Hotel staff was friendly and the rooms very clean. Great location by Interstate 35. If freeway noise bothers you, request room to west side of hotel. There are several other hotels around the area too.

We stayed one night and got in quite late. The check in staff were fast and polite- great service. Room was clean and had everything we needed for the night- loads of towels. Their loan-out program looked like a great idea although we did not try it. Room was cheaper than other hotels around and it's all new and modern.

Stayed here two nights. The room had a lot of space including small kitchen and sitting area. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There was easy access to the freeway. The refrigerator was noisy when it turned on. It woke me up so I turned it off. One other issue was that during the day while we were out the hotel tried to give our room to another guest. Luckily the person was honest and went back to the front and had the room changed.

My wife and I stayed there on friday until saturday morning. we checked out in that morning.Well we forget my wife shirts in the closet and called around 1:30 to ask if they found the shirts and the front desk said they were the only one there and that he couldn't check but for me to call back at 5:10 pm when their done. We know that we forgot them but them didn't find anything. so we won't be coming that location or even a Candlewood suites again.Beware of leaving things behind obviously if ... Read more

We placed a reservation several weeks in advance of the Memorial Day weekend. Since there were four couple going, we had requested that our rooms be close and on the same floor. Apparently, this request was completely ignored. To make matters worse, we were place in a handicap accessible room, which if you are not handicapped, can be very uncomfortable. Will opt for other accommodations than Candlewood.

It's always great to encounter such accommodating hotel staff. They greeted us and our furry friends. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I didn't love was there was no hot breakfast. That's not enough to deduct a star. If you are in NB, stay here and float the Comal the next morning.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted my friendly staff. We were a bit early for check in but were helped and got a room right away. The rooms are perfect. The kitchen came fully stock with plates, silverware and glassware and even Tupperware! We have had a wonderful stay!

This property is in really good condition and fairly new. The Manager told me it was built in 2013 or 2014? It is on the feeder road, so it is easy to get on I-35 southbound. My room was in excellent condition. I used the "CUPBOARD" for the first time and found the prices of the items to be reasonable. I had zero issues during my 1 night stay.

We stayed at Candlewood because they are pet friendly and we had our 45 lbs dog with us. The hotel was packed, so I was somewhat concerned about it being quite enough for me to sleep, and the noise bothering the dog. The staff was very friendly, even giving my dog a treat when I returned from walking her. The room was spacious and comfortable and quite. In fact the only problem I had was figuring out which remote worked what device, since the TV also had a cable box.

We have been traveling to New Braunfels for almost a decade. We've stayed at several locations but felt the need to find a new place. The full size refrigerator and freezer was a selling point for us. The room was a nice size and kept a cool temperature despite it being over 100 degrees outside. The person who checked us in was so sweet and pleasant to talk with. Even though there is no regular housekeeping service daily, we were told to bring our towels for exchange when we needed new ones. Stayed here for 3 weeks waiting on a visa with my husband and dog. The location is great. Near to lots of restaurants and other places. The staff is super. Friendly, professional and always ready to help you. The room was quiet, clean and equipped to let you prepare easily breakfast and lunch. Nice weight room and free laundry facilities. While it's never easy to stay long term in a hotel, this place makes it tolerable. Would recommend it highly.

I stayed at the Candlewood Suite for one night in fall of 2015 during vacation. Enjoyed it so much that I booked for three nights in November 2016. The rooms are large, clean, and well-appointed. We stayed in another chain for one night during the same vacation and we missed all of the space we had at Candlewood. The hotel is clean and the room was fairly quiet considering its location on I-35. Desk staff Tasha was awesome and very helpful. Because the hotel is on an access road, you have to lo... Read more

First and foremost a warning, be , absolutely sure you're on their website because I called and got transferred to some fake third party thing where I was overcharged and they refused to refund my money. Finally after many threats we were able to change our date. That being said when we arrived the hotel was nicer than I expected, with the only fault that I could find being the bed was a little hard and the lid on the coffee maker wouldn't shut. Still, this hotel is designed very well for the... Read more
