This Hilton property appears to be converted from another brand. It is not the typical Hampton Inn that you might associate with the name. It is a typical convention center property. The front staff was friendly. Parking was plentiful.the room was dated, poor lighting in the room, bed comfort was average, bathroom was clean but again dated in comparison to typical Hamptons. Towels and sheets were fresh and clean, some dusty surfaces, and several marks on walls. Small round table in corner with 2... Read more

Nothing wrong with this hotel, it just doesn't stack up to the other Hamptons I've stayed in. I didn't like how I had to get two beds instead of one queen. Staff is very nice. Room was clean, but there was a patched hope in the shower wall.

The customer service is great. Housekeeping could do a little better. I saw one of the maid clean the toilet with the same rag as the sink and ask her and she said no. I stayed in May for two weeks and was please for the most part of my trip.

Check in is always easy. Very clean room. Accommodated my large family. Friendly staff, comfy beds. The value for the breakfast that is served helps my budget conscious family save. I have always had a positive experience with Hampton Inn.

We used the e-registration for the first time. This worked out really good. The only complaint I have of this property is that they do not have microwaves nor mini refrigs in the room. If you want one you have to ask for them.

We have moved from LaQuinta to Hampton Inn for a stays in Mesquite. This hotel is very convenient to the freeway. The staff have always been very cordial. The only bad thing I have to say is "the rooms do not come with microwave nor mini refrigerator". If you want them you have to ask for them and then waiting for them to get to the room.

Front Desk Manager, Enrique was very helpful and accommodating! We were there for a wedding, and even though it was a bit of a drive, the hotel was nice. and I loved that there was no pet fee at this pet friendly hotel!

This hotel had such a friendly staff greeted me as I walked in and at first since I prechecked in said I didn't have reservation but quickly saw that I had prechecked in and apologized that I had snuck in on him! The breakfast was good beds were ok needed upgrading but this hotel was overall a great deal and I would stay here again!

I stay in hotels 6 - 10 nights a month and this is the first time in a Hampton that I felt like I was staying in a motel instead of a hotel. The building was probably thriving in the 80's and has kept the decor and carpet there. The location was excellent for our trip, the people were nice and helpful, but the facilities need work desperately. Definitely not worth the price.

Nice clean rooms. Suite are nice set up like an apartment separate living room with kitchen and two tvs provide. Swimming pool location great next to Mesquite Rodeo and right on the freeway with plenty of fast food restaurants

Overall my stay here was good! The front desk staff was very kind- especially Mr. Enrique Torres. After checking in, I went to my room. Note that there is a lot of walking in this Hampton Inn. If you cannot walk far, make sure to tell the front desk and request a close room on the first floor or one close to the elevator. My room was good. I am very much a hotel snob and appreciate clean rooms. My room was not dirty by any means, but I felt that some updates could have been made. I understand th... Read more

We had a quiet, comfortable stay at this hotel. The property is a little dated, but nothing wrong with it. This is a very large property and has lots of parking, which is nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if in the area.

During my stay my truck tailgate was stolen off my truck during daytime hours. The staff informed me that they had no cameras in the parking lot and to call the police. The hotel staff helped with one night but in the end they charged me full price.

Room was nice, but not great, pillows were flat. We looked in the guide for local restaurants and 3 local pizza delivery services were listed. We looked on trip advisor and found 10 restaurants and a movie theater within 2 miles. We had a great dinner. Breakfast included was average for Hampton.

Very comfortable beds and good food. I had a little slip up on check out total but I think that will be taken care of. Its a dog friendly hotel you might want to keep that in mind I didn't know that. It could have been an impact on my decision to stay there, but once I was there and all the dogs where yapiping, but cute, didn't like it but I am a dog person so I just toughed it out. Overall, I would stay again.

The hotel allows dogs in the room, I was lucky to stay at the hotel during a dog show. Yapping dogs at all hours, waking up at 3:AM to the sounds of barking, wet dog smell in the carpeting, just not what I expect when staying at a Hampton inn. As a Gold HHonors member they didn't have any additional rooms. When checking in I asked if the dogs were kept to a few floors, they tried but failed. I would not stay there again.

Check in was disappointing. When I tried to use key for Room 118 at 218, learned 118 was in the "basement." No refrigerator nor microwave in all rooms. None in 118. Next day staff found available refrigerator and two days later a microwave. We were there 6 nights. No charge for first night. Great breakfasts, large comfortable lobby for visiting. Hugo and staff provided a more-than-excellent buffet dinner for family of 25! Staff always helpful and gracious even when trying to explain how a famil... Read more

Disappointed in the work out room. All of the equipment was not working in the 5 days I was there. The breakfast was just ok. I guess that ok since it was free or came with the room. Refrigerator in the room was bent up and rusty inside. I thought it was not something you would have in someones room. It look as if it was found on the side of the road. I would not recommend this hotel.

I would rate it 9.9 only because it was a little far out from thing. If you didn't have your own car you would have to depend on other to get into Dallas. Staff was there when we needed them and help out as much as possible.

Overall, a fine place to stay. The decor was a little outdated and our electronic charging cables kept just falling out of the worn out receptacles. The toilet was on such a short flush that it took several tries to get any toilet paper to flush. Pleasant staff and decent breakfast.

Fantastic hotel, the staff were extremely courteous, professional and helpful at all times. The breakfast buffet had great variety. Hot and cold items and everything was fresh and not the same everyday! The lobby for this location is amazing - open and airy with plenty of table seating and couch and chair seating with privacy in many areas. The pool was great. I lived in dallas most my life and rode in the Mesquite Rodeo many years as a teenager so i am familiar with the area. The hotel was chosen by the company doing the seminar. The presenter first question saturday morning was "Where's Dallas?". The program lists the conference as being in Dallas. So if you think you'll be in Dallas, check the map first. If you are flying in from DFW you'll need a car not a taxi because there aren't restaurants that are in easy walking distance, more like hiking. B... Read more

Hotel is newer and has clean, comfortable rooms, clean bathroom & bed is very comfortable; the staff is very friendly & professional; has a great breakfast buffet w/lots of items to pick from, including eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, baked items, toast, milk, orange juice, coffee; nice outdoor pool; close to Town East Mall and lots of restaurants; nice lobby area for visitors to sit; one downside - no mini fridge in rooms.

Biggest complaint was no in-room refrigerator. Not acceptable for a Hampton. We were told we'd get a room overlooking the pool; instead we got one overlooking the parking lot on the opposite side. It was quiet and serviceable. Towels and bedclothes had a strong "cheap soap" smell. Nice shower. Cold air. 32" TV with cable. Breakfast was typical Hampton fare, but not prepared real well. Beautiful lobby. 10 minutes to the mall, good restaurants, and movies.

Stayed at Hampton Inn - Mesquite tx for a over night stay to be closer to the Veterans Hospital for my husband. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband uses a scooter and cane to get around and the staff was very accommodating to our need to be closer to entry so he didnt have to walk very far. Rooms were very clean. This is a top of the line motel with a very professional staff with plenty of rooms at a great price & only about twelve to fifteen minutes from Dallas Texas. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a good motel at good rates. The only thing I wish all Hilton Properties would do is drop their subscriptions to USA Today & their biasness. If u stay at Hilton Properties please help in getting USA Today dropped.

Good customer breakfast in the business....clean hotel and rooms. Good location... very friendly staff and great breakfast selection. Pricing a lil steep but was high due to the state fair...that was explained... would definetly stay again and search for the Hampton when traveling to other cities.
