We've actually stayed at this location before, and the experience and hotel was so nice we had to come back again. Our second stay was much more pleasurable than our first, and nothing was wrong with our first stay, except we didn't get to stay long enough to even enjoy the amenities..this stay we enjoyed the workout center, the early morning breakfast, we walked around the area checking out the local shops and restaurants nearby, very intriguing. We had an extraordinary time, and the weather... Read more

The valet parking is a disaster. It took up to :45 to get our vehicle. The parking garage was closed The hotel is very tired and the buffet breakfast is not up to a Hilton Standard. With the exception of one man, the Honors lounge employees were very unconcerned about our visit. Our bath room was a reminder of a Motel 6. Exposed towel bar and toilet paper bars exposed and just painted over mounting screws.

Stayed for 3 nights on business. Everything as expected from a business hotel. Staff polite and helpful. Facilities fine. Room very large. Room service prompt and tasty. Bar staff great. Hotel is not the newest out there but this is a very good hotel that charges reasonable rates. Recommended.

As I've stated in the survey, vallet team and supervisors were extremely rude, the young lady at the front desk gave me incorrect information twice, I was without lights in restroom for the first night of my stay, and there was human waste on the bedding of 1 of the beds upon arrival.

This is a typical well cared for Hilton hotel. The room was good sized, clean, with a good finish level. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a business area but there are a few restaurants in the area to which you can walk. The staff was friendly. The only problem encountered on the faucet and hot water in the tub/shower. The water faucet was extraordinarily hard to turn on. My wife called me to turn it on for her because it was so difficult. The other problem was that the ... Read more

I was there for my nephew graduation in Hoiston, Texas. The hotel was nice. Being a Team Member of the hotel it was nice to stay there. I wish the hotel has self parking but they only had valet parking which is owned by a third party company and not the hotel. Breakfast buffet was great. House Keeping was really nice especially Ms. Laticia! She was wonderful. The front desk manager was great and corrected my reservation.

I stayed at the Hilton Post Oak for a conference at the nearby hotel. This is an upscale hotel, with a beautiful lobby and modern furnishings in the room. The location is terrific, with ample food offerings within easy walking distance. The positives - the hotel lobby is beautiful and the pool is decent. Room service was good. Free Shuttle to Galleria mall was a plus. Negatives: Room had a dirty cup behind the bed that never got cleaned even after notifying room service and the front desk. Room needs upgrades/fixes. Bathroom door does not close - it needs to be sanded and made level. Outlet in bathroom does not work, so you will have to blow dry your hair in the living area or kitchen area. This hotel checks all the boxes when it comes to Hilton quality with 2 exceptions-water pressure and cold A/C. We were hesitant to book at Hilton Post Oak because of the reviews. When we arrived we were greeted warmly in a beautiful reception area with tasteful paintings in the art gallery. The hotel boasts a beautiful view on the executive level with city views. We had an executive suite that suites our family of four (2 small children) perfectly, ahem, well close to it. As frequent travel... Read more

Very nice Hilton, the room was huge! Great to have a closet in the bathroom. The staff was very nice and let me check in early and late. Water pressure was super strong in the shower the only complaint. Better than no water pressure I guess. The pool area is very nice also, just is a journey to get there.

I'm a big Hilton fan, and it takes a lot to annoy me. I wouldn't post here if anyone from the hotel had communicated with me at all. This hotel has some good staff, but a few don't seem to care. I can deal with one cold shower and a broken hair dryer, but it took 4 messages and 48 hours to bring up a new dryer. Also, the first three staff I asked could not answer a simple question about where the vending machines are, but sent me on a wild goose chase. On the plus side, this property is only abo... This is a wonderful hotel in a good location. I have been coming since 2007. The supervision seems to be poor of recent. Rooms always seem to have a problem and the executive lounge is a joke. You pay for alcoholic beverages, which is fine, but the beverages are of extremely poor quality compared to cost. In spite of all this, staff is actually very attentive and they try their best. I believe the problem is probably with the hotel management. I love this hotel though. I only wish they could imp... Read more

Here for a work trip and had a 2 night stay booked at this Hilton. Its in a great location if you have business in the area. Unfortunately the rooms are basic, poor shower with low pressure. Also my toilet was running non stop and when flushed made a loud sound as if the pipes were going to bust! The maid service didn't replace my TP and my dirty towels were still on the floor in the restroom even after they made up the room. Oh and the bed pillows were not very good! As always, I enjoyed my one night stay at the Hilton Post Oak while on a business trip. As I am an Honors member, I lodged on the Honors floor where the rooms appear to have been very recently renovated - and look great! The beds are comfy, room is spacious, with little extras such as complimentary bottles of water. The Iron was new and didn't even leak! A plus. Bathrooms are big. The staff greeted me as an HHonors member. My room with requests were ready upon my arrival. I was not aware that the hotel had went through a major renovation of the guest suites. We chose to stay at the Hilton Post Oak as it was the perfect location to access downtown, the Galleria, Rice Village, Lakewood Church, the Heights and Museum District. Location was good and room was typically nice like you would expect for Hilton, however the shower was only cold water for two days in a row. This was after they came to "fix" the issue. When I told them about the issue at check out there was nothing offered by the desk as a mea culpa. When you pay over $200 for a hotel room the least you expect is a hot shower. I will avoid this Hilton in the future.

We're at this hotel currently celebrating a small family reunion for the weekend. We were looking forward to a great experience, and this has been a disappointment.
