The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was everything we needed. This was just a one night stay as we passed through town but since we go through quite often on our way to visit family we'll be frequenting this hotel a lot in the future.

From the moment you walk in this property until your time of departure the staff is focused on delivering great customer service. Front desk, dining room, bar it didn't matter service was the focus. The property is older but the rooms and hotel are clean comfortable and very inviting. The food quality was excellent and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my first and definitely not my last stay at this property.

Good stay, no issues. Had a good night's sleep. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't as good (bacon had an after taste) otherwise it was good overall. The hotel is in a good location and has several choices for dining nearby.

The hotel staff do try hard to please. They make mistakes quite often when it comes to food. The solution is comp a drink. When you arrive back at the inn after a long day you are greeted with a free drink. Just a lot of alcohol freely provided. Hence, if this is a problem for you I recommend another hotel. We stayed at the Doubletree in Richardson, TX in May. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety and good quality. The rooms are very nice and very clean. It is very convenient to most venues in the area. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to be close to The George Bush Turnpike in Richardson.

Clean hotel with acceptable internet speeds. Very nice TV in room. Stayed one night near my meeting location. My only "needs improvement" is the coffee, but can't complain too much because it was free. There is a starbucks right next door.

The best hotel in the Richardson area. Much better than the Hyatt -- the staff was horrible there. It's not going to knock your socks off. There's nothing special or exciting about this Doubletree. But the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is convenient. My favorite place to stay in the vicinity for work.

I was extremely unimpressed with the Doubletree. It's pretty run down from what they used to be. The walls were so thin that I couldn't sleep and could actually answer my neighbors conversation because I could hear every word. The roon was quite standard for US hotels - nothing special, not so up-to-date room any more. Breakfast was quite nice w/fresh fruits&berries and fitness centre was good. However, the biggest disapointment was that there were NO room cleaning between the nights ( I stayed 2 nights) , no check if e.g. missing coffee, emptying the trash boxes etc. Never faced before at the hotels that should be 3-4 stars.

My girlfriend was called to an event at UT Dallas and I came along so that she wouldn't have to make the drive alone. I got an executive room which was perfect because I was able to do work in the executive lounge while she was at UT Dallas. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to stay in the lounge even past my checkout time. Also, the breakfast was very filling and it was nice to have it open until 10am.

I stayed here on business in June 2016 and I found the hotel to be clean and updated. I used the honors room for breakfast and the young lady who runs it has everything laid out and ready and she is very nice. Jimmy in the lounge is a great bartender - quick and very nice. Had our Daughters wedding reception6/25/16 here as well as the hotel block of rooms. EVERYONE here from Natalie, Tommy, Linda and the ENTIRE staff were WONDERFUL! They went above and beyond! I have been to this hotel a few times in the past and know exactly what I am getting. My most recent visit was exactly as expected - A nice room to rest and one you don't mind doing work or hanging out in. room and hall were not very clean. Cookies were great. Had stayed there a year ago and it was better. Not tremendously impressed this time. Breakfast staff did nothing and still wanted a tip. The hotel is located just off of the expressway and very easy to get to. There is ample parking. The hotel has a nice lobby, restaurant and bar area. The hotel is located right in the middle of numerous places for dining from fast food to casual. The hotel is an older property but the rooms were clean and large.

I felt like first class staying there. The beds were nicely made each day. I enjoyed my HHonors upgrades to the excutive levels. The welcome cookies were good and I really enjoyed the breakfast! Next time I visit the Garland and Richardson areas this is my spot to stay! I may look into planning a business training there one day.

My wife and I stayed here and are very satisfied. It is convenient to get to and no problem with parking. A lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The breakfast was good also. I would definitely recommend to others.

Digital check-in needs a little more work. There should be a filter for selecting rooms when you have special needs. There should be a way to communicate requests and receive acknowledgement prior to arrival.

I stayed here in July 2016 for a business training and was very impressed with everything. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. They gave us so many free cookies and drink coupons! The girl in the front who served free drinks (I forgot her name) was super great, and Jimmy and Jessie in the bar were also awesome. I can't say enough good things about my stay.

When I originally booked my room at the Doubletree Dallas-Richardson, the hotel was by far, the lowest priced option available. I booked a King suite but, instead was given a room with 2 tiny full beds in it which my feet hung off of for the entire week. The front desk was no help and neither was HHonors customer service. Take my advice and book elsewhere!

This hotel was close to multiple food choices and at later hours than normal so for a road weary traveler seeking a taste of something familiar this is a big deal. The rooms and all the facilities were kept obsessively clean as well, very intuitive staff also.

You can tell the facility is a little dated(popcorn ceilings), but it is very well kept and clean. King bed and bedding was nice. Room AC worked well. Breakfast was cooked to order or buffet. Evening cocktail coupons were nice. Close to many area activities and restaurants. Staff was pleasant. Checkin was quick. Parking is self parking and seems well protected.

Nice place on the outside, but rooms need some work. Maintenance and housekeeping is an issue. A/C will need to be maxed out to cool the room in the summer months. Carpets need to be steam cleaned. Hilton can do much better. (Hilton HHonors Memebr and HGV Owner)

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never had a problem. This last stay was for 4 nights and the housekeeper went through our things and helped herself to some of our stuff. What was taken was not as important as the fact that someone went in my things and took things that did not belong to them. The front desk was very helpful and kind. But unfortunately I will be finding a new place to stay in the Dallas area now.

Our family gathered for a family celebration of my aunts 90th. Five of us stayed in the Doubletree Hilton in Richardson. The lobby had a hip appearance. The desk staff were on top of it. Our rooms were nice, clean and very comfortable. The lounge down the hall on the 12th floor was a real bonus. Free cocktailsand appetizers at happy hour and Breskfast in am. We all loved it.

I called the day before check in to confirm my reservation and early check in, I was assured everything was good to go. Upon arrival, I was checked in with ease but when I got to my room, it was 1 king instead of 2 queens. The front desk staff were inattentive, no refrigerator in the room. My roommate needed a refrigerator for her insulin. Asked to have s different room . Between location & amenities, this Doubletree is a wonderful place to stay! You can't beat the location. It's so easy to get around Dallas, Richardson, and the surrounding areas. There are numerous restaurants and shops. The front desk staff is very knowledgable, and helpful. They are super nice! I stayed in the sweet on the 12th floor and the bathroom was like a small closet. Constantly bumping into the door and toilet because there was no room. It was like an RV size bathroom. Very dissatisfying.

The service person at front desk names " Ahmed" was very discourteous. He gave my family the hardest time time at the check in, one can imagine. My credit card has been charged 2 times for incidentals. . I've been trying to resolve a stay dispute for the last week with zero success. I've had 5 different conversations, left many voice messages and been placed on hold or transferred more times than I can count. Had to get new elevator/room keys 3X each day of our stay; poor housekeeping day to day. There is nothing more frustrating than rushing back to your room to use the bathroom and not being able to get into your room! I can't imagine how this hotel gets a 4 rating on average. Issue number 1 - requested extra blanket several times over several hours and staff members, never received the blanket. So to start the hotel was ill prepared to check in all the arrivals. If you sign up to be a designated hotel for the soccer tournaments you should staff accordingly. Very clean hotel! The staff was very polite and friendly. No problems at all to report. The room was very well cleaned and the temperature was just right. The bartender was awesome as well. Jessica did a great job!

Close to DART and great hotel. This hotel offered shuttle service to and from the DART and it was a clean, family friendly place. I will stay here again other han just for this game. My kids have it two thumbs up as well.

Left my blouse in the room when we checked out so called them when I got home. They put me on hold & never called me back MULTIPLE times. They did not care. Terrible customer service and that includes the Manager on duty. To make it worse, it was a warm humid evening and our air conditioner worked poorly. I am a mobility disabled person, and was surprised that there were no people other than the front desk manager available to help me with my bags or car. The restaurant's hours were a pain in the rear. The bed was okay, but the bathroom had absolutely no business being in a room labelled 'accessible'.

I had a a double bed room with all pertinent amenities. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is a nice bar with great staff. You won't find a better pokemon hunting experience anywhere. Pony up at the bar and watch the eggecutors roll in!

For a Doubletree, I expected a bit more. The room was OK...a bit dated. The staff was OK, not overly friendly. The food was OK - certainly better than what you would get at one of the cheaper chains but not great either. The location is close to several restaurants that are within walking distance but I wouldn't recommend walking there after dark. I probably won't stay here again unless my company makes it a requirement.

The bed was the most uncomfortable one I've ever slept in. The pillows not comfortable at all. This is why the rating was so low. The elevators were very slow. I mean very slow. The staff was very friendly. The meeting rooms were good. I would recommend that they upgrade their beds.

I stayed at your facility for a business meeting. The rooms were clean and quiet, the meeting space adequate for our needs, and the lobby area was clean and inviting. I called ahead to ask questions about the breakfast availability and had a pleasant and helpful conversation with guest services. My special request for our lunch was accommodated nicely. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Second time staying at this hotel I was placed in a room with a double bed when I ask for a king. I was immediately moved to another room with no problem. The rooms & bathrooms are very clean and neat. I would recommend this hotel, staff was friendly and courteous. Great location to many activities.

Business travelers beware, this hotel and their management are SCUM of the Hilton Brand, I've been a diamond member traveling for years, and have never been charge d a no show fee by any property. Hamid and the rest of the management staff should be considered as poor in the hospitality business. We will continue to fight them via credit card chargeback. They don't treat Diamond Elite customers right, just imagine how they will treat normal guests, stay away from this hotel!

Nice staff but not very knowledgeable for a doubletree, perhaps my experience was unusual and unique. I booked a room apparently with two double beds, the beds weren't even double, perhaps you could fit two infants on it. The hotel was in a great location and a very nice lobby, but if more than one of you are traveling, look into the bed situation.

I can say last week's stay was great, was given the room floor location & a king size bed as requested when I placed the reservations 2 weeks ago. Today I checked back in for my second week in a row of business stay, wrong floor location, double beds (not king) as I requested 2 weeks ago. very nice property with an excellent staff. A very good place to be at when in Richardson,TX. Many good places to eat in the surrounding area such as Jaspers and Lockhart's BBQ. Hotel rooms are contemporary and very clean and the fitness center is well equipped.

Have stayed here before. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms are a little small and a little dated. Needs a little improvement. Nice bar area and comfort downstairs area. Breakfast buffet good with variety of items. I would go back again.

We faced a serious problem upon arrival: they weren't sure they had any rooms even though we had a reservation. It took 30+ min to work it out. On the plus they provided free drinks while we waited. But management is definitely under-organized. Elevators were shoddy and slow. Rooms were fine though, and location is good for restaurant choices.

Elevators did not function for entire stay. Long waits just to get to room. Management and staff were unavailable to assist. What few interactions were possible with management and staff were filled with a lack of concern and outright lies. No apologies or considerations for the inconvenience were offered.

Ok property, but elevators quit working and left guests stranded. At check in they did not return my credit card and never bothered to call me or return it during my stay. Had to drive to get it....vs their delivering to airport Hilton property I moved to. Very Disappointing.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! We had a late arrival but were greeted warmly and with smiles from the front desk associates. Loved using the digital key to enter the room! Our room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pillows were great as well. As always, the cookies were amazing!

Very disappointed ! This is not the normal doubletree hotel ; there is no welcome to Hilton Honor , introduce the hotel or even the signature" chocolate chip cookie giving " when we checked in .
