The company selected this place. I am not a Hilton fan even though my daughter worked for them for several years. When I checked in at 2:00pm the room was not made up. Had to call the front desk. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in and check out was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. The big problem was the door handle would stay down and you'd have to pop it up. Also the metal piece inside the door jam was missing a screw so it would fall down and you'd have to push it back in to close the door. My 5 day hotel stay @ Irving, Texas was good and met all my expectations. The breakfast buffet was quite good and a bit expensive. The variety was good and the convenience was excellent. I would stay at this hotel again if and when I might be in the Northwest Dallas area.

This hotel should be removed from the Hilton program. Our room had a huge fresh water stain on the carpet. The cleaning carts were left straggling in the halls all night and were still sitting there when we checked out. The front desk personnel were very low customer service trained.

We had an overnight layover at the airport near this hotel. It took forty five minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Once at the hotel we had already done the online check in so we were given delicious warm cookies and bottled water. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Slept great, room was quiet. Morning airport shuttle was timely.

The service was accommodating when you asked for things, but they did not have the comforts of a bellman, magnifying mirror, down pillows. Once you asked they kept delivering. The disappointing thing was that black sooth was at the bottom of my shower/tub. It would come back even after the room was cleaned. I did not want to move to another room after I had unpacked. Restaurant food is O.K.

I'm giving this an average rating although some services were very good. For me I needed a stay near the airport before driving 2 hours to see my family. For that purpose it worked well. Super nice clerk at front desk checked me in quickly and offered me both a warm cookie and a bottle of water. Room was clean, and comfortable. Not a brand new hotel, but kept in great condition. 24 hour shuttle service to the airport was a convenient. The driver was running 15 minutes late, but I scheduled extra time. Would stay here next time when in the area.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and efficient. Only problem was the proximity to the airport. While it was conveniently close so as to take a shuttle to our terminal in the morning, you had better have ear plugs! Lot's of planes flying overhead during the night. Run down definetely not worth 200/ nt. Big property with really poor air conditioning temp would vary by ten degrees all night long hot cold hot cold - majes for a miserable sleep. Breakfast buffet really only choice - 17.99?

This place does not warrant the Hilton name. Although the lobby is nice, the rest of the hotel is out dated and just plain old. The AC in my room was the nosiest in any hotel that I've stayed. I was hot and miserable most of the night. It would turn off even though the room was not at the temperature I selected. No working exhaust in the bathroom. No a great neighborhood either. I will stay at another Hilton property next time.

We stayed here going and coming on a recent trip and the hotel is just ok. We had an executive suite and it was clean but was in need of some cosmetic repairs. The executive club was closed for remodeling but we did receive vouchers for breakfast at the restraunt.

This hotel looks dated from the outside, looks dated in the lobby, dated in the corridors and dated in the room. It's comfortable enough but I couldn't get over the 1980s feel of the place. Stayed at the Doubletree before when we flew to Disney World so was 1st choice when we went to Mexico. Hotel is fair..needs an upgrade badly and isn't what you expect from a Hilton. They do have there own shuttle service that runs 24 hours a day on the hour and half hour. For a Diamond member with Hilton I didn't even get a room on the honors floor which usually are nicer than the rest of the hotel. Also, my room was noisy and nothing special pretty standard. I waited in line to check for near 20 minutes the process was a pretty slow overall. Just average

We passed through Dallas on our way home to Houston, from a 5,000+ mile road trip. We were tired and anxious to get home. Staying at this Doubletree seemed to recharge us. The most restful sleep the whole trip. Food was better than expected too!

I have never been so disappointed with a Doubletree. Arrived after my flight was cancelled, called for a shuttle and no one answered the phone the first try. Called again, and after letting it ring several minutes, got thru, but when I arrived at the hotel, there were 12 people waiting to check in, with only one person at the desk. If this property was remodeled it was hard to tell. It feels tired and old. The rooms are OK but the HVAC system can be very noisy making it difficult to sleep. The hotel is definitely an older one, and the rooms are a little smaller than to be expected. The location, however, is fantastic and so is the airport shuttle. It's great for early flights out of DFW. You can also stay the night before your flight and take the shuttle and leave your car in the parking lot, which is an excellent benefit. I've stayed here multiple times, the most recent time in May. A great value

The HHonors wifi experience is painful. Requiring the user to enter their HHonors password to access wifi is unnecessary and frustrating. The restaurant and bar served excellent food, but the service was not very good.

I usually travel on early morning flights out of DFW. So that I don't inconvenient my family... I usually stay here so no one needs to get up in the middle of the night to drop me off at DFW. This is such a nice, clean, convenient but mostly..the best value ! Shuttle service runs every 30 minutes !!!

My husband and I experienced issues at this hotel that I should never have experienced at a Hilton. The air conditioner did not remove the humidity from the air, so my bed felt wet. Also, the shower temperature went from freezing cold to scalding hot (back and forth) while I was trying to bathe. Also, the next morning while I was trying to work, there was a dog left alone in the next room that was barking and whining in the room. It was very difficult to work with the noise.

Rooms are over for a remodel. A/C control wouldn't cool the room more then 77 degrees, which is prime for bacteria and negative aromas to linger in the air. carpet and tile felt dirty. poor quality of food in the restaurant. Room service took more than two hours to deliver a salad and a bowl of fruit ordered at 7:30 pm. Quite expensive for the all around poor quality. And being a HiltonHonors member didn't matter.

Stay here if you come late, need a bed, and an early ride to the airport only. My family stayed for 2 nights. We only paid $40 per night as we used points plus $$ to stay. That's the only reason we stayed was the low price. The room was very dated, had a large water stain on the ceiling, and the bathroom was super small. The worst part was the humid/wet feeling in the room which caused a mildew smell and almost a "smokers" room smell even though it was a non-smoking room.

We are Hilton Honors members and therefore stay there as first choice... this Hilton would be last choice :( Pool had dog hair in it and no pool towels, poorly kept area. Food was just "okay" from room service and normally Hilton is very good. Nachos were loaded with fake orange cheese and not much else and VERY late... they even called and said another 10-15 minutes!

I always stay at this location. Travel around DFW is very easy with a rental car and during one stay I used the Double tree shuttle which was also very convenient. On our last stay it was during a girls soccer tournament. It was very load in the halls during the day, but room was fairly quiet, after around 10 pm the room was very quiet at night. restaurant for in house dining dinner or breakfast is excellent. I'm never around for lunch so don't know about lunch. Beer is cold too.

If you're in need of a hotel near the airport, then you're likely flying out early the next day (or got in late!) and your biggest concern is a quiet, comfortable room. This place has it. The Hotel staff is great and attentive. However, the hotel rooms need updating! for the money, you can stay at a much nicer place. the rooms were clean and such but the hotel needs a renovation bad. The surface of the tub was falling off and there was cracks in the sink as well. I probably will not stay here again when im in town.

To start off my visit the little woman behind the counter was clueless and couldn't find our reservation even though I called earlier to confirm. She could barely read the computer screen. I stayed here, reluctantly, to be at the same location as some coworkers as we were all in town for a meeting. My last stay here about 10 months ago left me unimpressed. I was pleasantly surprised to have a good stay here this time. The room was very clean and comfortable and at a good rate. This time was as I would expect from a Hilton property.

Don't get a joint room if you want privacy. Don't expect to take a lot shower either. Be able to speak a little Spanish if you want anything. The showers has no pressure. Overall it was a nice hotel. Those few things stop them from getting a 5 star from me

Great service from check in to check out. The front desk attendant was bubbly, smiled frequently, asked about my day, and acknowledged my status with Hilton. The cookies are always great and even though this is an airport hotel, there was no indication other than seeing the planes from my window.

Stopped here for one night while traveling for work. This property is not up to the standards of the chain! The restaurant found a way to ruin a hamburger. The room was an ice box when I checked in and never got to a comfortable temperature. I'm in hotels almost every week and this one was the worst I've been in this year!

The staff here is very nice and accommodating. The restaurant has relatively high-priced mediocre food for dinner, while the breakfasts are excellent (but again exorbitantly priced.) okay location if you come from the airport. can't see anything else positive about this place. there were trash in the trash can when we arrived. the AC was so loud it woke me up 2am. hot water came out of the right knob one day and the left knob the other day. had to request housekeeping three times before they came.

The room was infested with cockroaches and gnats, me complaining about the cockroaches did not seem to make any difference. The last time I had an experience like this in Arizona in a Marriott hotel,the staff apologized and gave me different room to stay in, and gave me $100 voucher to use in any other hotels, now that a service you can never forget. The hotel is located on hotel row. Literally surrounded by freeways and there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance. There is a shuttle to the airport and to nearby restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and business area was separated from the bedroom. It is near the airport so there was a lot of fly over noise.

This hotel was recently remodeled and you could tell. Felt brand new!!! Overall great experience. The free shuttle to the airport was the cherry on the cake. The room service food was hot and tasted awesome when it arrived in less than 30 min.

Quiet, clean, convenient and the friendliest staff I have encountered. Our extra requests were taken care of immediately with no fuss. Lobby contains Starbucks, Bar, and a really good restaurant (new menu just instituted). Never heard an airplane though hotel is near the end of runway. Free parking...large lot. Will stay here again.

Even though the hotel was renovating at the time of my stay, they were still able to provide a very good level of service and amenities. The location is very convenient to the airport and the city. The Staff was first rate. the pool was warm and its garden setting was beautiful.

No hot water to take a shower in some rooms on the 2nd floor. Front desk knows about the problem but don't do much but send their "engineer" and then tell you that if you would like to switch rooms, but that time you are already running late to take your shuttle to the airport.

it rained monday night and the ceiling outside the elevators at the top of the stairs on the one wind leaked like a waterfall, it was a mess. the ceiling came apart, they put heaters and fans in the area to dry it and it was very hot and dirty. they ran cords outside of rooms (trip hazards), it was loud with all the fans running. even an escape/evacuation light was dangeling from its wires (fire hazard and in an emergency a hazard to try to get out in the dark.) I was assigned a room with a damp bed. I did smell mildew when I first went to the room, but it was not terrible. When I went to sleep, the bed was actually damp. At first, I thought the bed was cold. It was not cold - it was damp. I called to get another room at 2 am, but the hotel was full. I should have never been assigned this room. I was assigned another room; but there was hair all over from the previous guests. Not clean.

Stayed here between flights. The hotel is convenient to DFW. The shuttle runs around the clock. Rooms are clean and spacious. Denny's Restaurant next door also conveniently opens 24/7. Be sure to call for your airport pick up as soon as you have your luggage. DFW has 6 terminals with multiple pick up points, it could be up to 30 minutes to wait for the shuttle.

Have stayed here numerous times. Hotel is an older property but well maintained. Staff is always courteous and helpful. We use the shuttle from the airport...never waited more than 10 minutes...they will also take you within 5 miles of the hotel. Only tried the restaurant once. Was good, not great. Starbucks in the lobby. Best is, you get a good comfortable nights sleep in a clean hotel for a very reasonable price.

Horrible check in experience, not what I would have expected for the Hilton Brand. Horrible location, you need a car. Shuttle is limited. I guess I should have done research before selecting this hotel. I really can't say anything positive about my stay.

Great experience. One problem housekeepers in hallway talking loud. Opened my door to let them know they were disturbing me they apologized moved on. Everything else was outstanding would recommend to family and friemds.

This is the first time I stayed in this hotel and it will be the last time. It is by far the noisiest hotel room where I have stayed years. When the shower is used in the room next-door it sounds like it is in the room with you. The people above sound like a herd of buffalo and it is so loud it sounds like they're in the same room with you. The best thing about this hotel was the comfortanle bed and pillows and plenty of parking. The valeeo and dennys in walking distance. I travel alot and been to alot of hotels this one was only ok. There was mold on the celings in the bathroom. The walls are very thin everytime my neighbor spoke coughed or flushed the toilet i could hear it. I probably would not stay here again not worth the expensive rates.

The management very friendly and nice... The only complaint I have is that the room as not as clean as I expected... There was a spot of something next to the wall by the toilet... Hairs in the ceiling and wall by the shower... The shower head was rusty... I opened the sliding door as I was in the first floor by the pool... There was rabbits and mice... The door didn't lock only the stick would hold it close... The hotel is older so it needs to remodel or updated a little bit.

The hotel offers good comfortable rooms. The food is good and may also be purchased at the bar. The bar and kitchen are open to the late hours. The business breakfast and lunch are good and complete with desert snacks and iced tea.

Hotel is very clean and a nice room. Although close to the airport, there is no airport noise that you can hear. Beautiful property. If you need rooms that are close together, the door areas are inset into a "V" with a door on each side. Straight across the hall is the same. I stay at Doubletree often and the Dallas disappointed some. I chose an upgrade and was denied when i checked in. Understaffed during check in and a rather long line has formed. Bedside table lamp didnt work for 3 the days i was there. It a nice stay but not the usual greaty stay.

I stayed at this hotel, because of its convenience to the DFW airport. It looks very old, with a strange layout of the rooms, elevators and stairs. The room smelled bad and was very unattractive. The one convenient feature is the digital key. I loved being able to use my cell phone to open the door (as I tend to loose hotel keys).

This hotel needs major remodeling. The bathrooms need new bathtubs and cabinets,the carpets are dirty and stained. There are roaches in the rooms. The staff is nice and helpful but housekeeping is careless

Very close to the airport, shuttle service was good. Food in bar was very good with healthy choices. The bed was super comfortable, although the room was a bit chilly for my liking- thermostat was stuck on 64- but it's Dallas! Overall a great stay for one night.

water leak outside my room, fixed only after second day, 3rd complaint. Shower broken, had to shower in colleague's room! 2 colleagues had bed bugs. Rooms smelled like smoke and mold. Shuttle service from airport took 1.5 hours wait in the heat despite numerous calls. Airport is 10 min drive to hotel.

I needed to pick some important people up from the airport after a 16 hour drive. Accidents and road construction had me arriving at 0430 . I was checked in quickly, given my favorite cookie and off to sleep. No issues, wait or complications. I only had 4 hours of sleep but felt amazing. Just the way it should be. Thanks Doubletree!

I stayed here on a business trip at the beginning of October with my partner. It's not one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in but the staff we're friendly and helpful especially Mark who works the bar and restaurant. Not only did he have great customer service and was very attentive, he also had a fantastic sense of humour and coming from Liverpool, me and my partner really appreciated it. Second visit in two years. First bad experience I thought people have a bad day. The second bad experience shows a pattern. Staff are not well trained. Did not bother to tell me it was a room with a Murphy bed. Door lock would not work consistently. Cafe that is supposed to open at 6 opens at 6:15. Not a consistent experience at all.

Excellent Front Desk Service (lady from Fiji), clean rooms, breakfast better than other hotels nearsby, fast wifi connection. Dennys and Gas Staion across street. One of the best choice close to DFW Airport. I would stay again.

Although this property does have some issues with cleanliness and quality of food, the staff did everything in their power to "make things right" when there were issues. Only staying here for work. They normally put olio in Hiltons, Marriotts etc... well this hotel seems fine when you enter into the lobby and front desk. But he room...... looks like an outdated Austin powers shag pad. There was a little black spider crawling across my ceiling so I couldn't sleep due to arachnophobia! I can't say enough about the staff here is welcoming our business group this past week. The rooms and meeting space get 5 stars from me. I have to add that the food was amazing and also 5 stars! Good location on the north side of DFW for catching a early morning flight. Staff was helpful & courteous upon check-in. However, the hotel itself is dated along with the rooms. The executive lounge is beyond average....Good for a quick one night in/out, but if I were traveling around the Dallas metro I would look elsewhere.
