Due to water damage the lobby area was relocated to a room. We didn't realize how bad the mildew smell in our room was until we left and took the smell with us on our clothes and luggage. This room should not be rented again until the smell is addressed.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn the night before my husband was having surgery at Memorial Hermann. I was nervous when we arrived to find the facility under renovation. The lady at the makeshift front desk was very nice. We were given a room on the 2nd floor that had already been updated. It was the last room at the end of the hall as far away from the construction as possible. Being in construction, they do have a very good separation between the old and the new right now that should keep noise a... Read more

Undergoing Lobby renovations. The check in set up is terrible. Breakfast area and food far below expectations. Rooms lack soundproofing. There are plenty of other hotels nearby that have better amenities and services.

We have previously stayed at this Hampton Inn because it is near relatives. This time, it is recovering from flood damage which destroyed the lobby, breakfast area, exercise room, etc. The entrance has been moved to the side of the building. The staff is going "above and beyond" to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. It is hard on all of them to be working in "temporary" quarters. Still, we have to say that the breakfast was not like it had been before. Our room on the 2nd floor... Read more

Even though the lobby was under construction, the staff went out of their way to be friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, and the restaurants nearby were pleasant. The staff made some excellent recommendations, and the breakfast bar was high quality.

Needed a hotel with no notice in houston. Reserved online and had no problems with check in. Picked this hotel due to being right off freeway. Also because they still have a couple of smoking rooms, which are very hard to find. Room was extremely clean and nice. Will stay here again

Nice staff, great location, very clean room. Enjoyed my stay and will stay there every trip to Houston from now on. The extra plus for me was that I was able to get a smoking room. Could not smell smoke in the halls or when I first walked into the room. Lots of places to grab a bite to eat too.

I was not informed of remodeling and access to the hotel for the disabled was minimum. If not for my friend, I would not have been able to get into the front lobby. Not a good experience! Accessibility and courtesy was not offered!

This hotel is definitely open for business and we found the value to be very good. The location near I-10 was important to us as we were driving across country. Our check-in was quick and the receptionist was welcoming. Our room was spacious and had two comfortable chairs. The desk chair offered great back support. The bed and linens were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked. Breakfast was a highlight as it featured delicious flaky hot fresh biscuits.

The hotel overall was really good! They are doing some sort of construction after a flood, so there was still garbage out front, but they minimized that impact, so that was good. Breakfast is great! The pool is a little small, and the workout gym is very, very small, but overall a good hotel! Be careful to only give them one credit card to charge, because if you pay with a different card when you leave, they are very, very slow in releasing the credit holds off the card you don't want billed... The location of this hotel is great. We did not rent a car during our stay from 4 - 12 July 2016. Great restaurants within easy walking distance - IHOP, Subway, Twin Peaks, Carrabba's, Taco Cabana. The hotel provides shuttle service to other nearby points. The driver and front desk personnel are very friendly and try to accommodate ALL requests. Small fitness room with no weights. USA Today (usually available) and coffee available all day long. Bottled water is provided. (The hotel provided a... Read more

our company travel agency nor the local location website informed me that this property is under serious renovation. Lous, noisy, dusty, inconvenient. Had many issues with the old style magnetic keys which would be erased every time I breathed. Staff was as helpful as possible but don't stay here if you don't have to

Visited this hotel during renovations. Very convenient to nearby restaurants and freeway access. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The exercise room was small, not sure if this was a temporary room or not. The hot breakfast selection could've also been better.

This hotel is honestly so wonderful. We travel a lot. We have stayed Amy places, many hotels. This by far is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Wonderful rates, amazing rooms and the beds are fabulous. Clean and comfortable. The girl who was working the front desk went above and beyond to help us on a mistake we made not even her responsibility and I was so Thankful to her for staying involved until we solved the issue. I will for sure only stay at this location when I am there.

Chose this hotel in error. We are a family of 5 and the room was cramped. However the manager was gracious and gave us an additional room at a discounted rate. The staff were always in a hurry to clear the breakfast at exactly 10am. A couple of guests came for breakfast a few mins after 10am on Saturday and didn't even find hot water for a cup of tea.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever, ever had. It was shockingly bad from beginning to end! I travel about 125 days a year, so that's saying something. I'm also a gold status Hilton Honors person. Pros: - It was near the location I needed. - Price was reasonable. Cons: - Had to walk through a gauntlet of smoke to go in the door. Due to renovation, you have to come in through a side door, literally two feet from a bench where smokers sit. It's unavoidable and yucky. - The staff wa... Read more

Decent hotel for the price. only bad thing was that the lobby was under renovations and the entrance was through the side door, very uncomfortable to access with bags. Also a bit of security as the side door did not have a latch to use with hotel key.

My visits at the Hampton Inn corridor has always been so relaxing. When I think of comfort away from home,I always think of the Hampton Inn corridor on I-10. The entire staff work real hard to please. If there is a maintenance problem they get right on it. Wow! What an awesome team. Thanks Hampton Inn corridor for a great stay

Stolen from by hotel staff when we stayed due to a fire in our home that was in the same neighborhood as the hotel. The front desk staff is outstanding but the management does not hold its cleaning staff accountable for thievery. A terrible experience when you have just had a fire in your home and are homeless and looking for safety and security.

The hotel has been renovating for over 6 months and if they are completed (because construction was not evident) they need to start over and drop their association with Hilton because this Hampton Inn, IS NOT up-to-par with ANY Hampton or Hilton I ever stayed at in the past 30+ years of traveling!

What I mean is it does not have all the extra's that I have come to expect with Hampton Inn's. Business Center was one room off the main hallway 1desk, 1 computer, and no door. Rooms were a little smaller than normal, Not much of a excerise room. The breakfast was ok but not the usually Hampton big breakfast. Staff however was great very friendly, very attentive and great all around. Signs of construction were evident as there were big pallets outside the enterance of the hotel. Think next tim... My husband and I were attending a continuing education conference at the Westin for our CPA licenses. I was disappointed when they did not have any rooms available. Turns out it was a gift! The Hampton Inn was less expensive, included breakfast, was clean quiet and lovely although right off the Interstate and only minutes from the conference.

Stayed for 2 nights at Hampton Inn. in terms of proximity, this is a great place to stay in terms of location, 5 minutes walk to the office, closest to good restaurant options. Service and hospitality from the staff is excellent. Rooms are little smaller in size but convenient. Breakfast is one of the best when I compare with these business hotels. Snacks and coffee/tea available throughout the day

Of course they are renovating their hotel, but this should still be no excuse. The FIRST room we were in had no water pressure, the shower head was yellow and crusty, the armoire boards were coming apart. We left to eat dinner, came back, showered and just when we thought we were ready for bed, the sheets had a foul odor, a horrible, foul odor. Of course they moved us out of the room, but the next was not any better. We stay for the convienence and of course the price, but this is the third visit... Read more

Hey, this was a 180 from my stay in Arlington the week prior. Water pressure issue on the fourth floor but the day staff at the desk made good on it. Rooms are darn clean, wish they offered more Diamond parking spots but everything else was great. They offer a full line up of beverages and snacks. Very happy.
