We ended up missing a connecting flight because of weather so we were stranded for the night. Luckily I've stayed at this hotel for work and it never disappoints. The rooms are awesome and the food in the lobby is great as well. If you have a layover or business this is the place for you.

we found this hotel very nice and clean, the room service food was great and delivered on time, the morning breakfast fresh and the staff helpful. We were stuck in Houston for a night because we missed the connection for our next flight. The hotel was a relaxing alternative after a crazy, long international trip. It made us feel a bit better about the trip.

The hotel has been beautifully updated. The beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the lobby is well decorated. The new concierge lounge is on the first floor and is large and we'll stocked. We stayed at the hotel, returned our rental car the night before (the hotel shuttle picked up from the rental return) and took the tram from beneath the hotel to our concourse early the next morning. The staff was really nice and friendly. Great place!

Rooms very clean, hotel very clean, excellent bar and bar food, check in very quick, can't fault this hotel for an overnight stop off. Excellent connection from the terminals and easy to get to car hire.

I had already had a reservation for this Marriort and when I arrived there was a line of over 40 people waiting to check in. No priority was given to marriot rewards members and they did not honor the online check in. It was chaotic and disorganized. When I finally got to the desk, I was told that I could only have the room if I was willing to check out by 8am because they were having room inspections at 8am. I insisted I had a reservation placed months earlier and they needed to provide me ... Read more

I've stayed here more times than I care to count. Houston is a huge flight hub, so a frequent traveler like myself will be stranded at the airport every now and then. This Marriott hotel is located inside the airport, so it's only a matter of taking a short ride in an internal tram to be at the lobby. I've never had trouble finding rooms, and its location is immensely convenient for early flights or standby. The hotel itself is excellent in my experience. Good restaurant, good room service (esp... This hotel is right inside the airport. Marriot beds made for a nice rest when our flight to Costa Rica was postponed until next day. A little expensive on the food side but hotel was reasonably priced for last minute stay. You can take a tram from the terminal right to the hotel.

Good location if want somewhere close to airport. There is a small train in the lowest level of Houston airport that travels every 3 mins between terminals & the Marriott. But is a long way from city. I took taxi to NASA Space Centre & was US$104. Service was excellent at Marriott, staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was quiet for an airport hotel. Small issue I had was linen smelt strongly of chlorine - was not nice with pillows. Issue never had anywhere else, hopefully only a temporary pr... Read more

You need to know that the airport train takes you and any baggage you can manage to the hotel - But - no luggage carts allowed on the train, and the train does not run 24/7, which is a problem if your plane arrives late like ours did. We then had to call the hotel and they sent a shuttle for us - But - it arrived about 30 minutes later. This hotel is considered to be connected to or "in" the airport, - But- you cannot walk to the hotel from the airport, must take train, shuttle, taxi, or other t... Read more

We stayed at the Houston Airport Marriott for one night prior to a transatlantic cruise on the Caribbean Princess. The room was perfect with all the amenities you would expect from this hotel chain. We had a room service evening meal and the breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. Both were very good and the service was excellent. The lobby area is quite spacious and there is even a small shop to buy those essentials that 'were forgotten'. The hotel even has its own stop on the airport subway ... Read more

I chose this hotel for my weekend stay because I ended up being stuck in Houston from all the flooding and storms. The location is amazing if you are traveling, as it has a subway tram that transports you for free to any gate at the Houston airport. The staff were average - they never went above and beyond or made me feel like they really cared, I asked them to help us find a good place to eat and somewhere to visit while we were in town, and I was told by the woman at the front desk that she di... Stayed overnight before an early flight. First stay at this location. What a pleasant experience. We checked in early in the evening, had some drinks in the lounge and later ordered a light meal. Service was a little slow, but I think some of the help were a little late coming on board, However, the drinks were great and the meal was a treat. Really good food at a Chain Hotel? In the Lounge? Who would have known? The hotel has recently been completely remodeled and refurnished. Nice an... Read more

We stayed here prior to our transatlantic cruise on the Caribbean Princess. The hotel is conveniently located at the airport and we found it easy to get there. The staff at check in were friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was fine and we did have dinner there. We did not have breakfast there as it only offered large breakfasts. We would stayi here again.

Hotel sits one underground tram ride away from the airport. For being next to the airport, noise level in rooms is surprisingly quiet. Rooms are a little on the small side, but well appointed. Had trouble finding decent place for dinner nearby. Staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel and the best location for overnight waiting flight time. Found hairs on the shower and sink, unacceptable for a Marriot. We are in 2016, even the most old and rusty hotel offers free wifi in the room, c'amon ! Need to improve or will never get 5 stars

We stayed prior to a cruise 3/2016. The room was well worn and in need of a complete overhaul. The carpet was the worst. They wanted to charge for WI-fi, saying Princess cruise did not pay enough to include it. This I found outrageous as they had 3 buses of guests for the cruise. On the other hand, The bar area was neat and clean as well as the breakfast area. The service here was good & friendly. Unfortunately this was about the only good option for pre cruise accommodations.

Stayed at this airport Marriott last night after working a 16 hour day and instantly fell asleep in the plush bed. LUV LUV the pillows! Dropped the temperature down to 68, it was cool and quiet. The Hotel went through a recent remodel and is looking really great. I'm am tempted to buy a Marriott bed! The front desk was great too!

Stay here when I fly out early from Bush Intercon in Houston. The rooms are nice and modern, free wifi, and quiet. The hotel has a single restaurant and bar which is nothing special but the service is good and food is decent. The front desk staff are helpful and the airport train runs to the lobby. There is a pool (never used) and decent outdoor spaces. Overall, its a good airport option.

Great place to stay if have an early morning flight. They do provide one night free self parking with stay but to keep it there for an extended stay it is quite expensive unless there is a special going on. We were fortunate to get a deal that included 9 nights of parking. If that wasn't available we would have parked in a park and fly and taken shuttle to terminal C and then rode tram to hotel. Rooms here were recently updated and were quite modern. We had a full size shower( no bathtub), huge ... Read more

We use this hotel for a night before Pre-Cruise. We fly from Seattle, and the ship's pier is in Galveston. We find the hotel is in the airport, and connected to the terminals by an under ground train. After picking up our luggage from baggage claim the train platform in on the same level. A 3 minute ride and poof, your in the hotel lobby. After a quick and friendly check-in it's a short elevator ride to your room and dinner. In the morning, there is a very nice buffet, and then a short rid... Read more

It was a several project and over due, but the complete renovation of the hotel has brought it into the world of a proper on property airport hotel. Always convenient with the underground team, the rooms are now modern after a complete makeover including the bathroom and with plenty of convenient outlets. We stayed here after having a flight cancellation. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole place. It's connected to the airport, so it's very convenient! The restaurant is actually delicious. The redfish corn succotash was so tasty. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and recently updated. Would stay here again if I needed to.

Very convenient to get to from the airport. You can walk or ride the underground tram. For Marriott Rewards Gold or above members, This hotel has one of the best concierge lounge experiences I have had. I was at the hotel for four days. The ladies who worked in the lounge were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure all needs and wants were met. After the first day they remembered my name and what I liked for my coffee and brought it to me before I could even ask. The food and... Read more

The hotel is right between the terminals and the airport people mover shuttle stops at the hotel. No need to wait for a shuttle bus as the train comes by every few minutes. There is a nice executive lounge that is open 24 hours a day, always with snacks, beverages and coffee. The staff is very nice. The only drawback is that it is a little pricy due to its connection to the terminals as compared to hotels a mile or two away.

This hotel is ideally situated next to the airport. When you arrive from the airport, you just go to the bottom floor to take the mini subway straight to the hotel. The subway arrives every three minutes to take you to your terminals. It is very convenient and worth the stay if you need to leave from the airport. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. We really enjoyed our room, but the only thing that was lacking was the wifi since we could not connect for free.

I've stayed here many times... I can go from bed to gate in 15 minuets. No need to enter humid Houston! The non-remodeled rooms are fine and have always been old - but you're there to sleep and move on. But the new rooms are fantastic. New lobby is also very nice too. One of my favorite airport hotels. Ask for a remodeled room!
