If you are attending an event at Texas Southern University (TSU) or University of Houston (UH), this is a good place to stay. The hotel is on the campus of UH and walking distance of TSU. The room was nice and comfortable.

This hotel has everything! Amazing staff (most are students in the U of H restaurant/hotel management program). The rooms are great - the restaurant is awesome - breakfast is a must. Mid-century modern decor is beautiful. The setting is great - parking is easy and the hotel is in a great location, without the downtown drama.

We were in Houston for a graduation and to visit family. We have stayed at several Hilton's before and decided since this one was on campus it would make it easier to get around campus. Overall experience was good. Make sure doing check-in you ask for a refrigerator, because every room does not have one. The bathroom was very clean and parking was convenient.

This Hilton was very convenient for our business conferences. Not too far from the downtown area in Houston. I wish that the Hilton at this location had a couple more places to eat so that we didn't have to depend on the Student Center for a quick bite if necessary. The salads at The Eric restaurant at the hotel were the best!

Attended a legal conference at University of Houston. This hotel was right there on campus and a close walk to conference. The best thing about the hotel is that it is largely tended to by students at the Conrad Hilton Hotel School, who clearly do a superb job in every facet, from cleanliness to friendly and excellent service.

Although we didn't get to utilize the pool I know last time my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it!! Will definitely be staying here again!!

Stayed here for 2 nights while at a trade show (downtown). The property is a little outside, so keep that in mind but it was easy to get in and out of downtown. The rooms were nice, quality Hilton type. Hotel bar staff was very friendly, but bar closes pretty early. The best part of my stay was after my stay. I left my IPAD in my room and the hotel was nice enough to ship it back to me.

Selected this hotel because you couldn't beat it for convenience. The reason I chose this hotel is because its location on the University of Houston campus. Because it's a Hilton property, I knew the quality would be decent and I was right. In fact, the quality and service exceeded my expectations. In addition, the hotel was right across the street from most of the UH new student orientation activities. All in all, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for a lovely experience.

This hotel is very well maintained and my room was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. The only drawback was that the pool and fitness facility were not exactly on the property, but they were just across the street. I enjoyed a healthy breakfast in the restaurant each morning. The staff was very helpful explaining the parking fee process and answered all of my questions during check-in and check-out.

Service during our stay at the University of Houston Hilton was poor. The pool and rec center were closed without notice for 5 of the 7 days of our stay. Two of the nights of our stay there was excessive noise on our floor. Breakfast and the service provided during the breakfast can improve a little more. Fruit can be little cleaner and fresh. Sitting and departure can be little faster as well. The workout/recreation area is with UT Houston and is really good. The room cleanliness are very good. The students on the front desk can be trained to be little more professional. Overall, this is a good hotel and good brand.

Needed a place for some spots in the area and this place is right in the middle of campus. It's part of the university program and so students doing everything. This has been my go-to Hilton in Houston for years . . . . but I'm thinking of changing. They try really hard (this is a training venue for the UH hospitality school program) but sometimes I need polished skills at the desk, behind the bar, in the kitchen, etc. And often something is "mechanically" wrong. I often stay at Hilton's for business, as was the case this time. This is part of the university's hotel management school and so many folks being trained. Still service was very good. The room was enormous and attractive, toilet flushed well. The shower worked well and was attractive and the internet signal was good. The in house restaurant, Eric's, was fine. Perfect location for visiting the university. Overall very positive experience.

The front staff needs training on welcoming guests regardless of their diversity. The hotel is a training site for students from different countries. Thus, they need training on diversity and making guests feel welcomed.

We stay here a couple of times a year, usually for University-related events. (Our daughter attends the school.) It's a good, basic, well-maintained Hilton. Very clean; very helpful staff. Rooms are maybe a bit smaller than the average Hilton. Front desk staff is often in training and requires a bit of patience.

We had a great stay at the Hilton. The staff was wonderful & we loved being on the campus so close to our daughter. We will be staying here every visit. It is so worth it!! I recommend it to anyone who visits the campus for any reason.

I just wish there was a price break for parents and alumni. A few years ago, I got a room for $80/night. Now it's $179/night with AAA/AARP. It's fun that the hotel is staffed by students of the school of hospitality.

If this hotel had any reasonable parking for an SUV (and a lead desk clerk that didn't argue with me about the width of my car versus the width of the parking spaces in the garage, I would give this property a five. Rooms are small, but nicely appointed. No frills, but reasonably priced and a great location for UH events. We're visiting their Honors College. If the reservation desk had mentioned the parking restrictions when I called, this could have been avoided. So, if you have a vehicle ... Read more

Great place to stay if visiting the UH campus. Right in the heart of the campus and convenient to the Student Center. For an on-campus hotel, a little pricey though. However, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Easy on/off freeway, too!

It was worth it. The room was in excellent shape, the staff was great. The dining facilities were good but i dint use it that much. Great location. Being in the Campus is a big plus. The students were very nice so was the rest of the staff. The remote control for the TV it is not great as i wasn't able to pull the tv guide.

Staff was friendly! Perfect location for attending a COUGAR football game! Parking was convenient, though I would have preferred it to be complimentary. Clean rooms, well decorated! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel on UH campus across the street from the student center. Easy access from hotel parking garage to lobby and rooms. Was perfect for attending Cougar Preview Day. Book early because it does sell out!
