Aside from a flaky internet service, this place is pretty decent. Close to freeway, yet quiet. Plenty of parking, easy room access. Modest breakfast included. Good size refrigerator; microwave; ironing board, hair drier. Good A/C Adequate number of stations and good picture quality on the big flatpanel TV.

The room had recent chewing gum on the carpet. Lampshade broken, handles on the bathroom sink missing, missing drawer from the nightstand, Hair dryer didn't work. It was designed as a kitchenette, but the stove was missing, and cabinet doors would fall apart if opened. It looked like no maintenance is being done and the last remodel was probably when it was built. At $85/night it is overpriced. More what I would expect for $40/night.

Hotel was in a good location near shopping and restaurants in Plano and easy access to several freeways. Good price and overall good choice for one or two nights if you don't need a lot of amenities.

We stayed at the Days Inn for 3 nights while we were visiting the big D. We had a recently renovated room and it showed, comfortable beds, clean and shiney bahtroom etc. The pool area was not worth visiting, there where chairs trown in the pool and looked uncarred for overall. Parking lot is very spacious and free so no hassle there. They have a 24hour check inn wich was verry convienent for us. There's a Wallmart close by for your groceries etc and several dinning options in within the 5 mi... Read more

Carpet was wet from the ac, Closet door came off the hinge and hit my wife and toilet seat was loose. No other rooms were available. Did not understand the front desk clerk at all. Noisy slamming exit doors were the worst while trying to get some sleep.

Management does an admirable job of dealing with the clientele. Unfortunately, this hotel is very popular with blue collar workers. So much so that most of the food available for breakfast was gone in the first 15 minutes (6:00 am to 6:15 am). Also, the night before, a hotel guest kept knocking on my door. I called the front desk, and the hotel employee promptly took care of the situation so that I was no longer disturbed. Having said this, be prepared for a lot of early morning guests who ... This hotel is tucked behind a freeway wall. Most guests are construction workers. Walls seemed thin, as you could hear other guests talking when in your room. The suites were nice and spacious with a kitchen bar that divided bedroom and sofa areas. I had no security issues, but my overall feeling is that I just didn't feel comfortable there.

Like these kinds of hotels, and perhaps hotels in general if not businesses overall, you get exactly what you pay for. In other words, I got what I expected. Mostly good, a little not so good. Instead of summarizing everything, I'll just state what stood out. Good: coffee in the room; continental breakfast, newspaper, instant checkout (really no check-out--just a wave and out the door). Not so good: tedious check-in; entrances not very well lit at night; rusty bathtub fixtures and a loose spigot... Read more

Obviously this Days Inn has not been updated in some time. I will never stay there again. To list what was wrong would take up too much time. I did take pictures if anyone would like to take a look at them. Just to name a few......The shower head was broken, Dirty waste in garbage can that was not mine, old cigar wrappers on the floor, cigarette butt on floor, curtain liner molded. I did not even sleep in the bed. I sat in the chair all night. The only reason I didn't leave or call upper managem... Read more

This is a cute hotel for the price. The staff was super friendly even thought they were dealing with a guests problem at check in. The room to some may seem out dated, however, it more of a rustic look. It was previously known as the Southfork. They offer fresh baked cookies and even breakfast. If you are looking for a clean bed and a average breakfast then give a try, we will be staying again.

Days inn Plano is a great place to stay. There was a problem with my door for my room and they moved me over to a new bigger and nicer room for the rest of my stay at the same price as my old room. All of the staff was very friendly and professional. I will recommend this location to any people traveling into town.

While the hotel was a little old and outdated, it was clean and the staff was exceptional! Good room at a great price. I will stay there again on my next visit.

Walls are paper thin. There was a family of elephants upstairs that were awake into the wee hours of the morning. Safety lock on door was broken. Only stayed here because it was free with my rewards. Would've rather spent money to stay somewhere nicer.

The room was decent. I don't like that they didn't have automatic doors when you come in. Kinda inconvinant when you are trying to get luggage dolly through the door. Also they have a small forier that has an aweful smell. But as for the room it smelled like bleach and lysol when we came back in the after noon. Also I don't know if it was humidity but when we had the air conditioner running the floor was wet

Stated at this property for only one night. Rooms in need of cleaning, property needs renovations. My particular room was missing light switch and outlet covers in multiple places, bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the stench in the room was bad enough I left my suitcase in the car. I won't stay here again....

I want to be clear, my review is on a RELATIVE scale for the price. I got this room for $70 mid week in a busy part of the Richardson/Plano area. This is just an average Days Inn. Property a bit old. But it was very clean, breakfast was good. That really is an amazing price for the area. Other budget motels were $90-$120 at the same time. You cannot compare a Days Inn to a Hilton Garden in amenities. AC was fine despite 100 degree weather.

We stayed overnight one night this week when we were attending a concert at the Gexa Pavilion in Dallas. Too many of the reviews I'd seen of cheap hotels closer to my destination seemed to mention them being in a bad neighborhood, so I went looking for a cheap place to stay that was easy to get to on my route to and from there but was a little further out where security issues weren't such a big buzz. The Days Inn in Plano was exactly what I what I was looking for and met my expectations. Fo... Read more

We've been at the Days Inn Plano several times now. The beds were comfortable, as usual. Good breakfast bar. But the pool was not available, which we have come to expect. I'm not sure it's ever been available while we were there. Minor maintenance items in the unit were pointed out to the managers upon our departure.

Front desk clerks asked me was I smoking in the room ? MY answer was no Sir I am not smoker. Following day the front desk clerk asks me if I was smoking in the room ? I opened the door and the desk clerk told the maid to walk into my room and smell for smoke. The maid told her she didn't smell any smoke. The Dot Head Indian clerk didn't believe me so she told the maid to walk into my room. Do you think I was upset ? How about I never return to this or any other Day's Inn establishment. Feed t... We were in town for business, but opted for the room with the jacuzzi tub as we usually do, to be able to relax while away from home. It was perfect. However our lights did keep going out for a while, but all in all was nice. You can tell it's an older hotel, but they keep it nice.

The pull out mattress was stained with urine and broken. The rollaway bed springs very warm and broke. The AC unit leak and soaked the carpet. Lucky for me I had nothing of value in that area. However the staff was great.
