I was really impressed w the staff as well as how well the hotel has been kept. Everyone from the bar/restaurant staff to the folks at the front desk, especially Shawn were incredible. I wish I wrote down all their names because they were really awesome. The rooms were always clean and surprisingly the beds were really comfortable. I am normally a huge SPG customer but I chose the Hyatt in this case due to the proximity to my office and I w... This Hyatt Regency in Richardson TX is in a great location with lots of food places within walking distance or driving distance. The parking at this hotel is "Free" which is great. The lobby is big and open with lots of sitting room. The hotel has a restaurant which is open daily for breakfast and lunch after that it is dining in what is called "701 Bar and Grill". "701 Bar and Grill" has a daily happy hour with wines, beers and snack items and several TVs are located in the bar area. The room... Read more

The staff here is incredible! I stayed here for only 2 nights last week from June 6th that Monday and checked out early Wednesday morning. I came to the Plano/Richardson area for my Niece's Wedding and unfortunately I was forced to make the trip alone because my husband had to attend a work related conference Monday June 6th. I had to undergo serious knee surgery almost a year ago and it has made it extremely difficult on me when walking long distances or heavy lifting and etc. I could not find ... Read more

We came to Dallas because my son is attending STEM camp at University of Texas at Dallas. This hotel is only 5 minutes away. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but all Hyatt's participate in a Scrip program that gives money back to our daughter's private school tuition, based on how much you spend, so we wanted it to work out. We have three rooms because we are a large family. We got the 18th floor, which my son loved. The room did have a musty smell and the furniture was a b... Read more

The key here may be to have correct expectations. Think three-star business hotel not four-star or five-star luxury hotel and you are tuned in. It's a suburban Hyatt in an older suburb, not a downtown flagship and not a resort. The pool is small, the elevators are slow. It is somewhat dated but not horribly worn. Those are about all the negatives. There are many positives. It is a full-serve hotel, not a limited service hotel. It is frequently better priced than other full-serve hotel... Read more

Good location just off Interstate 75. They really aim to please at this hotel and the pool is open year-round. I find this hotel (a Regency) is typically $30+/night cheaper than the other Hyatts in Dallas (usually Hyatt Places). I have Diamond membership, so I appreciate the included full or buffet breakfast to the lobby fare you get at a Hyatt Place.

Check in was great for a 2 day stay using points, but when we return back to the room on the second day, it had not been cleaned. Had to call down for fresh towels. That night the room charge bill was slipped under the door and the complimentary breakfast buffet for 2 was charged to me for $35 dollars. Had to go to the front desk and got an "oh yeah, sorry". Rooms need bedside plugs for all our devices.

It's a bit older, yet very nice, comfortable & clean. Our electricity went out during a storm on a Sunday night. So we had no place to board our Choc Lab. Luckily the Hyatt allowed dogs. She stayed in our room on her own bed, which helped. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality, what a life saver.

Checked in for the 4th of July holiday on Sunday. 18th floor, corner room. The room was dark, moist and musky. A storm rolled through and the hotel lost power for hours. No A/C, my spouse's CPAP sleep machine couldn't function. This made for a VERY rough night. Went into the hallway, lights worked, looked for staff, couldn't find anyone. It would've been nice for them to do a walk through to make sure everyone was okay. But, I guess when you're on the 18th floor that's unlikely.

More 3.5 stars, above average but not very good so have to round down. Flew in late from WA, friendly staff, easy check in and went for late dinner at restaurant which was slow (considering only maybe 3 tables and couple of folks at bar), but food was decent. Room was quite comfortable even if bit old but didn't realize until later that was next to light rail and freeway both which seemed to continue all night and while not loud wasn't great for good nights sleep, rooms on other side would be m... Stayed 2 nights at this property over a weekend in July. We are Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum level members. We had a king room on the 18th floor, #1820. The lobby area is nice and check in was quick and efficient . Due to our passport level, we were also offered two large bottled waters each day. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub area. It is nicely landscaped and of medium size, but looked like the chemical levels needed to be checked in the pool as it was cloudy looking. This ho... Read more

I booked this hotel because I generally like a hotel that has some activity and superior amenities and service. Since this property is called a Hyatt regency and I am a Hyatt member I chose it. While the hotel was clean and the service ok, it sorely needs updating. The amenities are virtually non existent and bar service spotty. Aside for the fact that it had a bar and full restaurant, I have stayed in nicer Hyatt places.
