Matress was broken and gave me a sore neck. Bathroom filthy w stains. Staff not knowledgable and rude. I asked for a fridge and the maid brought it to my room and dropped it on the floor so hard I wondered if it would work after that. I asked staff directions to the pool and they didn't know. The only thing I enjoyed was the outdoor pool but you can find that anywhere in Houston. Never again

When I checked in I asked for a room higher than the 1st or 2nd floor....no problem I got the 11th floor it was awesome..I had a very quick checkin and very good service just didn't take very long at all and I was in my room within minutes of arriving. Very good Service, all the staff had me on thier minds it seemed I enjoyed my stay....

It was my best stay ever. My children loved it and I must stay there again. They were so kind to us. What I appreciated most that there was a free shuttle bus available for Walmart, Airport, and anywhere within 3 miles radius. Blanca, Tashana, and everyone at the front desk was exceptional. The young lady that works the night shift was awesome!!! I slept like a baby there. I can say more but 5 stars to this place. It's my favorite!

I am so hooked on the executive level that I don't honestly know if I could stay on the regular floors again! Free breakfast, snacks all day, happy hour and ridiculously cheap beer and wine! And did I mention the espresso machine ??? And the superior wait staff ?? Anyway the hotel itself is massive with a beautiful lobby, rooms are nice but furniture is old. This hotel is large and convenient if you need to be near the airport. It's a great place to have a large meeting or convention. There's a Starbucks in the lobby. There are very few food and shopping options nearby so you'd have to venture out to find a little more excitement. There is room service and some overpriced options at the restaurant lobby, but not really my thing. I guess I visited after the major flood and could still smell the stench of mold/mildew. This hotel is on the bus route from the airport to downtown. There is a shopping mall across the road, there is a good car park with security patrols. The rooms are a good size and very clean and as there are 16 floors the higher floors have the best views. There are 4 large lifts so no problem about getting up and down. The 16th floor has a Hilton Honors members room which is great. All the staff were very helpful and I will stay here again when I visit Houston again. There is also a great ... Read more

I missed a connection at Houston and United put me up at this hotel. The punctual shuttle ttook around 25 minutes to get to the hotel. Check in was a little chaotic with too few staff. Check in staff said that there was no room service as the phones were down and the key system was failing too. I should have guessed that technology wasn't this hotel's strong suit. Once I got to the room it was lovely, large with a comfortable bed, good shower, nice toiletries. But the wifi. Oh my word, how c... Read more

My experience started waiting 40+minutes for the shuttle, at which point I gave up and took Uber. Arriving, you walk in the main entry to immediately be blasted with the stench of mold from the HVAC. At the front desk, one employee works frantically while another at the HHonors lane pounds away at a keyboard, avoiding eye contact. Service in the evenings at the cold, bar-like restaurant is awkward at best. Servers have the personality of dead bark and basic interpersonal skills are nowhere ... Read more

Let's get down to the basics including wireless internet was worthless in the room, phone was out, and someone puked in the lobby and the smell went into the elevator. What was okay included the interior Starbucks and Vino Cafe. The breakfast was 18.00 and only had that once since overpriced for a modest buffet. For a 4 star hotel this compares with motel 6. The windows leaked rain water. I guess microwaves and refrigerators cost too much to put in the rooms because my king suite did not have either. The bath tub drain was so slow I had to stand in 2 inches of water while taking a shower. The towels were thin and rough like sand paper. The carpet was worn out. Hotel was as good as most in this category however things you should know before booking. The neighborhood is not safe after dark and there is only one option for food and beverages after 5pm, the hotel bar. Staff are good, food good, beer cold. Be prepared to wait for dinner. Hotel clearly understaffed in kitchen and bar from 5 to 9pm.

Hotel itself is nice. Location is not very close to dining options and in a high crime area as locals refer to it as "Gunspoint" instead of Greenspoint. So, you feel stuck dining on-site and boy do they take advantage. Breakfast buffet is $18.00, at bar/restaurant the appetizers are $14.00, same price for a lousy club sandwich. The staff is great and the room is priced right so makes up for it a little.

A friend and I spent one night at the hotel, picked for it's location near I- 35 and I-635. I had stayed there some years ago and was favorably impressed. Not so this time, the service and maintenance of a much cheaper well worn hotel with an over the top decor does not make for a great stay. That is the reason for the three star rating.

Stayed here after a 10 hour flight from UK. Got an excellent deal on a room on the Executive Floor - was able to check in 24hrs in advance and got a room on 16th floor just a few doors away from the executive lounge. We enjoyed an evening in the lounge with many nice snacks plus an honesty bar fro drinks. Our room had a king sized bed and a large bathroom. There was an easy chair and a desk for work if required. We had a large picture window with views out toward central Houston. In the morning ... Read more

My family and I stayed here on our way to Galveston. The rooms are large, the beds comfy, the towels were nice and thick, and the lobby is beautiful. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the internet isn't free.

Stayed here on business for one night. Got a nice corner room with an extra window. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Gym was good with a good set up on equipment and floor space. Could use some new flooring though. Typical wear and edge curling seen with Hilton's choice in their standard rubber tiles.

Tough hotel to enjoy and the Executive Lounge lacks just about everything -- not the least of was food in the evening. All that was there at 6:55pm, was cheese and a little fruit. Were told at the front desk, food was served in the Lounge until 8pm. Not true. TV was inop, called in, nobody ever showed up to fix it.

This hotel is an average stay! The hotel is older, which is fine, but not up to the standards of a HILTON. Breakfast was terrible; service was average at best, and the location is limited for food options. If you have to stay near the airport, it may be a decent option for one night but no longer

20 minutes from the airport. I didn't reslize it was so far. No one to assist with luggage from the front door all the way to the room. The room was old, worn and dated. When the door was opened, the room smelled of mildew. The executive lounge was also old, worn and dated. The food was a 2 in a 1-10 scale. Veggies, unripe fruit. Fried ravioli and jar sauce, cheese cubes and packaged cookies. So disappointing.

Stayed at this hotel for just an overnight layover. Phoned for the hotel shuttle and was told that it was there right at the moment I was calling. We had to rush out to catch the shuttle before it left. The shuttle must pickup at the airport at scheduled times. The shuttle driver was the grumpiest ever...no greeting whatsoever not even a grunt. Check in was fine, our room was really large and comfy. Yes, it's 20 minutes from the airport but 20 minutes....reallly.....is that such a big dea... Read more

The Houston Hilton North has terrible customer service, the staff is never available. Poor value for the price of the room. The restaurant has tasteless food and is expensive. Staff is very uninformative. There is nothing close by and it's in an unsafe neighborhood.

Plan 45 minutes on shuttle from airport, stops at every concourse and nearby Marriott. Got upgrade, rooms are okay, broken bulb in lamp, room safe broken. TV is spotty reception. Executive lounge is so so, chairs need replaced, floor needs good scrubbing, breakfast is average. Pool opens early however bring a towel there are none there and a call to the desk was waste of time. On site restaurant called Vino, however very limited selection of wine.

The food was good at this hotel with somewhat slow some nights. The restaurant / bar (vine) seemed to be under staffed at night. The rooms were very good and clean. The only remark I would have about cleanliness is the outdoor pool could be skimmed more often to take out leaves and debris throughout the day.

For this business trip this hotel was in the perfect location. There are places to eat conveniently located and easy to get to. The Hotel is up to date and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable at their jobs. The room was well kept and clean with a comfortable bed and sitting area that was nice but could have been a little bigger. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone going to the area.

this hotel has a Hilton name but the inside could use some serious updating. I did enjoy the shower which was much higher pressure than I'm used to in hotels. The hotel is not located in a great area. Outside we frequently saw vagrants walking at hotel property and opening cigarette containers and garbage cans looking for things. They also approached my wife at different times. Overall not a great stay.

I recommended this hotel to my entire family when they come to visit us for Thanksgiving. In the past the service and quality of the hotel was great, so great that I decided to give up my home and stay there so my aunt would not have to pay for a hotel during her visit to Texas. My "WOW factor" was not as great during this stay. I feel it's time for remodeling to the rooms/halls. It's still a good hotel, just not as great as the other Hiltons I've visited in the past.
