Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. Went to Kingsville to visit my son who is a pipeline working in the area for two months. Recommend this hotel if you're traveling to Kingsville. You will not be disappointed!!!

Attended a retirement and family reunion. Hotel convenient to function location and near University and Military Base. Rooms nice and comfortable. New furniture replaced recently. Breakfast hot and varied (stayed three days).

We were going to Kingsville for a graduation, and we had stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful--made us feel welcome. Accommodations were adequate and clean. The breakfast was quite good. Would definitely stay there again.

We were pretty surprised at how small the rooms are. We had our college-age daughter spend the night with us as we had packed up her room at TAMUK. Her fold-out bed was literally 2 feet from out bed. No sheets, blankets, or pillow for her bed. The front desk eventually supplied them. I washed my hair and discovered the hair dryer was broken. When I reported it the next morning, the staff wasn't surprised. Breakfast was so-so. I'm allergic to eggs so thought I could get sausage/bacon and ... Read more

We had children with us, a 9 and a 3 yr old. They placed us on the bottom floor which I thought was great because I didn't have to worry about the poor people below us. After a long trip in the car it's hard to keep young ones still. Great thinking on the hotels part.

All in all a nice hotel in KINGSVILLE, you have to loop around the interstate to get to it but it's close to shopping and NAS KINGSVILLE as well as the hospital. Lowes and Wally World are close by also.

Stopped here on our way to South Padre. Hotel was very nice. Hampton standards. Room did smell a little musty when you first walk in, but then you get used to it. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, but good. They have to keep the breakfast area so cold, due to humidity, that it is very uncomfortable, so take a wrap of some kind. Right off expressway and a good location.

This Hampton was typical although the staff particularly attentive. The decor was standard and nice. The hallways upstairs were extraordinarily hot. The room was pleasant except the AC noise was unfortunate.

Carpet in room damp AC not working. Ceiling did show patch of water leak. We had two rooms on third floor same on both floors. We walked with our socks on and they did show damp carpet. Breakfast was cold and apples were rotten

Traveling for vacation. Chose to stay at the Kingsville Hampton because of good reviews it received. Found these to be accurate. We were quickly checked in. Given good information re: area restaurants. Found room to be very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast area had enough room, and was also very clean, with good variety of choices. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a good hotel with no surprises. There was very little outside noise, good black out curtains if you needed a day nap. The WiFi was a bit spotty, but the staff were/are quite helpful. Did not feel like strangers intruding or anything, very comfortable and easy to get in and out. The pool was not just a little hole in the ground, but was not anything special either. Overall I really liked our stay. The hallway was hot, but the rooms were nice and cool and relaxing, staying cool the en... Read more

I stay at Hilton and Hamptin hotels a lot for business. This hotel was ok but nothing special. Room was clean but had a definite smell. Breakfast was very minimal and coffee wasn't good. Front desk staff was ok but not overly friendly.

As we drove into Kingsville and I read the reviews of all the different hotels in town, I started to get more and more scared of our choices. We opted for the Hampton Inn, and I'm glad we did. The check-in staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating (although the price quoted was no different from any of the other sites I checked online and the Trip Advisor Coupon wouldn't work). There were cookies at the coffee station for the kids, and our room was nice and cold when we arrived. The linens... Read more

This hotel is one of the best in Kingsville. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean. It's located in a great place that is close to restaurants and Walmart. Yes, it costs more, but the other hotels are not that great. I liked the parking and how safe it felt.

The hotel smelled of urine. They had industrial sized air purifiers in use on second floor. There was mold in bathroom. Roaches in pool. Food handled without gloves. We were told there were no other rooms. We were refused a refund and did not have money for another hotel

Nothing extraordinary about this hotel was present during my stay. But it is the typical Hampton Inn experience with fairly good breakfast, extremely nice staff and the location superb taking into account the location of the workplace I visit there. The room was fine but just smell a little bit wet. I would come back to this hotel if in the area again for work.

The breakfast was disappointing. Only two hard biscuits and just scrapings of sausage gravy left in the pan. The egg omelettes were overcooked and drying out. The oatmeal pot was totally out. There was no 2% milk left. This was all before 9:30 a.m. The orange juice was really good but the decaf coffee was not hot.

Seems like housecleaning all they did was make the bed. when i first arrived, i checked in my room and there was dirty towel left on the bed. then there were dead cockroaches on the floor in the restroom. Something that can be easily cleaned up from housekeeping. Co worker experience the maintence crew left their materials in his room and didnt put up blinds. another co worker said someone walked in his room. they double booked his room.

As Diamond members, we've stay at many Hampton Inn's. We found this Hampton Inn to have well trained employees who go out of their way to please! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Rooms are squeaky clean with very comfortable mattresses & linens. King bed had two down and two foam pillows. Small work-out room with one elliptical & one treadmill, a weight bench, hand weights and kettle balls. Just enough to get in a decent workout! Room had a VERY STRONG urine odor. I asked to Change rooms and as I left, 3 cockroaches scurried out from alongside the walls. Went to new room where thermostat was set on lowest setting. You could have hung meat in the room! Turning on the heat to warm it up some only set off the smoke alarm and filled the room with smoke. By this point, there was a new person at the front desk who was less than concerned about the roaches and informed me the the heat setting is never used and therefore it's no... Read more

The hotel was very clean inside and out, the beds are comfortable and firm. The hotel only has one elevator so it might take a minute to get to your room. Make sure you book early and request double beds because we got a single, but it wasn't to bad. The breakfast was great because the potatoes were cooked with onions and bell peppers. Yummy!!!

Definitely the most comfortable hotel in Kingsville. I love that Hamptons no longer use bedspreads, but use comforters that get washed every time. The staff is always super friendly (I am usually arriving really late) and helpful. I was going to make some tea and he got me water so that it would be hotter than in the carafe. Only issue is they are removing micros and fridges from the room.
