Outdated and old. Best part about the stay were the decent beds and pillows. Front desk person didn't seem to know the area well. Internet was decent and so was the breakfast. I would look for a different hotel next time I am in the area.

You can hear planes taking off quite frequently. If you want quiet, pick another Hampton Inn far, far away from the airport. The pool area and hot tub look very inviting. Breakfast the next morning was very good. I like eating apples, they are plentiful at Hampton Inn.

The Hampton Inn at Houston Hobby Airport is an excellent hotel. The complementary breakfast is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Houston and is during business in the Hobby Hobby Airport area. The staff is friendly and are willing to accommodate the needs of the customers.

If you need a good reliable hotel to stay, this is a good one. It is clean, has 24 hour shuttle service, a complimentary breakfast and coffee available. The rooms are nice size and all amenities are first rate. I would stay there again.

I stay at this hotel frequently when I have an early morning flight from Hobby--don't trust the Houston traffic with a 40 mile drive from Richmond, Tx. Don't always have time for the complimentary breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to learn a sack snack was prepared that I could take with me and enjoy before the security line. I also like leaving my car at the hotel while I travel. Will be returning soon.

Convenient to Airport, but lacking in availability to to get to a place to eat. No mini fridge to bring in food from the outside. staff were helpful with what they had and very courteous but but the late night crew (very early morning checkout) could use a personality class) Nobody is happy about the early mornings but it showed on the staff as well. a smile would go a long way.

Due to the storm that hit Houston this Memorial Day weekend, things were hectic to say the list but the front desk (Jazzy) was very welcoming & nice. Phones were ringing off the hook so we had to wait our turn for her assistance which wasnt an issue. From what I gathered some of the callers were unhappy travelers. Jazzy stayed friendly & helpful. Never once did she let the situation change her service (if it was me, i would have hung up on a few of the callers, I could hear them yelling at h... Read more

Hampton inn is my go to and this one was fabulous for air travel from Hobby. They have a shuttle that goes all over and the curtains close so full darkness is possible, I can't sleep with a lot of light. You can slightly hear the air planes, but really not bad at all-cost of being close to the airport.

The staff at this hotel is uninformed. They did not have the room as reserved and requested. We stayed at this location and used their shuttle service to the Galveston port. The shuttle driver was VERY professional and gave excellent service. The hotel staff gave us the wrong time for shuttle pick up and also over-charged for this service. The staff is very difficult to understand and communicate with. I would not stay at this location again.

I have stayed at this hotel before, and have always been pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast in the morning is plentiful and fresh. The common areas are also very clean, and we really appreciate the beverage selection right by the front door! For being close to the airport, any plane noise is virtually non-existent. The rooms can be darkened as mentioned in another review.

The rugs were stained and dirty, one of the elevators was not working, ice maker sounded like it was going to explode. My room had garbage on the floor in the bathroom, the bathroom counter had toothpaste stuck on as well as the sink had toothpaste in it as well. Air Conditioner took forever to cool down. Shower had rust stain. Could hear the planes through the windows

I thought that this was a very nice and clean place to stay and the staff was wonderful. Its close to the airport and they have wonderful shuttle service, they picked us up from the airport and took us where we needed to go and picked us up when we needed them to. The shuttle took us anywhere we wanted or needed to go within a 3 mi radius, which was a nice incentive along with the wonderful staff.

The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was the musty smell. Maybe because of the humidity. Everything else was what we expect from a Hampton. I thought we might hear planes at night but we didn't however during the day we did.

Staff friendly and courteous Not far from I45 Cons: Breakfast can get a little cramped if allot of people are in the breakfast area. No self service laundry Our stay was overall great and we would say again.

We stayed overnight with our two grandsons and flew out the next morning. For $20 we left our car there for a week. We were given a travel pack upon departure with a muffin, protein bar, apple, and water. That provided healthy snacks for our flight. All and all, it was a great experience.

Stayed on both sides of our cruise. Decent hotel, nothing too fancy, but clean and big rooms. Breakfast was for only 1 hour so never got to it. Beat part was the free shuttle! This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel. Each time the quality has gone down. The staff is fairly nice but somewhat aloof. They are supposed to be remodeling, but this hotel needs major repair. I found that the room smelled very musty and it appears to be much less than the Hampton quality. There is no way I'd stay here again unless they update the hotel and certainly replace both management and the front desk staff. This is probably one of the worst Hampton properties I've been i... Stayed here July 22, for one night before our cruise out of Galveston. Hotel is nothing spectacular, but the staff makes this place worth coming here. This Hampton displayed the predictable Hampton comfort and hospitality at a time when we most needed it - following a long international flight with a domestic connection the next morning via SWA. One memorable standout of this otherwise normal Hampton experience was the shuttle driver Juan. His motivation and "head that thinks" is so refreshing to run into in this world of virtual zombies. Visible mould growing on the wall by the air conditioning unit. I would not recommend any guests staying in this room. Turning on the ac unit did help to mask the smell of the mound. Without the presence of a fridge or microwave in the room, it was not possible to bring any food or liquids for safe storage.

This hotel should not have the Hampton/Hilton brand associated with it. It felt more like a no-tell motel. Floors are dirty. My bathtub was badly stained. Elevators were a mess. While construction/remodeling a hotel is always a noisy undertaking, it does have to occur in order to provide the best guest experience as possible. The general manager did everything she could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, and did, in fact, go over and beyond to make both my daughter and me as happy as can be!

The Hotel is a mess. Older rooms are poor and first floor is a construction zone. In my room neither the phone nor the TV worked. At $200 a night this is just a disgrace. From looking at the reviews it appears that the Doubletree is the best choice around Hobby, and it was actually listed as less expensive on the web but I went here instead out of misguided loyalty to Hampton Inns based on past experience.
