One of my favorite hotels to stay at in Lubbock. Either there, or Embassy Suites. Most other hotels in the great expanse of dust aren't up to par. And please realize I grew up in Lubbock. Staff is always really friendly and personable. My only gripe, and it's not really a gripe because the hotel has no idea, but I work late nights, so the 8:01AM knock on the door from housekeeping kinda sucks, but they are always so friendly when I basically tell them to F*&k off for a couple of hours.

I stay in a lot of hotels during my business travel and have stayed in 4 different properties when I have traveled to Lubbock, TX. I will not stay anywhere else now that I have found the Homewood Suites. The service is truly amazing. They remember my name at check in, the front desk staff helps out in the kitchen and I cannot say enough about Joey and Rodney for the breakfast and dinner buffets. You will be missing out on a great stay if you don't check into the Homewood Suites Lubbock!

The Rooms are very nice and the staff went out of their way. Mini full size kitchen with real dishes, large fridge and dishwasher. Breakfast were great even made oatmeal for me. We had 4 rooms and they were able to get them somewhat adjacent.

This is the place that you can call home because you have the right staff here to make you warm and comfortable. Chef Joey creates delicious meals every morning plus a complimentary evening buffet to keep you abs pumping. Karon, the Guest specialist is the best man to deal with all your travel woes. The rooms come with full kitchen, great bed and sofa, clean with daily room cleaning service. Thank you, I will surely miss Lubbock.

We stayed at this hotel in Lubbock tx during the Texas tech graduation. They gave us upgrade which was great. The room was very nice. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful especially the cheesy hash browns and fresh squeezed oj. They were even willing to allow us to check out late. My only problem was the price. We paid $350 for one night all due to the college graduation going on. I'm aware that a lot of hotels do this in most college cities. I just thin... Read more

Very clean and spacious rooms. Great gym facilities. Polite and attentive staff. Great quality breakfast with lots of options. I would happily choose this property again. It also has excellent access to major roadways making it easy to go anywhere in town.

Let me begin to say that I stay in Hilton Hotels every other week. Particularly Homewood suites by Hilton, so I would consider myself a good source for the survey. The rooms were very outdated and disgusting I was humiliated when my wife went through the door. She never travels as though I always do and I typically always stay at a Hilton property and I assured her that we had good accommodations for this trip and there's nothing to worry about. When we walked through the door I wanted to turn ... Read more

We have experienced tremendous travel nightmares that are almost comical that they happened to us twice in 5 months! The property's staff treated us so special each time and if it had not been for the staff members, our trips would have been completely ruined. They took such good care of us! I would hire every one of them if I could and bring them back to Florida!

My family stay at this location when we visit Lubbock. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Location is extremely close to everything in town. Access to the freeway is very easy also. The local shopping mall is across the street.

The Lubbock Homewood Suites is a great hotel with an excellent staff. However, they are now in a construction period (June 2016). We were disappointed that there was no mention of the construction in conversations with the hotel on making the original reservation, or when we had to change it a few days prior to arrival.

We were here for a softball tournament. When we arrived the staff was very helpful and polite. Our room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable! The breakfast and evening social was delicious. Our entire family loved taking a dip in the refreshing pool everyday of our stay. Also for it being 100+ outside our room was nice and cool. Our entire experience was very enjoyable! We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Lubbock TX!

The hotel is older and in need of a few updates. But, it is obvious they are working to make it a great place to stay. I mentioned that the hair dryer wasn't blowing, but was burning hot. Nick had it changed within two hours! Our daughter was there for freshman orientation at Texas Tech. Nick made a gift bag with the Texas Tech emblem with a handwritten note to encourage her. The bag had microwave popcorn, Cheetohs, fruit snacks, crackers and a Gatorade. She was so impressed. Great beds! A few m... Read more

My friend and I decided to come down to visit the teacher store. When I called the hotel Derek was very polite asked me why I was coming down when I told him we were coming down to visit the teacher store he explained to me that the store was already closed but gave me some ideas of other things that we could do. My friend and I brought our teens down and once we got into the room he had goodies and several ideas that we could do with the kids the next day very polite staff wonderful.

I was not asked for identification when checking in. The smoke alarm in the den area of the room was hanging off the wall. There was no channel guide for television in the room. The refrigerator was EXTREMELY noisy. The tv in the den area of the room did not receive any of the major channels, cbs, nbc, abc, fox, etc. No steps were taken to correct this problem when I called the front desk asking for help. The desk clerk couldn't have cared less about us or the problems with the room. I WILL NEV... Read more

When we checked into our non-smoking room, it reeked of smoke and cigarette butts were in a window sill. We asked to be moved. The staff accommodated the move, although originally wanted to charge us more. The room was fine, nothing spectacular. We put 4 children on the floor of the suite area, mom and dad in the bedroom. Breakfast was poor. They ran out of butter and other normal breakfast condiments. The eggs were powered and sausage fatty. The only decent food was waffles, but the w... Read more

Went to Lubbock enroute to Palo Duro Canyon, 2nd largest Canyon in the US to Grand Canyon. Although friendly staff, modern lobby and good breakfast, rooms are out of the past, not very sanitary and dingy. We had 2 rooms booked at the same hotel and frequent Hilton users. We know Hilton's and this was not the best. Just need to invest/reno/deep clean in the rooms more, get new bedding and towels and more customers will return.

On multiple occasions there were bugs under my sheets in a made bed. Yuck. Then there were dead cockroaches on the carpeting at breakfast. Also the housekeepers did not clean the toilets or replace my towels at anytime in a two week stay. They're cutting corners here and it's painfully evident.

Let me say we have always liked the hilton chain and will continue to stay at them. But this particular hotel needs some help period. So we get back from getting our snacks for the night and the room next to us Room 312 has there TV Blaring as loud as it will go. We can hear it down the hallway and in our room. There was three of us staying in this hotel for a week on business. All three including me had this issue. This is due to a poor hotel design. The A/C unit is pretty much next to your bed and it is loud. I understand that there is little the staff can do but it would seem to me that there is room for improvement. If you are light sleeper better pack some earplugs or look for alternative hotels.

Great for families and for singles alike. Clean, quiet, safe, modern, comfortable - all the things you expect from a Hilton. What you might not expect is the level of customer service. You are treated like a friend, and they are pro active in anticipating your needs. Breakfast is plentiful, delicious, and has a variety for people with dietary preferences.

The one big glaring issue with the LBK, is that when people come in to conduct business, visit family, etc... there are very few familiar names with which they can comfortable book a room. Hilton has recently expanded their line of boutique and suite based operations, including the Homewood group. What is there to say? Hilton knocks it out of the park with excellent training of its staff, superb amenities, plenty of parking and with Uber on hand, makes it easy to get around.

The first floor room we were assigned was not on par with any other Homewood Suites that I've been to as a Hilton Honors Gold. As soon as I got the door open, we were greeted with an unpleasant musty odor. The couch in the living room was velour with stains and rips (thrift store special?). The chair was nicer material but in just as bad a shape with stuffing sticking out. The fridge was dirty. Tub had mildew stains. Dead crickets in various places around the room. Wonderful hotel! Very clean from the lobby all the way to the bathroom in my suite. I appreciated being able to decline housekeeping services since I like to use the same towels when I'm only in town a few days. It was wonderful having a small kitchen so that I could prepare my own meals instead of having to eat out the whole stay. I will definitely stay at this location in the future. Great job!
