We ended up missing a connecting flight because of weather so we were stranded for the night. Luckily I've stayed at this hotel for work and it never disappoints. The rooms are awesome and the food in the lobby is great as well. If you have a layover or business this is the place for you.

we found this hotel very nice and clean, the room service food was great and delivered on time, the morning breakfast fresh and the staff helpful. We were stuck in Houston for a night because we missed the connection for our next flight. The hotel was a relaxing alternative after a crazy, long international trip. It made us feel a bit better about the trip.

The hotel has been beautifully updated. The beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the lobby is well decorated. The new concierge lounge is on the first floor and is large and we'll stocked. We stayed at the hotel, returned our rental car the night before (the hotel shuttle picked up from the rental return) and took the tram from beneath the hotel to our concourse early the next morning. The staff was really nice and friendly. Great place!

I had already had a reservation for this Marriort and when I arrived there was a line of over 40 people waiting to check in. No priority was given to marriot rewards members and they did not honor the online check in. It was chaotic and disorganized. When I finally got to the desk, I was told that I could only have the room if I was willing to check out by 8am because they were having room inspections at 8am. I insisted I had a reservation placed months earlier and they needed to provide me ... Read more

I've stayed here more times than I care to count. Houston is a huge flight hub, so a frequent traveler like myself will be stranded at the airport every now and then. This Marriott hotel is located inside the airport, so it's only a matter of taking a short ride in an internal tram to be at the lobby. I've never had trouble finding rooms, and its location is immensely convenient for early flights or standby. The hotel itself is excellent in my experience. Good restaurant, good room service (esp... This hotel is right inside the airport. Marriot beds made for a nice rest when our flight to Costa Rica was postponed until next day. A little expensive on the food side but hotel was reasonably priced for last minute stay. You can take a tram from the terminal right to the hotel.

Good location if want somewhere close to airport. There is a small train in the lowest level of Houston airport that travels every 3 mins between terminals & the Marriott. But is a long way from city. I took taxi to NASA Space Centre & was US$104. Service was excellent at Marriott, staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was quiet for an airport hotel. Small issue I had was linen smelt strongly of chlorine - was not nice with pillows. Issue never had anywhere else, hopefully only a temporary pr... Read more

You need to know that the airport train takes you and any baggage you can manage to the hotel - But - no luggage carts allowed on the train, and the train does not run 24/7, which is a problem if your plane arrives late like ours did. We then had to call the hotel and they sent a shuttle for us - But - it arrived about 30 minutes later. This hotel is considered to be connected to or "in" the airport, - But- you cannot walk to the hotel from the airport, must take train, shuttle, taxi, or other t... Read more

We stayed prior to a cruise 3/2016. The room was well worn and in need of a complete overhaul. The carpet was the worst. They wanted to charge for WI-fi, saying Princess cruise did not pay enough to include it. This I found outrageous as they had 3 buses of guests for the cruise. On the other hand, The bar area was neat and clean as well as the breakfast area. The service here was good & friendly. Unfortunately this was about the only good option for pre cruise accommodations.

Had to make a last-minute booking here due to a cancellation of one of my flights. Elevator coming up from the airport tram station makes it easy to access from airport terminals. Check-in was friendly and quick. Rooms are ok. Ordered room service and portions were huge. Had a comfortable stay with a quick transfer to my departing flight the next morning. Very convenient!

This hotel gets everything right. The renovation is wonderful, modern, well thought out and well executed. The rooms are large and comfortable, with great beds, bedding, and pillows. The Club was the best I have seen in a Marriott; Starbucks coffee and tea and fountain drinks with snacks available for free. The breakfast was also amazing, hundreds of fresh options from eggs, bacon, waffles, made-to-order omelets, pastries, etc. Staff was friendly and welcoming, this is beyond just a "layover... Andrea greeted us with a bright smile and professional attitude. We needed that after being treated poorly by a cranky American Airlines gate agent, when missing our connection (to check 2 bags) by 13 minutes. Andrea commiserated with us while processing our check in. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and had wonderful service, professional and friendly, with better food than we expected. I spent two nights at this hotel to make airport transfers simple. It certainly achieved that goal. Uber to had from Houston was easy and economical. The subway to and from the terminal is quick and easy. Signs for the subway said it did not run from 12:30-3:30 but others have mentioned that it stops much earlier than that. It is easily doable to walk but I would not recommend that late at night. I found the hotel common areas to be quite dark, the room was good, hallways a bit dated. The ... Read more

Neat hotel right at the airport. Due to flight delays we had to spend the night there, luckily our airline gave us a discount for the hotel. It's nice and clean and mostly quiet. Had your basics. One thing I didn't see what a towel holder. But hey, that's just me.

Without implying anything negative about the hotel, the highlight is the location. There is a separate stop for the hotel on the driverless underground train that connects the various terminals. Take the elevator up and you are in the lobby, and continue up and you are in the hotel proper. Rooms are laid out in a circle with spokes from the elevator connecting to the halls containing the hotel rooms. Our room was fine as was the lobby, though nothing sensational. Hotel on out of town which is a bonus if you are passing through on short stay as easy to get back on to main road. Wouldn't recommend for longer stay as I think it could work out quite expensive if you want to get downtown often. Free shuttle bus for 3 mile radius which can take you to galleria shopping mall, lots of designer shops with big price tags. Bar area pleasant but service a bit slow. This hotel was great since it was at the airport. The food was good, the staff was very friendly at both check in and at the restaurant. It was nice having the pool for the kids so they had something to do as well. I would have given it 5 stars but they gave us a pack and play for our toddler that was missing half the base pad so she was basically sleeping on the rails.

After a long flight I got to the hotel, a little cranky. There was a delay at checkin, so I walked over to the bar and mentioned my disappointment. This hotel has had a remarkable facelift in the last two years. The last time I visited I scratched it from my list of places I would care to stay. Location of airport is ideal if you need to be close to George Bush Intercontinental airport. One can literally take shuttle from your terminal to the hotel and back again.
