Love this hotel. The hotel is in close proximity to the convention center. Parking is a little confusing for some, but I have been there a few times, and finally getting around to writing a review, so I knew the logistics. The bar seen is great. Lots of people on a nightly basis. Rooms have two entirely different views. One side of the hotel looks over a town house complex, while the other overlooks a manmade lake and office buildings. Definitely take the latter of the two. Some rooms have balco... Read more

Great hotel which was super close to the office. All of the staff was super friendly. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were comfortable. I could see this place getting an update in the next few years though. I did get room service a few times and it was pretty good, very prompt which was awesome. The Concierge lounge was ok. The chooses for breakfast were a bit limited and the food was ok. Next time I'll probably grab breakfast in the restaurant though.

This is a very clean property with ample free parking. The in-house food was expensive but there are a number of good places within walking distance. The hotel provides a great base of operations with local shopping and attractions near by.

Sitting next to a beautiful lake with running path, the hotel makes a relaxing and healthy home, away from home. I arrived early in the day and was promptly checked in. Service is good and therapies at front desk are pleasant and will in ng to help. Will stay again.

I still can not believe this happened at Marriott hotel. First, I booked one of the superior room for extra pay. After I checked in and get the key and go to my room, but it was the NORMAL room. I thought it was a kind of mistake, so went down to the front desk to ask that they gave me a wrong room. However, they said ' the guest extended their stay, so the room you booked were not available.' WHAT??? If so, they must better gave me the BETTER room, even I paid extra for the superior room. But, ... Read more

Stayed here to attend the Rolling Stones concert a year ago. The moment you walk in you start to relax. The spacious entry and elegant furnishing are warm and comforting. The beautiful tile floors, rugs and sofas are expertly chosen to compliment pieces and add to the beauty of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you in any way and promptly. I forgot my bottle opener at home but didn't realize it until I got to my room. I called the front desk to find out if the gift ... Read more

Stayed here for one night last month for business. The property is nice and has everything for the business traveler. Free wi-fi, enough power plugs in the room, and an easy check in / out. No complaints here. Beds are comfortable and enough pillows provided was a plus.

Poorly maintained, way over priced! Bathrooms have not been remodeled since the 1980's. Touch-up paint in room not done with a matching color, so you see the patchwork. Stains in room carpet. Stains on drapes. All photos taken immediately upon checking in. Too many issues to list...

Last week, I stayed here for three nights. Check- in was a breeze, the room immaculate, the lakeside view terrific, quiet, comfortable, breakfast was great. What more can a traveller ask for? The rates were extremely reasonable.

I travel to Irving and the Las Colinas area frequently. This hotel was recommended. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located right above a very nice walking path. It also had a nice bar area. The only thing lacking was a friendly staff and a comfortable bed.

I stayed here due to it's close proximity to our offices. While I have read many positive reviews here regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and facilites, the "A-Team" must have been on vacation during my stay. The staff was very helpful when presented with my concerns, but still I am a "fogrive but not forget" type of guy. I will be making reservations elsewhere (and gladly forego the 10-minute walk to the offices) the next time I return to Irving.

Staff was friendly , Gave good advise on local dining. Lake and grounds were very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. The area around the hotel is very new and we felt safe. Nice walkway around the lake area and local park with walking and biking trails was only a few miles away.

Well, well, what can I say‚?¶ I would say this is a typical chain hotel, same floors, same beds, same pillows, same TV channels, same services, same menu, similar price, etc‚?¶ I happened to be on a business trip in Dallas, and this hotel happened to be close to my office, so I stayed there four couple nights, the internet was good, the hotel is in front of a lake (though it was very hot outside), staff was friendly, many of them are bilinguals (ENG/SPA), you ask one thing and they will make sur... Extremely sad property..Wonder why is it even under Marriott, probably the only claim to fame is that it is a Lakefront property. The area is extremely dead. The service was poor, I asked for a bottled water, and Despite saying that they will see what they can do about it ( for a water bottle?!) , it never reached my room. Rooms need an upgrade, very dated. The mattresses were not in a good shape either, resulted in backache. Unhappy, never coming again

If you have the opportunity to stay at this Marriott location, make sure you visit Liz and Carina up in the concierge lounge. Having to travel a majority of my time and be away from home often, you seek out the comforts of home from time to time. Both of these ladies are super welcoming and create a positive atmosphere up in the lounge. They not only take the time to learn your name and about you, but also ensure that you are taken care of. In town for one night for business in the area, I really enjoyed my stay here. From easy mobile check-in, to a well appointed king room and fun lobby bar/restaurant, this was worth the price. Friendly hotel employees at every turn show they value their guests. When you spend so much time on the road it is nice to be pampered and appreciated.

First trip to Dallas and stay in the Marriott at Las Colinas. Good restaurant and breakfast. Good atmosphere in the hotel lobby bar. Nice view over the Las Colinas. Services in hotel are as should be. If you want to excercise than you need to adjust your expectations. The gym is below par. All in all a good stay.

I love using the Marriott app. I check in over my phone, and when I pull in to the hotel, my home is ready. It's all very simple. This was no exception. The room was ready, the front desk staff were very professional and friendly. I had never stayed at this hotel in the past, so I asked about running paths, or areas for running, as I always do in new areas. The front desk person knew exactly what I was looking for and helped. Stayed here for two nights while in the area on business. The hotel is a very typical Marriott experience: Nice, comfy beds; Large bathroom; Good dining room. My room had a lovely terrace. There is plenty of parking. Only complaint is the noise control. I was in a connecting room. I could hear everything going on in the room next door. There aren't many options for hotels in Las Colinas. Marriott is conveniently located near the mustang building loaded with offices. Although my room was ok, the temp was hard to control. Rooms could use a fresher look. Gym need major expansion and a ton more equipment. I will say, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, average but very friendly.

It was a nice hotel. The most important thing is easy to get to from the airport and it was very clean. I have stayed here prior and you get all of the amenities of the Marriott chain - workout facility, business center, concierge lounge... and it has a kind of bunker mentality - because there are so many people just like you there - stuck on travel. 1st time in this area and loved it. The hotel is nice. Room is clean and looking over a lake. I can see sunrise every morning. Just small note here: the pool needs to be taken care of; very cold water, lots of sands... We even saw a lizard swimming in it.... Valet parking is an issue... Seems like they are under staff.... Staff are nice. Location is great - very close to restaurants, shopping centers....

My room was great, clean, quiet heat/ac, Nice shower/makeup area. No free breakfast. Instead they have a "Bistro" that serves $7+ beers during a game and $13+ runny eggs for breakfast. I'm just used to hotels having a free breakfast, even if pretty basic. Marriott is trying to squeeze out some extra guest bucks and in doing so, squeezed me out of staying there again....

I stayed here recently on a business trip. Normally, I hate hotels because things invariably goes wrong. This time, I really didn't have anything to complain about. It started on the right foot with mobile check-in working as planned. It took 2 minutes to retrieve my room keys and I was on my way. The rooms are starting to show their age a little with worn carpet and water stains near the AC return in the room I was in this time around.
