I showed up at the wrong Hampton after driving alone for nearly 13 hours. Front desk helped me = no she did it for me - cancelled original Hampton with no losses and got me up to a quiet room quickly. She was great. Bed was comfortable with good pillows!

I would recommend this hotel. With that being said, Be careful with price gouging around events going on at the University. We paid over $500 for two nights the weekend of graduation. This is not a five-star hotel. It is worth $100 a night.

We stayed three nights and enjoyed the visit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The salt water heated pool was a nice treat. The breakfast was good--the usual fare at a Hampton Inn. If we were to travel to Lubbock again, this hotel would be on our list of places to stay.

I booked two rooms for my family the weekend of Texas Tech graduation. We were attending the Medical School Graduation. We were greeted in the lobby by friendly staff and quickly checked into our rooms. Because of the graduation crowd there were special snacks and lemonade for the guests both nights of our stay. The rooms were clean, neat and we got a great nights sleep. The complimentary breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

We drove to Lubbock from Colorado Springs for my daughters graduation. I had a room full of people getting ready for the big night. It goes without saying it was busy. An hour before graduation my daughter had a dress emergency. The staff was more than happy to help with all my needs. Specifically I want to thank Daphne, who went above any expectations I might have had. She saved the day!!!! I want to personally thank the entire staff at the Hampton Inn Lubbock for a wonderful experience......

The hotel is standard Hampton fare. Room was clean, staff was helpful, all of things you expect from a Hampton. However, the hotel signage is not highly visible during daylight hours and the property itself is located behind other businesses. It does not abut the frontage road. The sign on the Loop 289 eastbound frontage road was mounted below the signs of two other chains and was substantially smaller. Parking is a bit limited as other reviewers have noted.

Venessa, at the front desk is the best. From a week out I contatcted the hotel to make adjoining room arrangements, she took ownership of my visit. Venessa treated me like family, she was helpful, fast and a great pleasure to do business with. She brings great credit to the Lubbock Hampton Inn. Because of my dealings with her has garauteed all my future visits will invovle the Hampton Inn Lubbock

Great breakfast Spread put out. Friendly staff. Clean hotel set next to shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed watching motorcycle training across the parking lot at the Harley dealer. They also offer heavy hors dourves and wine in the evenings.

Not sure if I would recommend this hotel until after the construction is completed. I ended up with a screw in my tire and had to get it repaired. This repair costed me time away from where I needed to be. It's more than likely I ran over the screw in the hotel parking lot, but there's no way to prove it.

Enjoyed my stay. Only inconvenience was that the hotel was remodeling the exterior of the building at time of stay which created some parking problems. The sign hotel is overshadowed by the sign for a Courtyard Marriott and Fairfield Marriott sign so it's not easily seen from road.

We were in town for a funeral so stayed here since it was close to the service. The hotel is being remodeled so there is construction noise from 8am - 5pm. I understood that and it was not a noise issue. The noise I am referring to was our rooms. The walls are paper thin. They should add insulation or something to them during the remodeling. We were in room 122, which is in an EXTREMELY high traffic area. The last time I looked at the clock was at 1:09 am when the hall finally cleared. B... Read more

This Hampton was good overall. It's a lot smaller than any Hampton I've stayed at before. Room and breakfast area smaller, narrow halls, one elevator. But it has the amenities expected at a Hampton Inn, and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

Our beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. The pool was nice and clean with plenty of pool towels. The staff was nice and accomodating. There was not a managers reception when we arrived on a Thursday night, so don't plan on a free drink or light dinner.

I want to just give you the pros and cons of this Hampton Inn. Not too much reading, just facts as I see them. Pros: *Beds were absolutely most comfortable I have slept on. Comforter was crisp and clean. *The staff was awesome. Friendly and helpful. *The room was very clean. *Towels were not only clean but they were very soft. *Plenty of towels. *They were having work done outside and my daughter locked her keys on her truck cover. One of the men saw them and turned them in to the front desk. Al... Read more

Booked the Hampton because I'm a Hilton Honors member. Hotel was under a little construction at the time. Not an issue, they stopped shortly after I checked in. Clean room, clean hotel, quiet. Close to the mall and lots of food places. I would stay there again. I would recommend it.

Overall the stay was great. No complaints here and Meagan, at the front desk, was beyond helpful. She made sure our room met our standards and supplied us with a place to have our family dinner (takeout) with seating for all 7 of us, so we didn't have to use our room. She did other things as well that made our stay just that much better. The property itself was being renovated at the time of our stay but we had no issues there either. The full hot breakfast was as good as can be expected and it ... Read more

Wonderful warm pool & great functioning hot tub with salt water treatment so no chlorine which is great. Complimentary snacks, water & wifi. Better then most breakfast choices. Clean, great staff but more costly then the usual we encounter. Several eating choices in walking distance.

Nice room and nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Could offer more than two very thin bath towels per guest. Skip the pool. Both the room and the water are unbearably hot in the summer. When towels were available, they like the bath towels were too thin to be worth the effort.

This was not the Ordinary Hampton Inn. Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and had a wonderful table of appetizers featuring nachos and other goodies. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They knew the area and made great restaurant recommendations. A very good place to stay.

This is a great location for the hotel. 5 places to walk and eat, Wal-Mart next door. Clean room, great staff, free breakfast. The only down side is the comp internet. If you NEED internet for a laptop you will have to pay additional for a speed that works. Even with paying more the speed isn't that great.

I can tell by the size of the rooms and placement of the elevator in the hall this is an older Hampton Inn. The Hilton/Hampton website speaks that this property was recently renovated. When looking at my room, it was hard to decide if I was in a renovated one, or a well-maintained non-renovated one. When looking in the tub, I am sure it was still pending. The staff was professional and personable. The standard complimentary breakfast was as expected, the water was hot, and the linens were... Read more

The Hampton Inn on Loop 289 in Lubbock is a great place to stay. Being right on the loop, it is convenient to everything. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. It seemed everywhere we went was no more than 20 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a regular stopping point for me, the hotel has recently undergone an upgrade. This hotel is older but the rooms are large and the place is spotlessly clean. There is an indoor swimming pool which I have never used. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance from this hotel. All in all, good service and standard that you would expect from the Hampton chain
