The hotel was clean and the staff was great! The restaurant was fine for breakfast was fine and he beds were so comfortable. Hotel is in need of some updates but it has always been the people that make the difference. If I.m ever in the area I would definitely stay here again.

As a platinum for the last several years, this hotel is worth staying away from. Pros: -Location. This seems to be the only reason they can charge the high rate they do. -Full service. Restaurant, etc Cons: -Dated and Dirty. My mattress had a large rip in it. The gym equipment is disgusting- check out the ellipticals with rust all over them. -Poor Exec Lounge. A nice benefit of having status is the lounge. This one was one of the worst I've been to in a while. A plate of cheese, som... Read more

We planned a weekend getaway, the weekend rates or very economical. The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were more then I expected very comfortable. Room service was affordable and pleasing to the palate. The overall experience was extremely relaxing would recommend for couples families business great central location.

Starting with the positive, the staff at the Dallas Marriott is incredibly professional and courteous. The front desk and restaurant teams are great. The hotel has a strange vibe reminiscent of the "Grand Budapest Hotel" in that it feels as though it was once quite nice but has fallen on tough times. The place is screaming for a renovation. No bottled water provided at check-in or in the rooms. No minibar. Decor from the 90s. Carpet everywhere. Cuisine is typical "plastic" Marriott food found... Read more

Recently stayed here for 2 nights (Sat/Sun), in town for Cowboys game. the lobby is nicely laid out with a good ambiance, bistro was pretty good and room was everything I expected from a Marriott. My only wish/want would be to have a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. With the location, most of the surrounding area is office buildings and condos, so it was real quiet for the area. I had a lake side view and a small patio, which was perfect for me as I like to sit outdoors when able.

We came into town to visit some friends and stayed here due to the central location. The rooms are in need of a renovation and updating, however the view of the lake is very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly, I had lunch at the restaurant it was very good. Thanks chef Karla for your recommendations the pozole was awesome. Definitley staying here when we come back.

Although mixed reviews made me second guess my choice for our stay on NYE, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It's still a Marriott. The staff accommodated all our requests, from the location of the room (high floor and away from elevators) to the extra pillows we needed. We only stayed here for the after NYE party, but the sleep quality was great, room was clean, spacious and had a fantastic view of the lake and surrounding buildings. The hotel is located in a business area, quiet an... Read more

Quick and friendly check in, good sized rooms, ask for a lake view room and balcony. Perfect place if working nearby, good food choices in the restaurant and you can sit outside in the warmer months. It's situated on a man made lake, perfect for some before or after exercise (they do hv a gym too) and within walking distance to restaurants or a short car away to The Ranch Bar and Grill, which I would definitely recommend.

Friendly check in, room had a tiny balcony overlooking the small lake. Need some lights in trees around the lake and maybe a lit fountain or something as this would greatly improve the view and ambience. Free parking was an added bonus. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby but nothing within walking distance. The room was spacious and nice but the bathroom really needs an update and the grout looks bad. There was a stain on the shower curtain.
