I stayed here for the 2016 OTC and was not disappointed. The room was clean, the front desk was polite and the restaurant had a great variety of food. I will be back here again. Also, the location to and from the airport is a big selling point to me.

Great for business and getting around in North and west Houston. About 20-30 min to downtown, right on the 8 and close to i-8 and 45. A limited number of food options. Downside is the resturant is a bit on the expensive side, but the food is good quality. Very friendly staff, always welcoming and in high spirits.

Stayed at this hotel for a few days, the bar in the lobby area was good with great service and the food didn't take too long. I had two different rooms as I had to leave and go somewhere else and then come back, but both were okay. The club lounge was certainly a lot better once OTC started but overall the hotel was good.

Quick very close to the airport with restaurants close by.. They also have a pretty decent room service menu.. They do include tips in their overall room service charge. Rooms are clean, housekeeping does an excellent job. If you put a dnd sign on door they will leave you a bag full of clean towels on your door knob. Very nice! The only other hotel I've been that's does that is in Vienna. Great bar downstairs. Small 27 inch flatscreen which was the only negative for me.. No movie rentals as well... Read more

Selected hotel due to perceived proximity to the airport. But the hotel is not that close. There is an airport shuttle but it has to be called. When it arrives, it stops in every terminal along the way to the hotel as a lot of airline employees use the hotel. Then it stops in a Hilton and drops off people before arriving at the hotel. Give a good 20-25 minutes time to arrive at your destination. Nothing extraordinary about the staff. We left the hotel forgetting an item in the room. We called th... Read more

Pillows of hard potato bags and a/c like a freight train turning on and off with the frequency of a siren this Marriott leaves a lot to be desired. Kids noisy in the hallway. I'm actually looking forward to the coach airline seat so I can get some sleep.

As a current Marriott Rewards member (former Platinum Elite Premier, currently Gold), I have stayed at literally many, many Marriott properties all over the US and abroad. As such, I am well aware of Marriott standards, level of service, amenities, and consider myself a good judge of Marriott properties overall. I stayed at this property as part of a business trip to Houston in May of 2016. I found this property to be average overall as a member of the Marriott family and as compared to other M... Read more

As a current Marriott Gold Elite Rewards member I stayed at this property as part of a Park N' Fly package flying out of Houston Intercontinental. The property was clean and nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and found the food and drink good and reasonably priced. There is an airport shuttle which leaves hotel at five minutes and thirty-five minutes on the hour. When it arrives, it stops in every terminal along the way for both pickups and drop-offs. It... This is a regular spot for us. Great location maybe 15 minutes from the airport and 15-20 from downtown. Van driver was quick but has couple spots to pick up, never the less, great service. Hotel is modern and has a great bar in the lobby. Usually packed and the bartenders are great. Front desk girls very friendly but unless you put your personal cc on the room , you don't get the credit (horrible). Rooms are super nice and quiet! The water pressure is decent and amenities great. Room for your... Read more

Rooms are ok. Service and people are very nice but inexperienced. Drinks are good (they ran out of bitters - how is that possible?) restaurant is terrible! I have been coming here for years and the menu has not changed. The food has gotten noticeably worse. Most of it is frozen/ premade yet still rather expensive. Nothing else around here so you are a captive. I've spoken with management a few times with no success. Seems like they've made the decision not to change. Rooms are pretty inexpensive... Read more

Disappointed in the lack of security. My vehicle was broken into along with two others during my stay. The staff made it seem like it was an everyday occurrence. No big deal, no recording, not even an apology from management, or any staff member for that matter. It took two days of my time and it was costly to get repaired. Not the experience one would expect for platinum members or any guest. I Do not recommend this location.

We were there on business which was at this hotel, otherwise, would have selected a different one closer to airport perhaps. That said, this was easy to get to from airport and was not far from restaurants and shopping areas. Because the interstate ran right next to it, could hear the busy traffic which ran during the night, making sleep not as restful as we would have liked. Would like to have had extra linens, were a little sparse with them, only two sets and not the normal four sets? Room ... Read more

I was in Houston for 24 hours. Hotel has shuttle to and from airport. Hotel has Very nice restaurant/bar and food is very good. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Also has an indoor and outdoor pool. There is nothing really nearby that you can walk too. So you're stuck unless you have a car or taxi/uber. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here one night while my family accompanied me for business. We had one issue at the front desk where they gave me a one king room rather than two beds, but we quickly got it resolved. We were able to eat breakfast in the concierge lounge, which was high quality and the kids loved the pool, which is both indoor and outdoor with a hot tub. There is plenty of parking and this hotel is convenient to everything. This is my choice when I come to Houston.

Stayed here one night for business on my way to Galveston. Staff were incredibly friendly and the room was very nice. I was on the 12th floor which was really nice. That area of Houston isn't the most scenic but I did enjoy being able to see so far out. The bed in the hotel was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. I was out like a lightbulb within 5 minutes of my head touching the pillow. The whole property is very clean and easy to get around. Dining options are nice within the hotel ... Read more

Ice machine does not work on 4th floor. Street noise is horrible. They provide ear plugs in the bedstand, but I wear those at work, I can't imagine having to sleep with them. The A/C unit fan, when it's on, drowns out the street noise, but come on... Bed was comfortable. Room otherwise well apportioned. No coffee, just de-cafe in the room Airport transportation only every half hour...

Nice property, friendly staff but boy was it noisy. There was a lot of freeway traffic sounds all night and it woke me up several time. With all the hard surfaced buildings around the sound just vibrates through the area.

This was a very nice hotel. The entrance was beautiful and desk staff very pleasant. The room was clean and the mattresses were heaven. We upgraded to the Concierge status so we had access to the breakfast and concierge lounge room with fresh fruit, unlimited water and drinks. Lots of free parking spots. One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in.
