The room smelled strongly of mildew and the bathroom floor were sprinkled with hair. The bath tub was blackish on the bottom and the trimmings in the bathroom were half fallen off. Apart from a bar of soap there was no shampoo or shower gel. The lamp on the desk had no screen, just a naked bulb. The carpet and walls were dirty and stained. The only thing that was good about this hotel was that they had a free airport shuttle.

We had two rooms reserved. We were going on our honeymoon and taking some family members with us on our way to Florida. I had a room with a king bed and a room with two standard beds non smoking. The king was ours and it was fine. The double bed room was for my granddaughter and my sister-in-law who has bad allergies. Their room smelled like stale cigars. The smell was awful and strong. We went to the front desk to ask for another room. We were told that all the non smoking rooms were booked. I... Read more

I purchased the PARK AND FLY package, 14 free nights parking with a stay. I verified I had the free parking with the 2 men at the front desk as I was checking in. We discussed how a person had to contact the main office to get the package. One of the 2 men verified again my reservation had the free package. I get home after my week vacation and find a charge on my credit card for my parking. I call the DFW Red Roof Inn and one of the 2 men that checked me in denied ever saying I had the fre... Read more

My friend and I stayed here for a week while we were in town for Wrestlemania and the associated festivities. We very much enjoyed our stay and found that while the rooms were basic and no frills, they served our needs. The wifi was not that great, so I wound up using a lot of data. But the room served its primary purpose of being a clean, quiet place to sleep. I'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed overnight after a late flight into Dallas. The room was clean, quiet, and the water pressure was amazing in the shower. A full 36 hours after check out I realized I had forgotten my tablet. It had all my personal information, accounts everything on it. I called back to the hotel to find it safely with the manager who offered to ship it directly to me. I decided to pick it up on my way back through 3 days later and it was perfectly unharmed and hadn't even been accessed. Amazing honestly... Read more

While travelling through the DFW airport, severe storms closed the airport for the day. The luggage was already on the plane and could not be removed or accessed. The Manager and staff gave me supplies and charged my cell phone. They assured my family that they would see to it that I was picked up and taken care of. GREAT personal service.

It was a toss-up between the AC that stopped working, the internet that was off for about half the time, or the baby roaches in the bathroom that really gave me a bad impression of this hotel. It was the cheapest place in the area and I got what I payed for.

so we had a lay over between Denver and Mexico of around 12 hours and it was over night and decided we would stay at a hotel to sleep so we had plenty of rest for our vacation...we chose Red Roof Inn at the Dallas Ft Worth DFW location...first off they have a shuttle that picks you up and takes you back to and from the airport, definitely one of the main reasons we chose them...all we had to do was call them and let them know that we were ready and they would send someone...first time we called ... Made it to the room and the phone kept ringing with nobody there and wouldnt clear voicemail (unplugged it). Batteries in tv remote-dead. Only saving grace was it was clean and quiet once you get away from staff. Watch carefully for shuttle as it services 6 hotels. Stay elsewhere. Shame it couldnt st... Read more

Woman traveling alone...Booked to get five hours sleep due to late flight. Said they had shuttle. Waited 45 minutes for it to come. Would have taken Uber if I had been told one of several times I called. Finally Got to hotel. Front desk announced my room number with some strange man in lobby. Then I had to walk outside in dark at 340am to another building. Then key didn't work! Went back through the dark parking lot and checked out. Scared to death! Thought I would be attached. My reservation agent did not ask for my credit card, and I assumed that he had that information when I gave him my Redicard number. He just said I was all set. When I arrived, they first said they had no rooms. Then when I pressed them, they said they had a smoking room. I had to take it because I was stuck and had to leave early in the morning. I was making a quick trip just to take delivery of a business-related item. I did not need high end, but when the room is so shabby that you need to look for bed bugs, and instead find ashes in the bedding, that IMHO, is pretty bad. Yes, there was a problem making a same day reservation on line (and suggest not attempting it), but I noticed it immediately and called the site directly to make the correction. Except, they changed my Superior King Non-Smoking Room for $76 to a Twin Smoking room ... Read more

I typically stay at this hotel for parking and a room overnight after a long flight. In the past it has cost around $55 total. I booked this hotel the same as normal and arrived today only to be told that parking is no longer free but costs $5 a night. Why was I not informed of this before my trip? My total cost is now well over $100. I do not plan to stay at this hotel again. It's a bit sketchy and you have to wait forever for the shuttle. It is no longer a good deal financially or otherwise. ... Read more

Since management change a few months ago the internet here has been terrible. Intermittent at best. Mostly unusable. Staff is no help and doesn't care. Van to airport often has no air conditioning. At 97 degrees they will make you wait thirty minutes then ride around the airport for another thirty. Rooms smell like old socks. A/Cs are loud. The staff can be rude (except Jose who is terrific). Otherwise the rooms are ok.

Budget option. Rooms more or less clean. No problem with pets and he shuttle runs all the time, thighs the wait to get back to the hotel once you return to DFW airport may take a while. If your planning on leaving your car at the hotel while your gone the Parking will cost you $5 a day.

The Red Roof Inn has always been a great budget hotel. Rooms are clean and super quiet.. actually I would say one of the quietest airport hotels in the area, you can't hear any planes taking off or landing. The rates at this hotel are outstanding, very very very good value for the money. Enjoyed the free WIFI and Airport Shuttle.

A good, quiet, place to stay. Room was clean with fresh towels. Comfortable bed. Maid service was prompt every day. ut the coffee sugar and creamer packs had been torn open and stir stick had been removed. I felt a bit uncomfortable using the opened packs. Next day, no coffee was left, but they did leave new sugar and cream packs! This was the only bad experience I had.

People love to hate on the Red Roof. I regard it like Southwest Airlines, you get what you pay for, and judge accordingly. The counter staff are always polite and accommodating. Many airline crew stay with the Red Roof due to their prices and concrete walled rooms (quieter than most when DFW is using 17L!). Across the parking lot is a Denny's, walk a bit further and there is a Valero Gas Station with wine, micro and macro beer and snacks. Not fancy, but functional...like a DC9!

I have traveled a lot and I've never stayed anywhere with a more pleasant staff. I've now stayed at this hotel 4 times and I never even walk pass a staff member that they don't smile and say hello and ask if everything is OK or if I need anything. I'm very picky about cleanliness and every room I've stayed in has been exceptionally clean and fresh. If you ever have the opportunity to stay here don't pass it up!

The staff was friendly and the lobby was nice. Free coffee in the mornings, but it's not very good. In our room, we were uncomfortable. The floors were not vacuumed. I walked around barefoot and had things stuck to the bottom of my feet. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the room smelled moldy. It made it hard to sleep comfortably. The free shuttle service was very convenient and it was close to the airport. They offer wifi, but it did not work in the room.

This use to be my "go to" layover at DFW, but not anymore..the wifi is still as crappy as ever, the painter doesn't seem to be too proud of his work (still masking tape on fixtures, paint on the floor), the TV remote doesn't do anything other than turn the TV on. I do have to admit though that Lamar and Donna are wonderful at the front desk. If only the owner would invest a little into making this a better place to stay, I'd be here more often instead of Motel 6.
